Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. We had a large family reunion in Morgantown with every family renting their own house. There was easy access to the beach. The only suggestion would be for some towel racks in the master bath to hang up bath towels.

Charming and well appointed house! Check in was a breeze. Loved the wrap around porch and balcony! Only steps away from the gorgeous, white sand beach! Loved that the neighborhood was away from the crowds of Gulf Shores proper.

Cleanliness was not as expected after reading previous reviews. Rugs had not been washed, air vents were moldy and very dirty, stove was dirty, sinks had soap dried on them, much of the silverware wasn’t clean, window sills were full of bugs. I’ve stayed in worse but also much better. I did reach out about some of the issues and they addressed them to an extent but not everything. Location was ideal.

Great trip

Great place to have a nice relaxing vacation with loved ones. Great location, wonderful views and well stocked kitchen. We would stay again.

Fort morgan house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fabulous and so close to the beach. The house was not super clean. The bathrooms and blinds and windows and stairs coming in to the house were not clean. It was a comfortable house and very convenient. I was also pleasantly surprised that Walmart would deliver to this location.

Property was acceptable. Great location near the beach and pools. Bottom sun deck was not safe for use due to soft floor wooden panels. Found three cockroaches in the house, two in bedrooms and one in kitchen. Was told would have beach wagon for use but was not available upon arrival. Not very accommodating with only limited paper supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags). Overall, not a very comfortable or welcoming experience.

We appreciate your feedback Sarah. We never like to hear that a guest is less than satisfied with their stay. We can never guarantee beach accessories from renter to renter. We would have been happy to provide information on renting beach accessories to you. The home is on a routine pest control program and treated regularly. An extra treatment was requested. As mentioned in our pre-arrival instructions, a start up supply of kitchen essentials and paper products are provided. We send this information out in advance so that guests can be prepared. This it typical in the local short term rental market for our area. The home is inspected before and after each guest but we will have our maintenance team look at the deck boards you mentioned. We wish you would have reached out during your stay. We provide multiple avenues for communication and have staff readily available to assist at all times. It's great to hear you enjoyed the location and community amenities. Thanks for staying with us! Coastal View Vacations

Great stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a great experience! Great location, cute house, plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen had all the cookware that we needed. The only negative was a bit of repair needed in the outdoor spaces- a few nails poking up on the stairs/deck and some boards that didn’t feel quite safe. These things didn’t detract from our experience but could be problematic in the future.

Great spot for our family! It was a short walk to the beach and we had plenty of room to spread out and play. The house was clean and well taken care of. The only things I wish we had that we didn’t were a hose at the end of the beach boardwalk and hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms.

First family trip to beach

Property was very nice. We definitely will be back and might even look into a bigger property to get more family here with costal view. Very easy to get ahold of property manager and was very nice! Area was very nice and everyone was friendly felt like a good neighborhood! The beach is close enough to walk to!

Nice property

The property is extremely nice. Close to beach access and amenities. The restaurants that are in the area are nice and Gulf Shores/Orange Beach is not overly far away. This is a wonderful family oriented area of the beach. My only complaint is that the beds are not overly comfortable at the house. It wasn't horrible, but not anything like my own.

Quick get away before school starts.

We love Fort Morgan. This was our first stay in Morgantown. The house was just as described. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was quiet and very laid back. The beach is visible from the top deck and is only a short walk away. Talley Ho is definitely on the second trip list.

We loved the easy access to the beach, we enjoyed each having our own bathrooms and we enjoyed the pool. I thought the house was very nice and clean. With two five year olds, it didn't stay that way for long but we loved it.
