Beautiful Home

The home was clean and perfect for our group of 7. The screened porch is awesome and the pool and dock were a great addition. Kitchen was nice and the common spaces were very comfortable.

This was a disastrous trip for us. The host was a terrible communicator. It would take days/weeks for him to respond. I should have cancelled before we arrived, but the home looked great online. Things are not always as they seem.This property was misrepresented and is not a safe place to stay.The front door handle was broken and falling off when we arrived. Two days before our arrival, we received a message that the stove was broken and there were hot plates arranged. There was never a stove in place and those hot plates had been there for quite some time. The downstairs bedrooms did not have curtains, only very thin sheers. Anyone from the road, driveway or porch could see straight in at night. We were too scared to sleep in those rooms. The one shade in the bedroom was broken and didn't cover the window all the way so anyone could look in. We only stayed long enough for us to find other accommodations when we weren't dealing with a funeral. I expect a lot better from a VRBO property.

Amazing!

We had an awesome girls trip at this house! Jason was beyond accommodating when we had delayed flights and needed a late check out. Communication was great whenever we needed anything, house was clean and listing was accurate! Pool is awesome, house is spacious. We’d love to return!

Beautiful sunrise and sunset! Our family enjoyed every minute at the home & the stunning river view!

Our family was looking for a beautiful place to be together and create memories! We are so so happy we picked this location. The home is very unique! It is a perfect place for a romantic getaway, or to enjoy your family and friends (which was our case)! Thank you for the great hospitality and we will definitely come again and will spread the word of this beautiful piece of paradise in the sunshine state!

We traveled to Fort Myers for the wedding of our daughter at a nearby venue called Casa Toscana.The rehearsal dinner was at The Luminary Hotel on the riverfront downtown.I think the house would have been even better if we had the time to enjoy kayaking or boating on the river.It was a good experience

Just okay

This house has great potential but needs some attention. First of all, it is NOT a 4 bedroom house. What they consider the 4th bedroom is the crow’s nest at the top of the house that is accessed by a very narrow spiral staircase and has 2 small daybeds. Only children could sleep up there, but it would not be safe to do so. Secondly, the house was not at all set up for long term renters. We had to ask for multiple everyday kitchen items (working toaster!) and ended up buying some ourselves. Had to ask for additional loungers by the pool (there was one). Had to ask for fan remotes that actually worked. Although the interior of the property was clean, the back lanai/porch area was filthy from top to bottom. Filthy curtains along one screened side - had to ask property manager to either have them cleaned or just take them down, they were that disgusting. Filthy tiled floor, filthy and worn indoor/outdoor area rugs, filthy and worn pulldown blinds along front of porch, filthy and worn cushions on soft seating. When my grandson wanted to look for shells along the edge of the property behind the seawall, there were dozens of rusty nails. All of these things should have been noticed and attended to by the property manager before our arrival. Instead we had to ask for every single thing, and in the end, were made to feel guilty because of the hurricane. (Curtains on porch were cleaned for us but rest of porch remained as we found it despite our complaint) Disappointing stay.

Comfortable view

We can’t say enough about how comfortable and bright this home was. We really thought we would miss a pool but we didn’t. We bought a little pop-up pool and use that to cool down if needed. The view was spectacular and it felt like being in a riverboat. We would stay again in the future even though the neighborhood is a bit mixed.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely riverside home! The property was well maintained (with exception of a few light bulbs needing to be replaced) we were close by all of our extended family in town to celebrate Gmas birthday! We will definitely be back~Thank you!!!

Originally from Michigan, we enjoy bringing our family to our waterfront vacation home as it's nice to relax as a family whilst still enjoying the romantic owner's suite. We love to bring our jetskis down on a trailer and explore the local islands of Sanibel/Captiva by jetski directly from the home, fish off the dock, take the kayaks out to watch the dolphins, grill out by the pool, and relax in the shade of the indoor/outdoor space which is fully screened. Cleanliness and guest satisfaction are our No.1 priorities, as we want you to enjoy the home as much as our family does!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

It's on the water, so we can get directly to the beaches and pull-up restaurants from the home by jetski/boat, or sometimes we take a 10 minute uber and enjoy the restaurants, bars and marina of the Ft Myers River District. The home is situated on a cul-de-sac so we find it's quiet with not many passing cars, which we like.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The driveway is huge, it fits up to 6 cars, the home was remodeled by an interior designer so it is light, bright, modern and extremely clean. The flooring is modern tile and natural hardwood. The owner's suite is a luxurious haven, taking up all of the 2nd floor, with it's top-of-the-line 4 poster bed, couples' multi-directional & rain showers, and its own private patio for morning coffee overlooking the water, or evening cocktails. It has a romantic atmosphere whilst also having the space and amenities for all the guests. 2 kayaks and a gym/yoga area are available for guests also.
