Lakeview Cottage- Amazing views in Badin Shores

Soak up the sun on your boat, at the sandy beach area or in the huge resort pool. Putt putt, basketball, marina, boat ramp, lakeside boardwalk and on site restaurant. Badin Shores has everything you need for a memorable stay!

Lakeview Cottage is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath 400 sq ft park model home. The bedroom is small, but very functional with a super comfy queen bed. There is lots of room underneath the bed for your luggage. The living room is spacious for its size and has a queen pullout sofa. There is TV with streaming services for cable channels, over the air antenna for networks and Netflix for your favorite movies. The Wi-Fi is strong and reliable at speeds of 15mbps. The kitchen is cute and functional and fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Coffee is provided. There is a small dining table for two and two bar stools for the kids. Outdoors is a HUGE covered deck, as well as another uncovered area on the lower level for grilling. We are fully stocked with fresh clean linens, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap and cleaning products.


Badin Shores Resort is a HUGE gated resort full of mostly park models, modular homes and about 10% RVs. The particular area this home is in is mostly park models and modulars. The Amenities include large swimming pool, basketball, putt putt, volleyball, playgrounds, sandy beach area, boat ramp, marina, fitness center, on site bar and grill, fishing pier and a one mile long lakefront boardwalk.

Lakeview Cottage is in the quietest and nicest area of the resort, but it’s also the furthest away from the amenities. The pool, basketball, volleyball, fitness center and putt putt are a 1 mile drive around the resort. The marina, sandy beach area and restaurant are 1/2 mile drive. Please don’t expect to walk to the pool.

You are welcome to bring your boat or jet skis, but the security gate will charge you a $50 guest entry fee. You can get a pass to leave and get gas and come back. There are two parking lots that you can park your boat and trailer at. One lot you will pass by on your way and it’s 2/10 of a mile from the cottage. They are 72 hour lots so if your stay is longer than 72 hours, you should move it to the other 72 hour lot to avoid a parking violation. There is NO boat parking in the driveway of the cottage. The road is way too steep and narrow to back a boat in.

**The pool is usually open middle of May through middle of September. This can change due to weather, running out of chemicals or other unforeseen issues. We are not responsible for any pool closures**

** ALL guests over the age of 16 will need to have a photo ID for access into the resort. You must provide me with the FULL NAMES of all guests over the age of 16. I will send the guard office your info and you will need to show ID for access**

**Badin Shores is in a rural area neighboring Uwharrie National Forest. We do have an on-site restaurant, as well as 3 other restaurants within 5-10 mins. The nearest grocery store is 20 mins away, so we recommend you stopping on your way here for any groceries you may need**

** We have a security camera mounted on the deck facing the driveway and lake. It also provides lighting for your safety. This camera not only protects our property when it’s vacant, but also your vehicle when you are there. We also use it to make sure our cleaners have been there.**

** In order of our cancellation policy, we will no longer accept alteration requests within 30 days of your reservation.
