Modern 3 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home. Ocean front home with fantastic views of Whales year round. 2 living floors for separate Family privacy.
As you enter the large entryway you will be in the lower level Family Room with wet bar and plush leather furniture. The couch is a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy the view of the ocean as you turn on the gas fireplace and flatscreen HDTV with cable and DVD player. Walk down the hallway to the very large laundry room with top of the line washer and dryer. Continue on to the full bath with tub/shower and high end towels. At the end of the hall you have the choice of the oceanfront queen bedroom with large walk-in closet or the ocean view queen bedroom with walk-in closet and includes a trundle bunk bed with a lower double bed and upper single bed. Both queen beds are fitted with 600 thread count linens and a Simmons Beautyrest Black Pillow top mattress. We also provide a pak-n-play portable crib and a stair guard fence.
Take the Brazillian Cherry Hardwood stairs to the upper floor. There is a half bath at the top of the stairs as you enter the Great Room with fantastic ocean views and sounds from our 40 foot deck. Inside is the Living Room with leather reclining furniture, Dining Room, Kitchen and Master Suite. All with beautiful ocean views from each room. The Kitchen provides all stainless steel appliances and every utensil you will need to cook your meals. You can turn on the second gas fireplace and flat screen HDTV with DVD player as you enjoy the views and sounds of the Oregon coast. We provide a bottle of wine and popcorn for your first evening in our home.
The dining table seats 8 plus there are 4 stools at the breakfast bar for more seating if needed.
The huge Master Suite has 180 degree views of the ocean and a sliding door to the large ocean front deck. The King bed provides 800 thread count linens and a Stearns and Foster Pillowtop mattress. The walk-in closet provides enough storage and hangers for your complete wardrobe.
The Master Bath has double sinks with Granite counter tops, a large walk-in shower and a very big Jacuzzi tub to relax in after a day at the beach or shopping.
We are about a 4 block walk by street and trails or you can load up all of the chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and beach toys into your car and take a 1 minute drive to the 68th street beach access where there is parking available at the beach.
Golfing is a 5 minute drive to agate beach golf course or if you golf better than us you can take a 15 minute drive to Salishan Resort. There are various other Golf Courses within a 30-45 minute drive.
The Newport Bayfront is a 10 minute drive on hiway 101. You will find plenty of shops and various restaurants to dine. You can also book a deep sea fishing excursion or go Whale watching. The Oregon Coast Aquarium and Rogue Brewery are under the Yaquina Bay Bridge at the waterfront.
Along the way to any of these adventures you will find fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you may need for your visit. The Thriftway in Newport has one of the best selections of wine on the Oregon coast and they are open 24 hours.
Drive north down hiway 101 to Depoe Bay and see the worlds smallest harbor and home the the Oregon Coast Guard Rescue. There are shops, restaurants and the Oregon Coast Whale Visitors Center. Another 20 minutes and you arrive in Lincoln City where you can shop at the Outlet Mall or visit Chinook Winds Casino for a little gambling or live entertainment.
Oregon has some of the most beautiful, clean beaches on the west coast. Enjoy a walk on the beach or pack a lunch and beverages and enjoy the ocean.
