Located in Candlewood Knolls, a sought after private lake community in New Fairfield, it's the perfect home to entertain family and friends. Our home offers a bright, open floor plan with sliding glass doors that wrap around the house to enjoy views of Candlewood Lake. Take in the sun and go for a swim at one of the 3 beaches within the community, all just steps away or a golf cart ride. Tennis court, basketball court, playground, bocce, horse shoes, and a baseball field all will keep you busy during the day, then enjoy tranquility and stargazing around our fire pit in the evening.

Candlewood Lake Retreat

This is a beautiful house located in a quaint, cozy neighborhood. We were surrounded by fall foliage and amazing lake views. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Getaway

We had such a nice relaxing time at the Lake House. It is open and airy with high ceilings and lots of lake view windows. The Master bed is comfy and we enjoyed hanging out in the large "TV" loft taking in the views and sitting by a roaring fire (main level) with our morning coffee.Linda is very kind and shows great concern for her guests and her home. It was wonderful!!!

Lovely Location

We stayed for a week in October and it was lovely. My kids 6&4 had a great time playing at the playground, in the soccer field, in the sand down by the lake. The outdoor space was fantastic for having family members in the area join us for dinners. Watching the sun rise over Candlewood Isle from the upstairs balcony was one of my favorite things. The house itself is clean and comfortable. The neighbors are really friendly and the hosts are very quick to respond to messages. Would highly recommend!

Amazing stay

This is a long overdue review of my March 2022 stay. I enjoyed it so much that I'd rather share this late, than forgo it altogether. Guests will appreciate the idyllic setting: a short walk to the water and a short drive to supermarkets, attractions, the highway, and many restaurants. The house is open and spacious with great views, and lots of sunlight. The décor is eclectic, attractive, and homey Staying in can feel as memorable as going out. You will have access to the outdoor grill, the fireplace, laundry facilities, internet, two smart TVs, a well-appointed kitchen, and a very fun sleep number king-sized bed in the primary bedroom! My two friends and I came to write for two weeks and found ourselves relaxed and very inspired! Most importantly, our host was amazing. Warm, friendly, and readily available whenever we had a question. She did all she could to make us feel welcome and make our check-in and check-out really easy. Of all of the VRBO properties I have visited over the years, this is absolutely my favorite. I hope to stay again.
