Deb was a great guest, she requested many additional items after arrival that were not part of the property and all her requests were made promply including building an impromptu ramp to access other parts of the home. Not sure what the 1 star is about, she was very happy and well attended to considering the self serve nature of any VRBO property. I would be honored to have her as a return guest and she already booked for next year. Perhaps she does not operate the VRBO app, hence the low rating

Client tried to cancel prior to arrival, complained the 2nd they arrived. The listing states window units in main house central a/c in guest house. The property was immaculate, the beds are less than 2 years old other than bunks in small room. The property is secluded and on a private wooded lot with Ocean views. A parking pass to drive to the beach is provided. The drive is less than 5 minutes. We are not listed as walk to beach, we are listed as ocean views. This guest asked for money back more than once including prior to arriving. I would not rent to him again.

Guest verified by email number of bedrooms and bed counts several times prior to arrival. Also verified the pet policy prior to and during booking process. Additionally She was confirmed as to the number window Air conditioners and location, and that 2 rooms were not climate controlled Our policy is 1 dog jot to exceed 40 lbs., She brought 3 large dogs over 70 pounds each. She moved all of the mattresses out of bedrooms onto floor of living area and master bedroom. And proceeded to lock her 3 dogs in the room while they went to the beach all day. The dogs were allowed on all the furniture by the owner. We are a former military Bunker converted to a family home over the past 8 decades. The house while close to the beach is in the woods and secluded and insects are expected in the setting. The pool was immaculate and cleaned prior to guest arrival as co firmed by guest, ot rained hard for 2 days during their stay and the was debris in the bottom of the pool as a result, the next day the pool was cleaned and Serviced professionally as we do every week. The guest had a member of the family come I'll during the trip and was rushed to the hospital and later transferred to a critical care facility, it was stressful for the guest as she stated personally when I visited them to address any issues they were experiencing. All issues were dealt with immediatly and concisely. This guest was NEVER going to be happy, nor had she ever intended to be honest about the disobedient dogs. She paid our cleaning service for additional cleaning during her visit due to the dogs but did not pay the agreed upon amount. We had more then 10 communications prior to her stay, and she heard only what she wanted to hear and told me only what she wanted me to know. Even with the additional cleaning throughout the week, The house required twice the number of man hours to reset the property and the dogs caused hundreds of dollars in damages on a property that was professionally cleaned, updated and maintained just a week before she came. This is not a person I would ever rent to again
