Cascade Village/ Deck w/ Mountain Views/ Heated Pool

The well-maintained, newly updated, two bedroom condo (Unit 329) includes a full kitchen with new appliances, cozy living room with wood-burning fireplace and private off-ground balcony with panoramic mountain views. This unit does not have a washer/dryer, however there are coin operated laundry facilities in the building.

Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom - King Bed (Main Level)
2nd Bedroom - Double Bed and a Bunk Bed (Single over Double) with TV and Ensuite Bath (Upstairs)

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly. Also, trailers are not allowed.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the upper 40s.

Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Resort, 26 miles (less than 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less than 30 minutes). Free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, and ski rental shop (with discounts)

Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Unit was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Could have accommodated 7 adults easily. Please provide some pot holders and trivets to the unit. We had to use towels to handle the hot pots. Also, some tissues in the bathroom.Location was great just a few minutes from Purg resort.

Our stay was excellent. The location was perfect for snowboarding at Purgatory and had plenty of room for our group of 5. The host was very responsive and happy to answer questions. Would definitely recommend!

Great place!

We stayed here for our annual family ski trip. The condo was great! Spacious enough ( all teenagers had plenty of room) and the amenities were excellent. The location was perfect also.....just a short drive to the resort

Our second time in cascade mountains. Location is great if you prefer to be away from the crowds. Durango is 30 mins drive. The property was clean and perfectly stocked with everything needed for a weeklong stay. 100% recommend.

Summer getaway

We enjoyed our stay here as part of our road trip. The unit was thoughtfully stocked and very clean. The views of the surrounding mountains were amazing. We arrived at night and finding the actual unit was a bit tricky but we had good assistance from the support number. We very much enjoyed our time here and recommend it.

So convenient to Purgatory Resort!

We enjoyed our family stay in Cascade Village. It is so convenient to Purgatory and the ski rental location on-site is so easy and the equipment was great. It snowed very hard our last night, but the snowplows were out early clearing the roads. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. The stairs and long hallway are a bit of a challenge for unpacking and packing, and we missed not having a washer and dryer in the unit, but otherwise we were very happy with it.

Loved the layout with master on first level. Very nicely decorated and functional. Only issues were: 1) no in-condo laundry and 2) very weak WiFi. We’ve stayed at Casecade many years and there are many other rentals that aren’t as nice decorated but have the advantage of in-condo laundry and better WiFi.. If you have to do any on-line work, better have a back up plan for connectivity. If these two issues were fixed we would stay here everytime.

Beautiful House in an Even More Lovely Location

This is the third time our family has stayed in Cascade Village. We've added another child since the last time and rented this larger unit with two bedrooms. It was immaculate. 5 stars for cleanliness. I have severe food allergies and have to cook on trips, so the kitchen was a necessity. It was well stocked, and had what i needed. Loved the wood fireplace. And the bed downstairs! SO comfy. My husband I wanted to bring it home with us. We stayed with our 3 kids, ages 1, 4, and 6, and they loved it, too. The description did not explain the house layout, but in case anyone is wondering, there is a bedroom on the first floor with a detatched guest bath. The second floor is not a loft, but there is no door at the top of the stairs. A hall leads past a large bathroom to the second sleeping area with the bunk bed. Great set up with kids, although the lack of a door upstairs is hard if you have young children. 5 star experience.

Just ok-wouldnt book again

The condo was cute, and we've stayed in this complex many times. However, it certainly was not clean. The floors were dirty, bedding needed washing etc. The lack of a broom or dustpan to sweep up on our own also made it hard to maintain any additional incoming dirt from hauling wood up or cooking. Master bed had a ridiculous topper that would not stay on. There is not enough seating in the living room to accommodate the advertised number of guests. The ski locker was full of other stuff, so it didn't see much use. Balcony was snow packed and icy, so we could not step out for fresh air or to watch the kids play below. Wifi was out almost the entire trip. Some attention should be given to this property.

Stay in Cascade Village @ Purgatory

The rental was in a perfect location for us. It was exactly as described. It was clean, organized and plenty of necessities to get us started. An issue I did have is with the sofa bed located in the living room. After opening it, we could not get it to close. On Tuesday @ 8:45 AM I called VRC and left a voice mail stating I was having an issue with the sofa bed. I also sent an email shortly thereafter. I did receive a response from Agent A on the email stating that maintenance would come by and check it that day. I never saw them. Also, I never received a phone call from VRC after leaving the message. That evening, I sent another email expressing my disappointment that no one had been by. I did receive a response from Agent B stating that Agent A had submitted a service request. He asked that I give him a minute to see why the maintenance team didn't show today and when I could expect someone. He stated in his email that he would be in touch soon. I never received a response . I never heard another word and any sign of a maintenance team coming by. This issue left me with no use of the living room for the remainder of the week. Therefore, I feel a partial refund is due to me and a explanation as to why this issue was not resolved. RM

Perfect mountain getaway near Purgatory for families

Great stay families! Cozy condo with fitting cabin decor, fireplace, great view of mountains, and all the comforts of home. There wasn’t a thing we needed that the owners hadn’t already provided! Upper floor was great for kids. Whole family enjoyed the board games, Wii gaming console, WiFi, and linking the TV into our streaming services. Great kitchen for preparing meals. Cascade Village provided firewood and also had a convenient daily shuttle to Purgatory Ski Resort. We would definitely come back in the winter or also in the summer!
