The cabin was ok , its was cold the fireplace is drafty , there are no curtains on the windows , the bathroom ceiling is full of black mold , all the dishes needed washed before use they had food an grime on them , the shower head did not work well , and if you are a larger person you will NOT be able to sit on the toilet.

The cabin was cozy but not particularly clean. The deck needs TLC. Driveway leading to cabin a bit treacherous.Ryann, the host was very responsive to our questions. The view is very pretty. Queen bed was comfortable.

Quiet and secluded

We enjoyed our little get away. The house was clean and didnā€™t smell as if pets had been there. The instructions were very helpful, especially for the driveway. It is in the woods, so bring bug spray if you want to sit out on the deck.

Great place to stay to hike in Shenandoah valley

Great base for a hiking weekend in Shenandoah. Note that the property has no WiFi, but we did have some cell service. The kitchen was not well stocked, but it was generally clean and tidy. Iā€™d recommend a car with four wheel drive for getting up to the property because the drive was a bit treacherous!

We came here to celebrate my 40TH birthday and it was perfect! Beautiful views of the mountains and so quiet! The property had everything we needed and was clean and kept up. We will definitely return!

Traveling with pets

The cabin sits in an amazing location but the travel up the mountain we were not fully prepared for neither car had 4 wheel drive. We managed to make it up but it was rough. Cabin has everything you need and feels like home. We had are dogs with us and they loved being able to hang out off leash. If Iā€™m ever in that area again Iā€™d definitely rent again.

Up on a hill

The cabin had a wonderful view, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. The drive up was very steep, and there were many stairs to climb to get up to the cabin. I am glad we had 4-wheel drive. There is no internet in the cabin other than our phoneā€™s hot spot, and the cell signal is not very strong. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.

My husband, our fur baby and I enjoyed our stay. This location and house fulfilled every expectation we were hoping for when staying in Virginia (1st time to this state). Absolutely stunning view of the sunset. Quiet and secluded. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Directions and communication from the host was excellent! We had no complaints!

This cabin had so much potential to be a great place to stay, but it was really dirty. Bugs in the lamps, all around the kitchen sink and window. I had to clean the kitchen before feeling comfortable to use it. The oven was filthy. The bathroom floor was dirty, as well as the mildew-covered shower curtain and ceiling. We were left with one kitchen towel and no kitchen wash clothes, as well as 2 rolls of TP for the week. I had to go buy both. The deck is in need of some TLC. The fireplace doesn't appear to work. This was a mediocre stay for us. We did appreciate the large selection of DVDs, as well as clean bed linens. With some attention to details, this could be a really great place to enjoy while visiting Shenandoah NP.

Lovely cabin on the mountain side

This is a nice secluded little cabin located high up on the hillside giving the property the privacy you may be looking for. Also located near tourist spots such as Luray Caverns if your interested in fun for the whole Family.

Anniversary trip

The property was a great spot for a long weekend getaway. It was close to the Shenandoah National Park so we went to the park to do some hiking each day we were there. The location of the cabin up on the hill was awesome. It is very private and perfect if you want to have a secluded weekend.

Secluded cozy cabin

Had a great stay with my partner here over the weekend! Very convenient location for hiking, and also close to Luray for any food/groceries. Cabin was a little hard to find at first but quickly figured out the initial shared driveway.

Wonderful, secluded Cabin!

We had a wonderful long weekend celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary. The cabin provided a lovely setting with great views. The interior was beautiful as well as the large deck. We highly recommend a visit if you want to get away and just unwind.

Amazing View

Came to this property for a weekend trip with my family. Had an amazing time eating breakfast looking at the mountain views from the porch. This property is closed to Skyline Drive which has beautiful scenic overlooks. I highly recommend a visit here.

Beautiful mountaintop cabin

Our stay at the cabin was great. The sunrise on the deck was wonderful, the cabin itself was cozy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with anything youā€™d need to cook with. The A/C worked extremely well. Just make sure youā€™re comfortable driving up a long gravel road with sharp turns to get to the cabin, but other than that youā€™ll definitely love staying here.
