The three levels make it great for couples, families or singles.
The kitchen is stocked with all cooking necessities and there are games for everyone to enjoy.
Surrounded by the woods and wildlife of Tallulah Gorge State Park, this is a hidden gem, enjoy the back porches or sit outside by the fire pit. A great place to make memories.

The cottage is beautiful and cozy. The home is well-kept and is stocked with all the little things you forget you need while you’re away. The area is gorgeous, and the hosts went above and beyond by putting up a Christmas tree and decorations, which made the experience so much more memorable and exciting for the children.

Our host was very communicative before and during our stay, which was appreciated! The suggestions for restaurants in Clayton were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our hikes in Tallulah Gorge and Angel Falls. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the back porch, and fire pit. There was room for our 4 teenagers and we loved the board games at the home. Thank you!

The kitchen was fully equipped and had extra items like spices and keurig pods to get us through the first night and day so we could run to the store. We arrived late in the night and the lights were on and it was so well decorated that it felt like home. Everything was super clean and the beds and sofa were comfortable. They had games and books and logs for an outside fire. Host was so friendly and helpful. It couldn’t have been a more perfect visit!

Nice weekend hideout

My family enjoyed the stay at the cottage and Wendy was a great host - friendly and responsive. The house was clean, with a supplied kitchen, has a wonderful screened patio. It’s super close to the entrance of Tallulah Falls park, right next to the park’s camp site. The dirt road in front of the house was a bit rough but didn’t impact our overall experience.

Ideal rental property

The cottage is homey, tastefully decorated and beds are comfortable. Location is ideal for enjoying Tallulah Falls and Clayton for shopping and eating

Wendy is Amazing.

We have rented from Wendy several times and always been an awesome experience. Not only is the place amazing. She is one of the sweetest people i have rented from. She checked on us the day after checking in just to make sure we didnt need anything. I really look forward to staying at their home.

MTN Getaway!

Ideal spot for a mountain weekend of adventure! The house was well-stocked, incredibly cozy, and offered ample space. Wendy’s communication was excellent. We’ll definitely be returning!

Fall Retreat

Home is immaculate and has a well supplied kitchen. Our group enjoyed the porch with beautiful views to the woods. We had a humorous display of many wild turkeys as they began roosting in the trees at sunset. Our group loved a day trip to the charming town of Clayton.

Amazing house near Tallulah Falls

We loved our stay here! The location is perfect- right around the corner from Tallulah Falls and a short drive to downtown Clayton. The house is beautiful and the owners communicated multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The screened-in back porch was perfect for relaxing.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I brought out three boys and stayed here for the weekend. The house was perfect, exactly as pictured, the property was nice and the location to the Tallulah falls was great for hiking. The owner, Wendy, texted me in advance of the weekend and stayed in touch during out stay to ensure we got there ok and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this home for a stay with friends or family!

Last minute getaway to the mountains

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tallulah Falls. Both nights we were there it rained, and it was like we were sitting in a treehouse watching it rain from the back screened porch. The house was as described, and we hope to return. I would highly recommend.

quiet place

This is a very nice house that is super close to beautiful Tallulah Gorge (lots of history, hiking, and beautiful views). It is very clean and has everything you need. I loved the fire place, back porch, and quiet. My kids loved the bunkbeds and snacks. The town of Clayton is super cute and fun to walk around, eat, and look at the fun shops. The owners are very nice and helpful if you have any questions or need anything. Thank you!

Amazing home!

Our company was doing some work in the area, so we rented the place for over a month. The owners were so easy to work with. We didnt know for sure how long the project was going to last and they were so helpful with being able to communicate with and extend the rental at last minute. Our employees raved about how relazing the home was especially having a long day. Perfect home for a group.

Didn't want to leave

We had such an amazing stay in Lakemont and the location was excellent. The Talluga Gorge is steps away and our white water rafting, waterfalls, swimming hole, and hikes were very close. Our host was amazing, to say the least, and Wendy was able to allow us to come a day early as we were running from Hurricane Debby! The screened-in patios were one of my favorite places to sit with my coffee and just breath in the fresh air. With my youngest daughter leaving for college this trip gave us the opportunity to be close, enjoy nature and spend great family time. We would love to stay again and again. Thank you for your hospitality and friendliness!

