Welcome to the coast! This trendy beach cottage is decorated in a modern style that is sure to delight. Curl up in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy the view of the ocean and greater Newport - or head out to the deck and take in the fresh ocean air. This home is a vibrant community, centrally located to all the happenings. Enjoy restaurants and shops nearby, and check out the bookstore across the street.

There's plenty of room to relax upstairs as well, thanks to the bonus upstairs lounge. Each bedroom features a view of the ocean, neighborhood, or both! But the kitchen is the true heart of this home and features a French door fridge, an extra-long breakfast bar, and appliances big and small to help you put together fabulous meals. Pack lightly, your vacation home includes a washer/dryer. A gas grill is provided for those who just can't get enough of that great ocean view, plus an electric vehicle charger adds convenience during your stay.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The kitchen was a little sparse in serving dishes and utensils and the stove top was greasy. The bedrooms were clean and well appointed. Could of had a manual for the tv and gas stove

Very nice accommodations. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only downside was the bar noise Sunday night-our first night. It was fine the other three nights. The other issue was the terrible smell in the the fridge. Fishy. There than that the stay was perfect. Would stay again for sure!

Perfect spot to stay in Nye Beach. Walking distance to everything, couldn't be much closer to the beach. Great views from every room. Cute old house that's been updated. Was clean, beds were comfortable. When we arrived there was a load of towels in dryer and dishwasher was full but clean. Couple things to note/tips for others - fridge isn't plumbed for water so grab ice when you go to store and stock up. The bar is loud once they close and patrons await their rides home (1am) but It didn't bother us. There are a lot of friendly cats in the area so be sure to keep the doors/screen closed. The corner chair by the slider smells like a kitty may have sprayed it. All in all great place and we will stay here again!

Needs work

Dirty dishes in dishwasher, dryer ran for 2.5 hours after check in full of towels. No coffee filters or extra trash bags and outside trash can was absolutely full! House was fine with great views and location.

Very comfortable clean house in a great location

Loved the house, very comfortable beds and bright space. Amazing ocean view from upstairs. Overall we had a great time. Would definitely stay there again. A few issues with vacasa not sending someone to figure out why the gas fireplace was beeping the first night we were there. Seems like customer service could be better. Also provide batteries and lightbulbs if those things aren’t going to be checked in between each guest. Other than that, a great week!

Great location, wonderful views

One problem recognized on arrival dealt with by manager promptly and effectively. Otherwise, only demerits are that upstairs bedrooms did not have night tables where a lamp could be placed or chairs on which you could put your suitcase. Finally, the toaster oven needs to be replaced. All easily fixed.

In the heart of Nye Beach: Great location

Comfortable and sparklingly clean. Awesome open kitchen-dining room for gatherings. Beautiful views of the beach and ocean from every room. Short walk to the beach, cafes and shops. We had a great time!

Great location, bed, and space for a family!

We stayed at Sea Mist Cottage for four nights and really wish we could have added another night or two. The location was great, very quiet area and just a block from the beach. The views were amazing!I do wish that the dresser in the downstairs bedroom was not filled with bedding and the dresser in this room was blocked by a bedside table. We cleared the dresser to use for our clothes. The living room could be a bit cozier with more seating. There was 5 of us. We could not all sit together in this room.There is a washer and dryer on-site which was great for our rainy clothes!

Listing is accurate. I would agree with reviews about parking being difficult with larger vehicles. It was tight but fine with two small SUVs.

Perfect for our short stay in Newport

Just as presented online. Clean, Roomy, close to restaurants and beach. Great place for our grandchildren to celebrate Halloween! Could have done without wind and rain but great puzzle weather!

Wonderful Time

I took a mid week vacation with my Uncle and Grandmother. This was the perfect spot. Close beach access and many food options in walking distance. The everyone said their rooms were great, comfy mattresses and enough places for our stuff. The kitchen had a good amount of things for basic needs. Only drawback some of the pans were near the end of their useful life. Also the fridge had water and ice options but they didn’t work/ seems like the water was hooked up. In the future I’d stay here in a heartbeat.

Pretty good, but the parking was a nightmare

Perfect house for my husband, 2 small kids and my parents. We each had our own rooms, we cooked in and dined out and both were pretty good! The only complaint I have for this house is the very steep driveway and the way it’s angled Is really a pain. If you have a small car, not a problem at all but it was hard to maneuver 2 cars in and out every time we wanted to leave. The WiFi was only ok, sometimes.. quite spotty and cut out a lot. The home was clean, comfy and spacious enough. I have a smaller car so worked fine for me, but if we would’ve brought our truck there’s no way we would’ve fit. Walk to the beach was pretty short so that was nice, and I’d stay here again.

Location, Location, Location

We loved staying here. The location to shops, the beach, and food couldn't be any closer. The view is spectacular. Parking is a little tight for 2 larger vehicles but we were able to park our GMC Sierra and our friends Chevy Tahoe on both spots, but one vehicle was blocked in. It was fairly clean, however, they asked for shoes to be removed but our socks turned dark after about an hour of walking around, and we would have mopped but didn’t find anything for that to be accomplished. The kitchen has great appliances and a large refrigerator. We will definitely stay here again and would will recommend this gem to friends and family. walking around. We would have b

Great location

Location cannot be beat. You do not have to drive anywhere! The house is charming and clean. Ample space for adults and a kid to play. Great outdoor seating for meals. Privacy is good and white noise machine was included for street noise if needed.

Charm, location, location…

The perfect place to exhale and enjoy the Oregon coast. Suggestion to management…coffee pot wasn’t working, access to key lock box was confusing since there was no code given in email and then key didn’t work.
