Property was beautiful. And had a beautiful sunrise between the trees. Cabins and accommodations were excellent. We met the housekeeper our first day and she was kind and friendly

Needed a secluded getaway

This is just what I needed. The cabin was a little too close to the road for total privacy but overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend.

Getting away with JM

It was so spacious & very rustic & romantic & enjoy Ed it immensely! Only issues was the Hamilton Beach Coffee maker, & could not get the outside fan or light to work...other than that... beautiful resort & would definitely stay again!

Cute renovated cabin

We really enjoyed this cute cabin - has a smart TV to login to any streaming provider, has the comfiest large blankets and has nice stainless steel appliances for any cooking. We loved our stay here, but be aware that this cabin is at the very entrance of the resort, and is pretty close to the main road so there were lots of cars driving past. The hot tub is located at the back of the cabin, but is still not all that private.

Not so Warm and Cozy

It’s neat that it was a renovated 1800’s barn, but it was more like a man cave. Poor heating on the main floor so it was always cold especially the concrete floor so we had to crank the heaters to 82 degrees & run a portable heater just to keep the chill off. Being the only cabin at the bottom of the hills, you could clearly hear the traffic on the main road. Worse than that is the fact that so many people think this is the office and come to the front door at all hours. Having people knock on your cabin door at night is annoying. Also, apparently, this cabin is the drop off location for food deliveries for all the cabins here. It was strange having a food delivery person set food on the front porch at 9:30pm & then have someone walk on the porch at 9:45pm to pick it up. So much for privacy. We drove by all the other cabins and they look nice being located in the hills. If you want any type of privacy, our advice is to not rent this cabin.

Phillip, So sorry to hear you didn't love your stay with us - the Clubhouse is typically a fan favorite of ours with its rustic vibes and wrap around porch. Yes, there is a lot of activity near that cabin as noted because it sits at the front of the property. This is the first we are hearing about grocery deliveries but do direct guests to coordinate their deliveries to their cabins directly as we do not offer an office location on-site. We will use your feedback to help further clarify this with future guests. Safe travels!
