Just Reduced Value Season! 3rd Floor Unit Steps from the Beach

The best of Kihei Akahi - Quiet 3rd floor unit in the C Building with views of Mt. Haleakala, and the garden from the lanai. Walk across the street to Kamaole Beach Park II for excellent swimming, snorkeling with occasional sea turtles, or strolling the beach. There are two on-site swimming pools, two BBQ areas, a tennis court (rackets & balls available to borrow at office), and the grounds are a botanical garden with abundant flowers and fruit trees.

This one bedroom/one bathroom condo can sleep up to four guests with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a sofa bed in the air conditioned living room. The living room opens up to a lanai with gorgeous ocean, garden, and mountain views. In the winter keep an eye out for humpback whales breaching and spouting as they pass by.

The kitchen and bathroom were remodeled in 2008. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the cooking utensils you will need. The in-unit washer/dryer is convenient for washing beach towels or clothes. The unit is also stocked with beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie board, cooler, sand toys, etc.), guide books, novels, games, and more. There is free private WiFi in the condo as well as a TV and DVD player for in-unit entertainment.

During these covid 19 times we are keeping the unit empty for 1 day in between check-ins and we have added extra cleaning time.

My partner and I loved this condo. The condo was clean and spacious and in an ideal location - close to beaches and shops. The host was kind and responsive. We would stay here again!

Great little condo

If your a couple or traveling alone its great little condo stocked with everything youll need for your stay and the beach is located right off the property driveway and kihei has all the amenities that maui has to offer

Overall the stay was amazing. I will be booking this place again! Bed was comfy, plenty of fans provided so I didn’t use the AC, and beach essentials! The lanai was perfect too overlooking the garden.

October vacation

Very nice vacation. The bedroom was plenty warm, but there were fans that we were able to use. Would recommend this place!!

Excellent lodging, location.

Excellent location, minutes walk across monitored cross walk to beach, restaurants, dive shops. Short drive to amazing snorkeling. Beautiful grounds, friendly helpful staff. Well equipped for cooking, relaxing, including beach chairs, etc. Will book again.

Great stay for a family

Staying in Condo C311 was very convenient. Safe and calm area, two pools which the kids enjoyed very much and walking distance to the beach. Everything as described in the listing and the kids could sleep well on the sofabed. However for adults it might not be stable enough.

Nice host, place, and location

The place and the location are very nice and convenient. Natalie, who manages the property, is the best! She replies promptly and does her best to accommodate all reasonable requests. We were able to extend our stay at a short notice. Kitchen is well equipped. There are lots of towels. There are two beach chairs and other equipment. The air conditioner in the living room and a fan on the ceiling in the bedroom help to feel comfortable.

Business and pleasure

This spot was perfect for our visit. Excellent location by Kam II in Kihei. The property is well-kept, and the condo met our needs. Many, many more pluses than minuses. Only two minuses are that the A/C doesn't really get into the bedroom, but there were 4 fans in the bedroom that did help keep the room cool for sleeping; and then also the dishwasher was not in working order, but we didn't really care about that. Overall, very pleasant stay!

It was the perfect location

The condo grounds are beautiful. The condo matches the pictures, was clean and plenty of space for two. Loved the balcony and being able to walk to the beach for a daily swim. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was plenty of beach paraphernalia. You can walk to everything you would need. Perfect for us, thank you

Great Location!

We stayed here for the week and it was an amazing location. Central to everything. Lots of things walkable including many beaches. The grounds are very clean and both pools are nice. Nothing extravagant but does the trick for early morning swims before the day. The unit had some things (2 beach chairs, some umbrellas, a few toys, a couple snorkel equipment) which was nice. The unit is nice and clean. One suggestion would be to get more pillows (maybe fluffier ones too) and maybe a wagon to take the beach things. Another suggestion would be a scrubber/sponge to clean the dishes. They provided a few garbage bags and toilet paper but if there was more people staying it wouldn’t have been enough for the week. The host was responsive before the stay even happened but we didn’t need to reach them during the stay but I imagine it wouldn’t have been an issue. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Perfect Stay

I loved the condo and location. Everything was so beautiful. I was able to walk to the beach with my coffee every morning to catch the sunrise. Restaurants were walking distance. The condo was very cozy and had a hawaii feel to it. I loved hearing the roosters and birds every day. It was quiet and just serene. The only thing I would say is the linens were not clean. The sofa bed couch linens had some bad stains and the pillows n the bedroom were soiled and smelled a little. I just took time and washed everything and it was ok. Loved that everything was stocked it felt line a home away from home! Thank you

Prime location and well equipped. No AC in bedroom

The unit is conveniently located in Building C at Kihei Akahi. It overlooks a quiet courtyard and is less than a 5 minute walk to beach 2. We spent quite a bit of time looking around at different units/complexes while we were in town and are confident that this unit is one of the best spots in the area. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella were a nice touch. Only complaint is that there is no AC in the bedroom. That being said, the unit is well equipped with fans so we were able to keep the bedroom bearable by using a series of fans to blow cold air in from the living room.

Great place, great location!

This place is just great! It started with... Communication with the host, when I had some questions. They were answered in a matter on minutes! It was amazing! Thank you, Natalie! I was a bit apprehensive about the requirement to check in in the office...but once I've done that, it all came out only positive. The lady at the reception gave us so many useful tips, and such good vibe - waw! The property itself has a pool and BBQ. Perhaps other amenities, too, pool and BBW was all we needed :) It's right across Kamaole II - one of the most popular beaches. I remember last time I wanted to visit this beach, finding parking was an adventure in itself. Here - you don't have to worry about any of it, just cross Kihei rd, and you are there! The condo is very well decorated, comfy, good bed, and linens are excellent. Plenty of towels, shower gel and shampoo provided, laundry in the unit, dishwasher, BLENDER!! (which we actually never used this time :-D - used bars instead) - all there. I don't even mention dishes, utensils, supernice drink glassed etc :) AC in the living room, but in Labor Day time we did not have to use it, it was nice as it is. What was unexpected (not mentioned in the ad) and very welcome surprise - there are beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards and snorkeling stuff!!! (reached 1500char limit) All in all,it's one of our best stays in Maui, and next time we are on this island, I will try to book this unit again. Mahalo for everything, Natalie! Best, Evgeny

My wife and I live an hour north of San Francisco near the coast on a family farm. We have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren so far (our son and grandson are pictured on the surfboard just off Kamaole Beach across the street from the condo). I am a general contractor and my wife works at our local community clinic. She also grows a variety of fruit which she makes into jam and sells to local stores. We make it down to Kihei 1 to 3 times a year and have had some great family vacations.

We first visited Maui on our honeymoon in 1974 and have enjoyed going back over the years. When looking to buy a condo we rented a unit in Kihei Akahi and decided it was the best complex for us - with convenient access to a family-friendly beach, beautiful grounds, and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.
