Youā€™ll treasure your time at this memorable place. A perfect place to relax in private, enjoy a swim in the pool or soak up some rays at the beach!

Located in Badin Shores Resort. The resort offers an 18 hole miniature golf course, swimming pool, sandy beach, paved R/C car track, basketball & volleyball courts, horse shoes pit, 3 playgrounds, fishing pier, a stocked fishing pond, boat ramp, 2 mile board walk along the lake shore and a restaurant/bar & grill
Located in Uwharrie National Forest
The space
Robins Nest is a one bedroom camper setup permanently on a private lot. It has a beautiful deck that is great to enjoy the evenings as well as a large elevated patio with gazebo that affords beautiful sunset views and is a great place to cook out on the flat grill and enjoy company.

Please note the lot where the home is located has a steep hill and is not ADA accessible. There are steps leading down from the upper patio to the home.
Guest access
Located in Badin shores gated Resort community. Guests will have access to all amenities the park offers which includes the pool, beach, putt putt, R/C track, weight/workout room, boardwalk, playgrounds, grills/picnic tables, fishing pier, stocked fishing pond, basketball courts, volleyball, pickleball, horseshoes, restaurant/bar, boat ramp and hair salon.
Other things to note
All adult guests are required to have State issued picture ID to enter the gate.

The home is located on a steep lot that requires some stair steps to access the home, it is not ADA accessible.

We welcome couples and small families (maximum of 3 people) who want to enjoy the lake life. Robins Nest is our second home and we ask our guests to be respectful of the home and property. No parties are allowed and only those listed on the rental agreement are permitted on the property and in the house.

Wonderful property for a trip to the lakes and forests

The camper was the perfect place for me to get away for a short overnight break with a friend. We enjoyed exploring the lake and nearby forests. The furnishings, furniture, and cupboards in the camper were lovely, with a lot of care clearly having been put into setting it up and maintaining the space. The owner's responses to my messages were fast and very helpful.

I am a beach girl, but this stay may have won me over to lake life. PEACEFUL! The camper is adorable and is tastefully decorated with everything you need and no unnecessary clutter. The water pressure was wonderful. Kelly has thought of everything. I have been known to lock myself out of places - but this was not an issue with the setup here. I am so thankful to have found this little gem and such wonderful hosts.

It was an idyllic weekend getaway with my daughter at Robinā€™s Nest. Our favorite part was looking forward to spectacular sunsets on the terrace that sits above the lot! The terrace had plenty of comfortable furniture where we could enjoy the view, eat, listen to music and talk. The actual unit was cozy and intimate with a great air conditioner that kept us cool though it was very hot outside. We enjoyed spending the day at the beach on the lake where there is plenty of shade. The unit had a very comfortable bed. The futon on the living room was also comfortable, and the massage chair was a fun surprise. We loved sitting in the small and cozy interior living area where we could chat for hours and even nap. The space was just right for two people. The unit sits at the bottom of the lot, and there is also a chair, rocker and umbrella right outside the door where I enjoyed quiet moments and my coffee in the mornings. Our last day we woke up at sunrise and walked the boardwalk around the lake in the shade before check out. We want to come back and stay here again next year.
