Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Island Place is a peaceful Gulf-front retreat where nature, history, and walkable island living come together for an unforgettable Cedar Key experience.

Worst television system

We attempted to watch some tv while it rained. The tv system is the worst. It is a “smart tv” that only gives you what it wants you to watch. It is Amazon prime and only operates apps, no tv channels. I have a smart tv at home and have xfinity and get to watch what I want to watch. Then we ran out of toilet paper, 8 am the morning we were leaving. It was very frustrating.

Amazing condo unit with all the extras. Updated w/ larger kitchen then most of the other units.

Clean and concise instructions from the beginning to end. Pool was super clean and nice amenities. Maintenance keeper is on top of the exterior of the property.

Nice place

Nice, comfortable place. Disappointed with quality of WiFi and several channels on dish network disappeared during our stay. It might be nice to add to description that a charcoal grill is available rather than just grill.

Watch out!!

No complaints about the unit itself. It was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything you need. HUGE PROBLEM was that they neglected to mention the MAJOR construction project 20 feet from the balcony. Yes, 20 feet!! If you don’t like construction equipment, cranes, front end loaders, cement saws starting at 7:30 AM and running all day, then stay away!!! Not a moments peace our entire stay. They did discount our room when we complained but it ruined our visit!!! Stay away until the bridge project is complete!! 02/18/2022.

Cozy weekend getaway

It wasn't typical FL weather--cold and rainy but the accommodations were perfect for a cozy weekend getaway. (The car is parked close w covered walkways.) And walking to nearby restaurants and shops was fun even w jackets and umbrellas. It was super clean and comfortable to watch sports as well as the view while snuggled inside. One evening we did get a spectacular sunset sky.
