Creekside is a little piece of heaven located on Racoon Creek in Gallia County Ohio about two miles from the Ohio River with River access. When you stay with us you will enjoy seeing natures beauty. Fishing and kayaking are right in your backyard. If you don't feel adventurous you can relax in our hot tub, play games, play pool, or enjoy your favorite TV show. You will feel like a chef with the extremely well stocked kitchen and smoker grill. Spend your evenings rocking on our large deck.

The house was better than the photos can depict, and was a perfect fit for our big family. Plenty of games and activities for the kids were provided, and the pool table, hot tub, smoker, and multiple large TVs kept the adults happy and well occupied. Kelly, our host, was exceptional, and communication was always prompt and direct. We would happily stay here again, and can't recommend Creekside highly enough.

Creekside was a lovely experience. The owner provided several extra touches to make our stay comfortable and inviting. The house lived up to everything promised and more. It was our first VRBO experience. We had a great time and were very pleased to stay there.

The pictures dont do it justice. The place is AMAZING. I had packed things I thought I might need but nope she had it all. Like beach towels and all the kitchen items you could possibly need. Every time I messaged the host she got back to me within minutes. Will definitely be back.

Great Stay! Loved everything!

Its a great drive thru the winding mountain road to get there. It takes you around a trailer park to get to the house (a bit concerning at first). The house was perfect for our family, plenty of yard to play in and house to enjoy. The host was always receptive and a pleasure to deal with. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

This property is perfect! We had a great time with our best friends for my husband’s birthday, fishing and kayaking right on the property was perfect. Check in was seamless and the host is the best! She was super communicative and very accommodating, answered all my questions quickly. The home is beautiful and I had no problem cooking in the fully appointed kitchen! We had a great time watching the wildlife. Short trip to the Mothman museum which was awesome as well! Would love to return some day, best trip ever.

Tranquility; luxury; beautiful; birders would love this

We loved the location out in nature on a creek. We made a bonn fire. Perfect for a 3 and 5 year old to play inside and out. The windows were incredible - spacious. Perfect for 2 families - 2 bedrooms upstairs with bath and 2 bedrooms downstairs with bath. We would stay again!

Weekend Trip

We needed to be in Gallipolis for a funeral, unfortunately, but this place made the weekend as enjoyable as it could be. It allowed our family, plus the in-laws, to share a quiet, easy to get to spot, together. I highly recommend it. Everything felt like it was brand new, super clean and and the decor was extremely inviting. The kids loved playing pool and the adults enjoyed the view out the huge windows in the back. Because of the size, this is a great spot for large families, or creating holiday memories with extended family. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Thanks for sharing you awesome place with our family!

Absolutely impeccable!

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at and I just can't say enough good things about it. The host is spectacular, very quickly responsive and very kind! We had freshly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us, corn to feed the squirrels and and an exceptionally clean house! We were in town for a family funeral and this house was over and above what we expected. Large bedrooms, huge kitchen and living room, huge bathrooms and every amenity you could want. The views were exceptional! I can't recommend this place enough! 10/10

Our creekside stay

Everything was good. Only complaint would be the patio set outside on the patio was wet. The cushions were left out and completely soaked. So we were unable to enjoy the out side deck . We would suggest getting a deck box for the cushions to keep them out of the weateher

Thank you for letting me know about the cushions. They are normally left under the roofed part of the deck when I am expecting rain and we were not expecting it to rain. Unfortunately it had already rained before I could get back from work to move them. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Peaceful View

We stayed here for a family funeral in Gallipolis and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house is clean, well-kept, and overlooks beautiful Raccoon Creek. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to cook in. Two main-floor bedrooms were great for those who can’t do stairs, and there were plenty of linens. The large living room windows made the space feel open and peaceful.The hot tub was very clean and a nice bonus. The neighborhood is quiet, though a few surrounding areas are less well-kept. The only small suggestion would be to add one more chair in the living room and a handrail near the entrance.Kelly was wonderful—quick to respond and fixed a booking error I made with no trouble. We’d love to come back when we can stay longer. Highly recommend and would definitely rent again.

Absolutely Lovely!

When I entered the front door, I was amazed. Not only was this home beautiful, it was also decorated throughout with Christmas decorations! This home is tastefully decorated, and we all felt right at home. The kitchen was the most well-equipped I have ever experienced. Each bedroom, bathroom, and living room was beautifully decorated. The laundry room was even decorated with touches of Christmas! It’s quite evident that a lot of thought, time, and effort have gone into this lovely home. If I’m ever in this area, I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again. The host, Miss Kelly, promptly answered any questions I had. She’s extremely friendly, and happy to help at any time. I have booked several homes, and this one was, by far, the BEST!

Peace Among Chaos

Creekside was just as advertised. My family, with kids (13, 5, 4), stayed for 5 nights in early January. The location was perfect- off the beaten path, but not too far from town. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to not need to venture out during your stay. I loved the view of Raccoon Creek from the main windows and deck. Even in the cold, my kids were big fans of the tire swing behind the house. The house was beautifully decorated for winter. Everything was put together with the guests in mind. The only thing I would note, not as a negative but as a FYI for future renters, we use Verizon for cell service and there was zero service in or around the house, but the WiFi was strong the entire stay so it wasn’t an issue for us. Check-out procedure was easier than I have ever had at another rental. All information for house, local area, and check-out was neatly organized in a binder that was easy to spot in the kitchen at check-in. We would 100% recommend to others and stay again ourselves!

Absolutely beautiful property. Had a wonderful time spending the 4th of July weekend with family. More than enough room for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and the host was very accommodating and responsive. Will definitely be staying here again.