Amazing

5 star? More like 500 stars!!! The pictures & description of the cabin are way off- it is SO much better in person! And the giant bed (upstairs loft) was like sleeping on a marshmallow, so very comfy!- but everybody agreed the beds were all very comfortable. It was a great location to relax, catch up with friends and enjoy the stunning waterfalls & nature close by. I absolutely recommend to families, friends, groups and hope we can find the time to return!

Absolutely perfect

We had the the best short stay mini vacation at this cabin/cottage. The owners' communication was the best we've ever had. The cleanliness and just abundance of supplies were outstanding. The location was perfect for hiking, restraunts, and serenity. Our GPS was acting wacky and took us way too far down. The owner wasn't hesitant at all to call & stay on the phone with us until we made it safely. The home is absolutely perfect for families. I can't say enough good things about it. If you're looking for a great place in Tallulah falls, this is it!

Fall break

Loved the house. So much space for lots of folks. Quiet location, easy to get to if you don't have a stupid phone like me. Took us way off the route, was a little scary lol. If i had one complaint it would be having to take your own trash to the recycling center. We have stayed in several ab&b, most want the trash in containers on the property. We left way before the recycling center opened. So we were not sure what to do. Didn't like just having to leave it when instructions were to take it. Other than that very nice place. Wendy was great!!!

Fantastic Last Minute Retreat

I really wanted to write this review before the hustle and bustle of the office dimmed my vivid flashbacks of our time at the Tallaluah Falls Cottage! The location is the first win about this rental! So close to the State Park entrance, an amazing Coffee/ Tea Shoppe, so quiet, and peaceful. The property has the most efficient layout- SPACIOUS! My family of 5 slept comfortably and each of us with PRIVACY! My tween, and teen daughters enjoyed playing board games on the lovely porches and visiting with the horse across the road! The decor of the cottage makes you feel that you are literally walking into a mountain retreat/spa. It is rustic, yet with all the modern comforts, plus filled with love! The owners have provided EVERYTHING in the kitchen for a chef to use, as well as houshold products to clean up after yourselves. They have thought of everything. Communication with the owners was readily available and that was such a comfort since we planned this getaway in the 11th hour, and had a very narrow window of time all together. They were kind and very helpful!! I told my husband, we will definitely be back. We LOVED Tallalulah Gorge State Park, but felt at home in THIS Cottage!

Beautiful cottage like a second home

Wendy is an awesome host. She communicated regularly and gave us lots of tips and directions to get to the cottage. The cottage was spacious, charming and tastefully decorated. Lots of tiny thoughtful details added to make guests stay comfortable and pleasant. Loved the screened porches and sitting areas. Kids loved the firepit and making smores. The tallulah gorge hikes and fall colors were spectacular. Just be aware gps /google maps find the address but do noy swnd you to the cottage, it sends you on a winding path to get to tye interpretive center. Only follow the directions from wendy. When returning from clayton after dinner the gps swnt us on camp creek rd, and stone place and bad creek and landed us to a dead end in the middle of the forest. Very scary. Pitch dark. We had a hard time locating the viala acott circle and getting back using written directions. Gps finds the addres but it is not the cabin. Remember to always use jane yarn hurt to get up there. Other than that we had a mosy lovely stay and would recommend the property to all. Its 5 mins away from the gorge interpretive center if u follow the provided directions

Great Location and VERY clean! The cabin is on the same road as the State Park!

The cabin has everything you need and then some. Sitting on the back screen porch having morning coffee was so peaceful! We were only 30 minutes from my new favorite must see - Julip Farms Restaurant! This girls trip did not disappoint and neither did the cabin!!

A wonderful getaway with great attention to detail

We had an incredible time at this beautiful home celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and a last minute getaway before school began. We loved the warm, hospitable communication with the owners, the hominess of the cabin, the thoughtful goodie basket with snacks, coffee, etc. -we truly had everything we needed and more- it was so well-stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable and the back screen porch was so relaxing. Being greeted by the horse and cows across the drive was a bonus, as well! We also loved going into Clayton and celebrating at Fortify and also back for shopping and lunch at Universal Joint. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for sharing their warm, inviting home with us- we hope to be back for sure!
