Lazy River Cabins's Up-Stream Cabin, Cedar Breeze, is a vacation rental located just outside of Luray, Virginia. It resides in a private, country setting with the Shenandoah River, mountain hiking trails, and many local attractions nearby. If you enjoy reconnecting with nature in the peaceful outdoors or gathering with your family and friends in a rustic setting, Cedar Breeze is the perfect, affordable, get-away for you. Let the breeze carry you here!

Cedar Breeze sleeps up to 4 people. It features 2 bedrooms with 2 queen-size beds, living room, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, bonus room with 2 twin beds and futon, and back deck. It has central heat and air to make your stay more comfortable. A pergola with seating lends itself to good conversations outdoors with mountain views.

We welcome pets. No smoking is permitted inside the cabin; however, smoking is allowed outdoors.

Cedar Breeze is graced with a large yard. There’s plenty of space for volleyball or a game of horseshoes. An outdoor fireplace serves as the perfect spot to gather and roast marshmallows long after the sun goes down! The Shenandoah River is just out back and about a mile from a pubic boat landing. The Shenandoah River Outfitters is only minutes away by car, as well as, to hiking trails in the George Washington National Forest. Bring your fishing poles, bicycles, and hiking shoes!

-NEW TRASH GUIDELINES: Please take ALL RECYCLABLE items (including glass, plastic, aluminum, metal, and paper) with you. Leave ONLY perishable, bagged trash for us to dispose of at our local landfill. Any recyclable items left as trash will result in a $25 extra charge.

Cedar Breeze

A great pet friendly house with plenty of room. It is located in a beautiful secluded area very close to the Lurary Caverns and close enough to easily visit Shenandoah Nat'l Park. Property manager gave great directions to the house and was very helpful.

First time I used Vrbo. Too many "rules" at the house, especially about the garbage. Info book in the house needs to be updated. Hot tub did not work. Please let guest know what sort of coffee maker is included in the home.

This place is going downhill

The property was pretty much as advertised, but clearly in need of maintenance in several ways. The water stopped working on our second day. The owner sent out people to fix it promptly, but it took some time. As we were leaving the fourth morning the water stopped working again.

Wonderful

Nice cabin, from the keyless enter to having everything needed in the kitchen it made the stay easy. Well, kept yard that is plenty big for dogs and is private. Stores are 15 minutes away for supplies and nice Hot Tub. I would stay here again..

Great hiking access

From the Cedar Breeze cabin, you can find trails in the National Forests nearby, or go over to Shenandoah and sightsee or hike trails off Skyline Drive. The cabin is great for families. Kids have their own room!

Shenandoah Weekend

Well spent quiet weekend out in the mountains. Property location was perfect for our trip and offered a nice relaxing spot to enjoy Luray. Check in and out process was easy and host provided great communication. Home was clean and cozy.

Beautiful property

The property was gorgeous. The house was lovely, clean and the perfect size for what we needed. The owner was also wonderful with communication. Our only complaint was the furniture. The beds were very uncomfortable. Even our children were complaining about their bed. I hope they will update their beds and if they do we would love to book with them again. We actually cut our trip short because of the beds.

Great location

this was overall a nice place. could use some work on the curb appeal. seems far from everything but really isn't. if you need a quite place this is the place for you.

Relaxation Get-a-way

Unfortunately, we ended our three-night stay at this cabin after two nights.

The house really needs a little TLC; it’s clean, but most things seem not to have been updated in some time. For example, the welcome book that’s on the front table has outdated information about procedures and no information about how to operate anything in the house (some instructions for the fireplace would have been really helpful). The hot tub jets didn’t work as the control panel was damaged—the owners knew this to be the case before we arrived, but they didn’t tell us. (They did reimburse us for the non-functional hot tub after we complained.) The beds were very old and uncomfortable; you could hear and feel the springs with every movement, and there was seemingly no padding left over those springs. We got no sleep either night, which is the main reason why we decided not to stay for a third. Also, we would recommend that you travel to this cabin for the first time in the daylight. It’s very hard to see street signs with as dark as it gets in the area, and the owner’s provided directions aren’t the easiest to follow or the most accurate, especially because they list a different street name for the turn after you cross the river than what is on the sign.

Nit very clean and completely different then pictured on the site

The property needs a good cleaning, had a very strong amonia smell when we got there so we had to air it out, the window latches are broken the door and windows look like they have been pried open and there is a 3rd room that we didn't expect. The house was a different color then in the post. The river isnt very clean at the end that the cabin was located. It was not a pleasent stay.
