We had a great stay at the Wright Spot while needing to be out of our home for repairs. The house was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. And the backyard was a hit with the kids and dogs. Would definitely recommend!

Wright Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great house to stay at. Very nicely kept and decorated. Nice back yard and close to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Parents weekend

We enjoy the property and it is the third time staying here. It is close to everything but far enough away to get a break from the crowds.

parent’s weekend bisitt

Our group of six adults had a great time staying at the Wright Spot. Close to the university and easy to get to. We really enjoyed the outdoor space for watching football by the fire pit. Perfect fall weekend!

Great carry for parents weekend in Tuscaloosa

The house was very clean and I’m a great location. Kimberly communicated very well with us. We would strongly recommend this property and stay here again.

Great stay

The home is exactly as described! We had plenty of room for our family. We especially enjoyed the covered outside patio. Management company immediately answered the questions we had regarding the television service. We had a couple issues and they were out almost immediately to fix them. Short and easy trip to campus. We would definitely stay again!

Basketball weekend

Rented the property to have family come from another school and visit my daughter at the University of Alabama and attend a basketball game. Fenced in yard provided privacy and space for the dog. Fire pit and seating outside was a nice gathering space at night to enjoy each others company.

Smell inside the house and lots of nats inside

Smelt like dog and urine inside. Nats inside the house. A few light bulbs out. House was nice and location was great. Needs more cooking supplies in the kitchen

Perfect for what we needed!!

We were only in town for the weekend to visit our daughter and go to a game. This house ended up being just over a mile from my daughter’s house which was an extremely pleasant surprise!! It was a little smaller than we expected but it worked well considering we weren’t there much. The back yard was perfect for the dogs other than the lack of grass which tracked so much dirt into the house. My younger daughter and nephew loved the big bunk beds and the park down the road. The neighborhood was a little run down but we didn’t have any issues with anyone. This property is super close to anywhere you need to go in Tuscaloosa.

I'm so glad you had a great stay, and that you ended up being very close to where your daughter lives! Unfortunately, since the yard is so heavily shaded, it's difficult to grow much grass, so pine straw is used instead. This can still be problematic with dogs, but it is great to have a fully fenced in yard as a trade off. This is an older neighborhood full of older people and younger graduate students. While it may come across as looking a little run down, it's a very safe neighborhood full of long term renters and owners. Everyone loves staying here because it's safe and close to campus. Come back again soon!

Cute and Cozy

The Wright Spot was definitely the right spot for us! This rental felt like home away from home with comfy furnishings, a well-appointed kitchen and a fun backyard. Great location close to campus in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with staff was superb!

Nice house. Good location

This house was nice. It was just what we needed. It is very close to the stadium and downtown Tuscaloosa. About 10 minutes away from pretty much anything you might need. I believe the listing says it sleeps 12. While this is technically true, I will say that you would have to be close to the other 11 people you were staying with. As the pictures show, there are two beds in every room (3 in the room with the bunk beds). The listing and photos are accurate on this note but I, personally, would not want to have that many people in this house. Perhaps for a group of close friends it would be perfect. The house was clean and well furnished.

I am so glad you had a great time and had no issues with the house. It's a bit disappointing to receive a 4 out of 5 stars just because you don't like that it sleeps 12 guests, and especially disappointing when you were only sleeping 4 guests during your stay. Nobody is required to put that many people in the house, but we have a LOT of family groups that enjoy the flexibility of the sleeping arrangements of this house, and they have children that easily sleep together. If you read the listing carefully it states that it sleeps 6 adults plus children. We hope you'll be back to stay with us again.
