This remodeled 1 bedroom air conditioned unit has just been renovated and is perfect for you to relax. Located near the "Triangle" famous for its restaurants, lively bars, gift shops; you'll be able to walk to nearby grocery stores, shopping, and parks. The beach is wonderful for taking classes to learn how to surf, play sand volleyball, or watch the amazing sunsets. Relax after a day at the beach or once you're done surfing and then walk to dinner or cook your own. This is the perfect unit for you and includes a window AC and television in the living room. Relax by the pool and enjoy the wonderful sunset in the evening.

Kalama Terrace is located in beautiful South Maui where rain is a rarity - almost assuring you of a warm, sunny vacation. We're only a 30 minute drive from the airport so within a very short time from your arrival on Maui, you can be beach strolling, sunning, swimming and just enjoying the tropical setting of our beautiful island home. And, since 'our' beach faces the western horizon, you will enjoy some of the most memorable, awe-inspiring sunsets you will see anywhere.

We provide all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Our condo has a fully stocked Kitchen, Bathroom with shower, Cal King bed, Full sized sofa, all linens, A/C, a large flat screen TV, high speed WiFi and Ethernet. We also provide a hair dryer, curling iron, iron & ironing board, and a 'Maui Revealed' book to help you plan your days' adventures.

Our complex is a short 2 block scenic walk south to Charley Young Beach, one of the nicest beaches on Maui for swimming, sunning or snorkeling with an ambiance of old Hawaii. Adjoining Charley Young to the south is Kamaole I Beach which has a volley ball court, BBQ grills and a long stretch of sandy strolling beach, then continuing south are Kamaole II and III. All have lifeguards on duty during the day. To make your beach trips more enjoyable, there are beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels awaiting your use in the unit. Sorry no snorkeling gear.

Absolutely loved this location and the host was responsive and helpful from the point of booking until check out. The location was ideal, within a block of the beach and a few blocks from restaurants and shops. The beach supplies were so useful and convenient, we visited a new beach everyday. The pool and bbq area also provided a wonderful place for our family to hang out at. Would love to stay here again!

We had a great time

The property has a perfect location. Close to the beach, stores, food trucks place. It offers everything you need kitchen and big fridge. They have beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella and welcome package snacks and sweets.The one suggestion we have is a better mattress and cotton sheets ( but we are spoilt) Thank you

Nothing fancy, but practical and perfect

We enjoyed out stay. 5 min walk to great beach and the stores. Loved the nearby municipal park. Pool was sparkling clear and always empty. Place was just what we wanted.

Great Neighborhood!

We loved the pool and the remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The neighborhood and neighbors were fantastic. The only improvement I would recommend would be extra linens for couch sleeping.

Our stay was OK, not great. I had higher expectations for the apartment based on the photos, price, and rating on VRBO. The good points were an updated kitchen, beach items, nice pool and BBQ, and location walkable to groceries, food trucks, and the beach. The bathroom renovation needs to be completed, and the rest of the unit needs updating. Kitchen amenities were mixed: good appliances but not enough cups, containers, etc. The unit is in need of a deep cleaning and/or painting. There were splatters in the kitchen, dirty base boards and grime in lots of places. A handful of window louvers didn’t work properly. Communication with the management company was mediocre; they never got back to me when the hot water went out one morning. Overall, an OK space, but it falls short of what I expected, particularly for what I paid.

Condo was clean with kitchen and bathroom updates. 5 minute drive to the beach. We had a small maintenance issue but they came shortly after and got it fixed for us.

It was okay. Replacing the siding outside my unit which would have been nice to know. The kitchen and bathroom were remodeled but could update the bedroom and living room. Really old furniture.

Great location

Wish there were cleaning supplies left since we stayed for 3 weeks. No way to clean the floors except sweeping. Also, only came with starter pack of dishwasher soap, trash bags, etc. should have been replenished for loner than 1 week stay.

Love this condo complex

Kalama Terrace is my favorite place to stay on island and this condo unit was great. At the end of the building on the first floor so it was quiet easy to get to from the parking lot. Well appointed with the basics. Property management was fantastic! Allowed for a little bit early check in and quickly replaced the coffee maker after I dropped the first one and busted the carafe. This location is perfect for walkability in Kihei and a great spot for sunrise walks on the beach.

We liked the new appliances,. Didn’t like the inconvenience of the air conditioner and its location. When we arrived we had to go through much trial and error to get it working. We only had one night table, two would be more convenient. An heated pool would be preferred. Cleanliness was below par. The price was higher than what we expected for what we got.

Condo near the Cove

The condo was located a short walk to The Cove, which was convenient! The kitchen boasted a gas stove with griddle, so I was looking forward to cooking some dinners. But unfortunately there were no baking dishes or cookie sheet pans, measuring spoons & cups. There also was no mop or dust pan. The management company delivered a suboptimal dust pan and a swifter mop with the refills but did not address the kitchen items, stating those items were up to the owner to supply. The dresser drawers were hard to open and looked like the fronts were coming loose from the drawer. The bed was comfortable as was the couch with two recliners. The management company did not seem interested in addressing my requests. I've stayed in many VRBOs that needed a few items and they always asked me to get what I needed and submit the receipt for reimbursement, but not this management company.

Great location

Close to the beaches, restaurants, and other shops in Kihei. Our check-in was straightforward. WiFi speed was good. The room was airy and well lit, and all the appliances worked well. Looks like the room is just being vacuumed between stays because the tile floor was sticky to bare feet. Parking was a little bit of a squeeze since the assigned spot is next to a short wall. Had a coffeemaker, toaster, and other essential items to do basic cooking, but not a fully stocked kitchen since it lacks basic supplies. They provide only the starter pack for bath and kitchen supplies, and you need to buy additional items. Communication could definitely improved. The laundry room is open between 8am and 9pm only. Once we had to wait till 9:15pm to finish the dryer cycle, but someone locked the laundry room in the meantime; we had to wait till the next morning to get our clothes. One day the laundry room wasn't open till 9:15am. Overall our stay was ok but certainly they could do more to improve.
