786 Welcome to your weekend or week getaway from the rush, and relax at this cozy cabin with stone fireplace, nestled in the peaceful Pocono Mountains.

Our well kept cabin is located on a quiet and private lot in the kid friendly and gated, vacation community of Big Bass Lake. Our highly rated community has three beautiful lakes, a heated indoor and outdoor pool, a club house with a game room, pickleball courts , snow tubing, ice skating, basketball, hiking, and many planned social, art and recreational activities for children and adults.
**Please note availabily for indoor and outdoor pools is subject to change**

The community is close enough to major attractions in the Poconos: Mt Pocono, Bushkill Falls, Camelback, Great Wolf Lodge, Kalahari and the Crossings Premium outlets- just to name a few. Fifteen minutes from Scranton and Montage Mountain a newly renovated ski resort. If you feel like staying in or doing nothing at all, enjoy our free Wifi, Roku TV, Smart TV or family fun board games!

10 mins from Gouldsboro state park.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets at the marina across the street from the cabin.

The house includes a 2 person deck-swing and wrap-around deck with an 8 person table with umbrella and built in benches, great for hanging out or taking meals.

A circular driveway in the front of the property makes coming and going easy. Additional parking is available along the right side and back of the house.

Access to a canoe at the marina across the street.
A standard row boat is on the side of the house for use, also.

*Please note bed linens and bath towels are not provided.

*Bathroom hand towels, pillows and blankets are provided.

*All renters will need to fill out the rental application form for Big Bass Lake and adhere to all rules and regulations of Big Bass Lake and this listing. Both will be provided upon booking.

*For the safety of all guests and security of our home, we have outdoor cameras, facing the stairs leading up to the front door, and the back of the house. Disconnecting, tampering with or disabling either of them will result in automatic forfeit of damage deposit and removal from property.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin for our ski weekend. It was the perfect size and had everything needed. Communication with the host was always very quick and efficient. Would stay again.

This is our second year staying at Arshe and Matthew's house. It's a grandma/granddaughter getaway. It's the perfect property.Full and well stocked kitchen, laundry room, easy to understand instructions and a great community with pool/beach/playground.

First thing Shout out to the super host who before we could even book with helped me thru the process very helpful and professional when it comes to pleasing there guests! Stayed with my family of all ages and everyone had a blast! Very cozy cabin right off a beautiful lake WILL be booking AGAIN!

Absolutely loved the place!

We had an amazing time. House is clean and spacious. Wrap around deck was really nice for for relaxing outside on. Close to the lake. I have nothing negative to say. It was just what we needed for our weekend away. Will definitely book again. Thank Matthew and Ashe!!

Peach Pit

Located in a beautiful community. Gate personnel very friendly and welcoming. Spent four quiet and peaceful nights. House was equipped with all the necessary appliances and cookware to make some "home cooking" very easy. A short and easy drive each day to Montage Mountain to attend the Peach Music Festival.

House at Big Bass Lake area

We stayed 10 days with our family, hiking around in the Pocono mountains. This house was a perfect place for us, it has everything what we needed in the kitchen, rooms and outside. The wifi was working perfect which is important if you need to work or having teenagers. :) The Big Bass Lake community is a mixture of permanent residents and people staying short term vacation mostly with families. You can see fireflies, deers, squirrels, goose and many more wildlife….

Best Grandma vacation ever!

I wanted to take my 7 year old granddaughter someplace where she could play outdoors, meet other kids and do things independently. This community was PERFECT! Lake, fishing, pool, snack bar (where she could get her own chips), playing ping pong, foozeball and navigate kid relationships on her own was priceless. The house was perfectly situated, equidistant from pool and beach. Roomy, immaculately clean, well stocked and very pleasant outdoor space. Each bedroom was roomy, well lit and had great mattresses and pillows. Washer and dryer were terrific to have after a day at the beach. Well stocked with games and art supplies. This was a fabulous location and we hope to come back many times in the future.

Good Location

The hosts were very responsive and the cottage was very well equipped. The canoe and a proximity to a marina were really nice as we wanted to do some fishing. The entire complex is well maintained, but even an entry to the lake’s beach requires a daily amenity. fee. The only problem was that the air in the cottage was not fresh when we arrived and we discovered some dirt on the windows frames when we tried to open the windows. We are sure a cleaning had been done before we arrived, but it seemed that it had been done a couple of weeks before we arrived. We also did not like the wall to wall carpets because, again, they did not give us an impression of being dust free. Overall, the price was not that high, so we were satisfied.

We really enjoyed staying at this property.

The four of us spent a wonderful 11 days together at this property. The view of the lake was absolutely wonderful and the fall colors surrounding us made this a pleasant stay. If we come back to the Poconos in the future we would highly consider staying at this property again if available. The well equipped kitchen is a real plus and the owners were responsive to questions. The pop corn popper was a real treat. People coming from the cities will the enjoy the wildlife in this wooded area. We saw several deer in the front yard.

Adorable cottage

We had such a great time at this property. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and there was enough space for all of us to be comfortable. The indoor pool was amazing as well. We definitely will book again

Just What We Were Looking For

The hosts communicated quickly and made efforts to make sure we felt welcomed and provided for. I was pleased by the cleanliness of the cabin and though it was below zero at night, we stayed warm and cozy!

It's because of this, that I bought this home to share with my family and guests so they can enjoy all the Poconos have to offer.
