--WHY THE NAME SALT & LIGHT--
Salt & Light Vacations is a Christian, family operated, vacation rental in Panama City Beach, Florida, which bases its business and practices by living out Matthew 5:13-16 in which Jesus told His followers to be Salt and Light to the earth. We want to reflect Jesus in everything we do and to reflect Him to every guest that stays at our property. You can be certain you are booking with owners that are honest and trustworthy. It is a ministry of ours to make sure you have a wonderful experience. So, when you book with us you can be certain that you know what you are getting.

How did we decide to begin Salt & Light Vacations? Well, our family loves the SALT water, the LIGHT of the sun, and we have been going to Panama City Beach all of our lives and we love it! We are a family that God has called to serve His Church in full time ministry as Pastor and family. So, in the fall of 2019 we bought a little piece of Panama City Beach for our family to enjoy a few weeks a year but also to share with others through short term rentals to bless other families with a Christian operated, affordable, clean, family friendly vacation to relax in God’s Creation while building memories that will last for a lifetime! Then in Sept 2021 we bought this unit right next door. You are sure to love Salt & Light so much that you will want to come back year after year!

So, our mission is to "let our light shine" so that you can see Jesus in us!

Master Bedroom: King Bed with memory foam mattress, flat screen tv, balcony, and on suite bath.
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed with pillow top mattress and Twin over full bunk beds with memory foam mattresses.
Bathrooms: 1 full baths and a half bath
Living Room: 2 Sofas, recliner, flat screen smart tv, and wifi.
Kitchen: Stainless Appliances, granite countertops, gas stove, and fully furnished to prepare meals.
Laundry: Full size washer and dryer.

After a day in the sun and the sand, find relief from the elements in the spacious living room. Complete with a flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, & 2 Sofas which make the living room a perfect location for the whole family to enjoy with all the comforts of home.

If you don’t want to enjoy one of PCB’s wonderful restaurants, then stay home for the evening and prepare a family meal in the fully updated and furnished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, or grill a feast out on the back patio on the gas grill.

After a full day of playing in the water and all of the attractions in Panama City Beach, retire to the bedrooms for a restful night on comfortable beds and with new mattresses.

Each day of your vacation you will enjoy the amenities at Gulf Highlands Resort which includes the most beautiful beach, 11 pools, 4 tennis courts, miniature golf, shuffleboard courts, a lake and canal to fish for bream, bass, and catfish (no permit or license required), and an exercise room which will all provide you with an unforgettable vacation.

Ask about our Golf Cart rental for use on the property during your stay! While the walk to the beach is only 7 minutes, you will really enjoy riding around the property in the golf cart parked in front of the unit. The golf cart is available only to be used on Gulf Highlands Resort property.

For an unforgettable day, take a 7 minute walk from the unit and across the street from the resort complex (or a 1 minute golf cart ride) to the beautiful Beach House Restaurant overlooking the resort’s beachfront pool and walk down the resort beach access to the always beautiful Panama City Beach. Whether you choose to sunbathe, swim, parasail, or rent a jet ski, this sandy shore is sure to provide your family with many memories!

Venture into town after sunset and experience many opportunities for family fun on the Panama City Beach strip, Pier Park, restaurants, or just go next door to Rockit Lanes for bowling, the arcade, or roller skating.

Enjoy a fishing trip out into the Gulf of Mexico with a deep-sea fishing excursion just 10 minutes from the property. Check out the shark fishing trip where you can catch large sharks right off the beach with Off The Beach Shark Fishing Trips (search Facebook).

Spend the day with your family at Shipwreck Island Waterpark just 2 minutes from the complex. This park will provide you with an unforgettable day riding water slides or playing in the wave pool.

Be sure to leave some room in your suitcase for all of the clothes you're sure to purchase at Pier Park. Home to high-end fashion, delicious dining, and family entertainment, this 9,000-square-foot shopping center sits just 5 miles from the property and provides fun for the whole family.

Policies:
- No smoking or vaping inside unit
- No pets allowed (owners have allergies to animals so their is zero tolerance to this rule). Failure to follow these rules will result in immediate eviction without a refund and a $500 fee will be imposed to have the unit professionally cleane
- No events, parties or large gatherings
- Must be at least 23 years old to book
- Additional cleaning fees, damage insurance, and 13% lodging taxes will apply to rentals
