Girls trip

I took my daughter and daughter-in-lawā€˜s on a little girls trip and this was a perfect location for us to be able to walk just about anywhere and get to the beach and still have enough room to have some quite space as well. Billy was easy to contact and quick to respond. Beautiful home and location.

Close to the beach, but far enough away from the noise

Nice spacious home. Everything was as promised in the listing lots of beach toys. Everything you need two blocks from the beach lots of restaurants and stores. The beach was nice with great waves. Billy. The host was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of if needed would definitely stay again When we come back to San Diego..

Amazing Spot and Great Owner

This place is awesome! Great location, close to anything you want in OB, the owner is super chill and easy to deal with. The house is great, rooftop patio, hot tub, great living area and kitchen. Its quiet, comfortable, the bedrooms are all big and comfortable as well.100% recommend this spot if you ever want to go to SD or OB!!

Lovely Stay

Beautiful home in a great location! Easy walk to OB and the beach. The house was a perfect home-base for our daughter's wedding at the Thursday Club. Billy was very responsive and accommodating.

Perfect Place

We had a fantastic time at this great property. The space was perfect for us (family of 4 with two teenagers who want separate space) and the sunsets on the upper patio are amazing!! The house is walking distance to some great restaurants and the Ocean Beach pier.

Amazing Views

We enjoyed our 3 night stay! Perfect accommodation for three couples in town for a tennis tournament. So glad we chose this property- it was by far the best choice in Ocean Beach. Thanks Billy!

Property was a great location for our group! Close enough to places to eat and have drinks so everyone could have a great time. Great property!

Billy's rental property is simply outstanding. Beyond being in a great location -- close (but not too close!) to the retail/bar/restaurant areas of OB -- the house is very well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The recent renovations to bedroom and bathroom areas in particular are really well done. We had an excellent stay and hope to return sometime soon!

Perfect Stay

My family and I had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at Billy's home. The house is in a great location, just a few blocks away from downtown Ocean Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a beautiful view of the ocean from the second floor. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving at the Spanish Dream Home

The pictures and profile do not begin to do justice for this property and the property manager. The entire experience was spectacular. My entire family including my 90 year old Mother who is wheelchair bound were able to have a fantastic holiday experience.

Really great!

Loved this jewel of a place in Ocean Beach. Well sorted out, clean, with beautiful decks and views of the ocean. Very close to all the action in Ocean Beach. A quick walk to shopping, coffee, restaurants, the pier and the beach. Billy the manager is super responsive. Weā€™ve stayed in lots of vacation rentals and this may be the best!

Fantastic stay near Ob

Paver was responsive. Directions clear and home was very comfortable. We were out and about most of the day but house had everything we needed for our family. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen , supplies etc. perfect place fir a San Diego stay. About 10 min walk to plenty of restaurants. 20 to beach.

OB getaway

An absolutely amazing property with everything we could possibly need! Bill is an excellent host - by far the best Iā€™ve worked with on VRBO. House is a few minutes walk to downtown OB. We enjoyed the farmers market (Wednesdays 4p-8p), the beach, great eateries. Visited mission beach, La Jolla, seaport village, Gallagher square for J boog /Kolohe Kai concert, Old Town and Coronado Island. Short drive to all of these wonderful places. This is our second time staying at Billā€™s property- last time it was the bungalow. Hope to be back again soon!

Family vacation getaway

House was truly a Spanish dream. As soon as we opened the door we were amazed how spacious and beautiful it was. Pictures provided donā€™t do the house justice. Spacious fully equipped kitchen and living room with beautiful ocean views. Three spacious bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds each with their own custom tiled bathrooms. Master bedroom upstairs a dream with a rooftop deck and an Amazing ocean view! A short walk to the beach with many shops and restaurants. Host is very friendly and accommodating. Family and I had an amazing time! Would not hesitate to return.

GORGEOUS house - everything we needed

The house itself is absolutely beautiful with a great open layout. We utilized all amenities (cooked several meals, enjoyed the hot tub, washed laundry) and all functioned as needed. The upstairs deck was perfect for sunset, the 3-car driveway made parking a breeze (though there was plenty of street parking too) and the proximity to Newport Ave (the main street), restaurants, and the beach was ideal but just far enough away to enjoy the quiet. This was mentioned in a previous review but there is a bathtub in one of the guest rooms which is helpful if you have little children and an additional twin mattress (pictured in the online photos) in another. Billy was available via text when we had questions and overall we couldn't have asked for a better vrbo experience! Such a gem!

An Oasis

My family absolutely loved this stay. The location was perfect and it was super clean. Plenty of room for my family of five, with air conditioning and several bathrooms. The balcony was a wonderful evening retreat, and my kids loved playing games at the little booth. Bath towels and boogie boards were also awesome. The only thing that surprised us was that there were other people staying in the back half of the house. Absolutely not problem, but seeing the lights on was eyebrow raising. Once we figured it out we were fine. OB can be hectic for kids, so having this place to return to at the end of the day was awesome. Highly recommend
