Ocala is a delightful city just outside the national park and only a 20-minute drive from the home.
If the ocean is what you’re looking for, it's just about an hour's drive to the Atlantic Coast where you'll find the popular Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach just a bit further south. And if your Florida vacation allows the time to head down South to Disney World, it's about an hour and a half away to Orlando and the many Disney Theme Parks.
