Hi Polly, Thank you for taking the time to review Blue Mountain Haven. We are aware that the oven's interior appearance is a bit tarnished. Sadly one of our very first guests created quite the mess in the oven and despite all of our best cleaning tricks, we have not been able to fully restore the inside of the oven. We can assure you and all future guests that it is very clean and fully functional, just a bit discolored. Best, Guesthouses

We also appreciate your notes about the kitchen and dishes—cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and we’ll be giving this closer attention moving forward. While we don’t provide cleaning supplies, each stay includes a Starter Kit with few essentials (like dish soap and pods, toilet paper, etc.). If you find you need a bit more, you’re always welcome to bring or pick up anything additional to make yourself completely comfortable. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’d love to welcome you back again soon!

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad the mountain views and the remote character of the property left a positive impression. We do want to note that the hot tub is not a guest amenity and was not advertised as such. Signage is in place to make this clear, and we've addressed the dishes concern with our team. For heating and cooling, we do our best to provide clear instructions in our check-in information, and we're always happy to assist directly if needed. As for stink bugs, they are a seasonal reality of our rural, wooded location, and while we do our best to minimize them, they are a natural part of the environment. We're grateful you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back soon!
