The Moorings, next door to Sportsman Marina is one of Orange Beach's Premier Luxury Condominiums. On marina property is also an authentic Tiki Bar.
We like to rent to those that will treat our places as if it were their own. This condominium is family friendly.

This is an awesome, two bedroom, two and 1/2 bath condominium on the Bay in Orange Beach at The Moorings. It is professionally decorated. This is a huge 1600-square-foot unit with an additional 300 square feet of covered balcony on the top, penthouse floor. It has 9-foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows across the back of the unit and skylights.

This condominium is the largest 2 bedroom floor plan in The Moorings. Only 4 other units are this big. It has a great view of the pool area as well as Terry Cove and Robinson Island (the most active area of coastal Alabama) and the Gulf of Mexico.

It is directly next door to the area's authentic Tiki Bar, Hang out by the one-acre pool area or next to the fireplace in the condominium. Watch TV on a 45-inch LCD. The kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counters, premium utensils and hardwood cabinets.

Take in the boats going by while you read your favorite book on the huge balcony. You can bring your boat and rent a designated slip at the Marina next door. It will be right out your back door. . There is a small charge to store your trailer at the marina next door. THERE IS NO TRAILER PARKING AT THE CONDO.

Sound like a great vacation? It will be if you rent this condominium for the week. If you decide to stay at The Moorings, you will come back year after year.

This property is managed by Coastal Rental Group. We have office location along the Alabama gulf coast and are available to service our guests at a moment’s notice. We welcome you to come and visit our beautiful coastline.

The Moorings condominiums Rules and Regulations require a "weekly rental" minimum.

MINIMUM age to rent is 25.

We had a wonderful time, the views are very nice. Found the unit very comfortable. Everyone we met in the complex was really nice, even made a friend or 2. Host was very responsive when we had a few questions. Very easy getting in/out of complex and unit. Would stay there again. The weather even cooperated.

Wonderful Stay

Incredible Value!

This property was exactly as described, and a perfect fit for our family. Super quiet neighborhood, centrally located, and a beautiful view. The pool was excellent, and our vacation was just perfect!

Pleasant stay

Our stay at the Moorings was awesome. The condo was the perfect size and was stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the pool. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony at night looking out at the ocean. It was very peaceful and calming. If we decide to revisit we will definitely rent this condo again.

Super spacious for 4 adults and 1 child. Awesome view of the marina. Close enough to access the beach far enough to not be around the beach crowd and traffic. Would definitely book again

Comfortable and convenient.

If being right on the beach isn’t your top priority, this is a wonderful unit. The view of the intracoastal is very nice and the quality and space of the unit far exceeds pricier units on the beach.

Magnificent View!

What a great place to stay. The condo is beautiful and you can’t ask for a better view from the living room, master and the great covered patio! We were there two weeks and will definitely stay in this condo again. The pool and other amenities are fantastic. The beaches and restaurants are very near by. Everything was wonderful, can’t wait to return! Valerie was in touch with us the morning we were to arrive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful condo beautiful view beautiful experiance

This is a luxury condo in excellent condition in a beautiful location. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The view from the balcony is a picture postcard. We loved sitting out there for coffee or just to relax. Any little problems were dealt with quickly and cheerfully by the agent. We loved our stay and hope to come here again. Dave Caskey.

Beautiful condo perfect for relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at this large 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo at the Moorings. It was our first visit to OBA. We took our 2 kids for spring break. The 2nd bedroom had 2 twin beds so perfect for them. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it. We visited the restaurant and the tiki bar next door. The beach was a short drive away as were many great restaurants. The condo was quiet overall.

The place was not not as advertised wish I had known that the hurricane destroyed all the boat ramps

The TVs in both bedrooms did not work, fireplace did not work, dishwasher was broke. I had told the manager about all of these things and all she said was happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, this area received extensive damage from Hurricane Sally. Every dock was wiped out. TV's are working fine , we do not light pilots in fireplaces until it gets cold (it was 75-80 degrees) and the dishwasher, was in fact broke, a new one has been installed.

The property was very nice. Large and not crowded! The rooms were spacious. Master bath rocked!!! Appliances were adequate but needed updated pans and cooking sheets. The view is wonderful. The doors going out to the deck are very hard to open. Maybe a bit of graphite or WD-40 might make them open easier. overall the stay was quite nice. The response from Vickie Miller was fast and concise. Could use more Disabled / Handicapped Driver spots. They only have 2 there and you have to fight to get them.

Beautiful Week

We enjoyed our stay at the Moorings. Valerie was quick to respond to our needs even though she was on vacation herself. The condo is nicely located and the view is breathe taking! We enjoyed watching the Sportsman ( next door) bring boats out on fork lifts. Very entertaining. Though there is an additional ice machine in the pictures it does not work, but the refrigerator made enough for our needs. The pool is nice and not over crowded, but does not supply umbrellas so we had to purchase one at Surf Style. The condo is very clean, but be sure to bring paper goods as the plates, cups and forks are limited. Finally, pots and pans are plentiful but the sheet pans really need to be replaced. Despite the minor issues we had, it was a great week in a great location. Thank you Valerie and Billy for taking care of our issues.

I would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation . The views were awesome . It’s a fantastic location . The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The property manager was also outstanding as far as communication .

Always wonderful

We love this condo and the moorings in general. This year was a little less enjoyable due to the construction/repairs that started every morning of our stay before 7:00 am. But that isn’t the owners fault…just par for the course as they work feverishly to clean up after the hurricane and storms.

Moorings were performing roof repairs early mornings and a crane partially blocked our view. But, Valerie, the property manager helped us to deal with the inconveniences. Otherwise , the property was great.

We love Orange Beach, AL. It is the Ft. Lauderdale of north Florida. There are canals throughout most of our neighborhoods and fishing abounds in shore and offshore. If you enjoy boating this is a wonderful place to live and visit. Our restaurants and our entertainment are second to none, and the Wharf is only 5 miles up the road. It has headline concerts, theaters, tons of shops and restaurants. It seems that Orange beach has more restaurants per resident than any other place in America. Every variety of food at every price level is available in Orange Beach. Of course the 30 or so sea food restaurants are the most popular. Last but not least, our beautiful beaches. There is more unspoiled beaches in orange beach than you could get to in a month. Our white quartz sand is so clean that it squeaks when you walk on it. Finally, Pensacola and Naval Air Station is only a ½ hour away. The Naval Aviation Museum is the finest in the country. (It’s great for a rainy day at the beach) Come down to Orange Beach and experience why we moved here full time.

This is a low density condo that is surrounded by activity yet it is church mouse quiet at night. The pool is 1st class. The marina is active. There are very few renters in this complex. The lights of the bay and the live music that permeates the air in early evenings from the restaurants patio deck next door makes this a beach vacation to remember.
