Beautiful home! Very secluded and peaceful, while still being quick to get to into town or to see the sights (Rushmore, Crazy Horse, etc.). The back deck has quiet peaceful views in both the morning and evening, with plenty of seating, and everything we needed to make our trip wonderful. My kids loved the toys and set up in the basement - which kept the rest of us happy as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, comfortable home equipped with everything we needed. We loved the views and particularly enjoyed star gazing on the deck. It was quiet and peaceful deep in the hills, yet close enough to the historic sites we travrled to see.

Oh, my goodness!!! This place has to be the nicest place in Custer. Wow! There was a Scottish Highlander that came up to fence, the kids actually got to pet it. The house is absolutely spectacular; it was clean, comfortable, and had loads of seating for everyone. You won't be sorry if you rent out this place.

The space was phenomenal for our family. It was close to Custer with a shorter remote drive which really authenticated your stay in the Hills. Centrally located from so many things to do.... Sylvan Lake, Faces, Crazyhorse, Wildlife Loop, Hill City and Custwr to name a few.

The property and house was beautiful. Our grandkids enjoyed catching and releasing fish from the pond. The host responded promptly to our questions and gave us great ideas of where to visit in the area.

This is a very beautiful custom cabin. It is located in a peaceful area that truly showcases the beauty of the Blackhills. The interior of the cabin is quite spacious and very well maintained. We cooked our own meals and there was everything we needed available. Everything was just perfect. There is so much to experience nearby. Custer State Park is a must see treasure.

The house was absolutely beautiful, and we truly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. We especially loved the pond and paddle boat, where we caught quite a few little fish. The views of the wildlife and livestock were fabulous and made the stay feel extra special.The toys in the basement were a huge hit with our young kids and provided plenty of entertainment. Overall, it felt like we were staying at a grandparent’s house—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need for the whole family. We absolutely loved our stay and it was perfect for our whole extended family!

This was a beautiful place to share with our kids and grandkids. Every family grouping had their own bathroom. We all enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. The dining table fit all 10 of us very comfortably. Lots of extras in the kitchen. All slept well in the peace and quiet and enjoyed the phenomenal view of the stars from the deck. It seems so off the beaten path but it was yet close enough to nearby tourist activities. Joy was easy to reach and addressed our slight issue quickly. We felt so blessed to have this home available for our use!

What a beautiful and relaxing place! The cabin is amazing. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The peaceful atmosphere and quiet environment was perfect for relaxing after spending a busy day in the Black Hills. Our hosts were easy to contact and responded in a timely manner when we needed anything, All information about the property was concise and informative. The night sky was spectacular. We even saw the Milky Way with the naked eye! The grandkids did not want to leave. We had a memorable and fantastic time!!

I can’t say enough good things about this property or the hosts! Wow! Communication was easy and super fast - they responded rapid quick and were very attentive! The property is amazing. We made some great memories with my kids and my parents (the grandkids!). My dad has a type of terminal cancer and we are cherishing these moments with him and with the grandkids. It was very special - we will forever hold the memories made at this place in our hearts!
