As you stated, that you had luke warm on the second day, it would have impossible to know there was an issue with the hot water because it was working on your first day there. Also it’s hard to offer a refund to a guest who asks for one almost as a threat. “Are you going to offer a refund before I write my review?” I offered to send you a partial refund but you were asking for almost 50 percent! Sometimes houses have issues and we can’t be everywhere at once unfortunately. That’s why we rely on our cleaners and guests to communicate issues to us so we can correct them. I was able to address all issues you had in a matter of 30 minutes. Moving forward maybe have a little grace for your futures hosts and ask for reasonable refunds when issues come up.
