Gorgeous country views and less than two miles from downtown. Escape from stress to this cozy cabin on 3.1 acres, with your own private walking trail. Peaceful setting with fruit trees, wild mushrooms and wild blackberries for you to pick while in season. Wake up to deer just outside your door. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill in the back yard.
Visit downtown Pt. Pleasant where you'll find multiple shops, restaurants, the Mothman Statue, Tu Endie Wei State Park and the River Walk with hand painted murals on the flood wall.

The cabin is featured in Sherri Brake's Podcast "Mothman & More" Season 2/Episode 1. Sherri recorded the Podcast while staying at the cabin.

The cabin is being used as a main filming site for the upcoming movie "The Point Pleasant Tapes."

The cabin was featured in the TV Series “Murder in the Heartlands” Season 1, Episode 12 (Field of Bad Dreams) and a movie producer stayed at the cabin for peace and quiet while he finished writing a script.

Host was Wonderful, very helpful with everything. Her thoughtfulness for the guest was Exceptional! The cabin was great, we had snow while staying, it was beautiful. Saw some deer and took a little walk on the trail. Definitely would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! As soon as we opened the front door we knew we’d found the perfect spot. Each room was full of personal touches and thoughtful additions that anticipated anything we might need. One thing really stood out that not even five star hotels provide - plenty of extra hooks to hang your stuff on, in both the bedroom and the bathroom! Seems small but is very helpful when traveling. We loved the scenic views, helpful info for hikes, restaurants and local lore. Already can’t wait to visit again!

My husband and I loved the cabin. It was very comfy and we appreciated all of the extras provided by the host! The outdoor space was wonderful. We enjoyed the firepit (and S'mores!), the trail to the pond, and wildlife watching. Thanks for the food for humans, deer, and birds - what a bonus :) We also enjoyed all of the Mothman memorabilia as well. I think maybe we spotted Mothman over at the edge of the woods one night at dusk! Thanks for a fantastic stay - we'd love to come back.

The best rental yet !

This cabin was all it advertised and more. Never have stayed anywhere with as many amenities. The setting was beautiful and quiet and relaxing. Close to town but in the countryside. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting some time away from it all.

Slice of Heaven

My husband and I can't express how happy and pleased we were with our stay at the cabin! So many thoughtful touches! I won't spoil any fun surprises, but you can tell that a lot of thought, time, energy and love went in to decorating, preparing, and pleasing guests! We had such a relaxing time, and loved waking up and seeing what birds were visiting the feeders that morning! Beautiful cabin, warm and cozy, very inviting and such a pleasure to visit! Thank you for sharing your home with us! And I believe the mothballs made me spit out my coffee when I saw them! What a great sense of humor! Thank you again for our magical getaway!

Frazier's Cabin

The photos really don't do this property justice. It is a serene, rustic cabin with pastoral views. The host goes above and beyond with the available amenities. Very responsive too. We really could have brought a lot less with us. A short drive to downtown Point Pleasant & all the local sites. Nice to come back to grilling up some dinner & relaxing by the fire pit. Would definitely stay again.

Perfection!

This cabin is perfect! Quiet, peaceful and super clean. It was fully stocked with everything anyone could need and also coveniently located close to town. Communication from the owner was fantastic! I'm a big Mothman/cryptid fan so I absolutely loved all the decor.

Beautiful Cabin Retreat

The cabin was absolutely adorable. The space was kept very clean and the provided amenities were unexpected but such a lovely surprise. The cabin had everything you'd need for a nice little retreat with a partner.

Relaxing time in the country

Just what we wanted, a relaxing time to read and not much else. The location was perfect, close to town but not too close. Sitting on the back deck in the morning watching the birds was so nice.

A slice of Heaven and absolutely PERFECT!

Our stay was more than we could ever have imagined! We enjoyed the safe trail behind the cabin, cocktails next to the cozy fire, as well as the beautiful view watching wildlife and the peacefulness of nature! The host insured we had more than we needed and much much more. It felt like a slice of Heaven! We will definitely be returning!
