This is a lakefront property on Big Bass Lake. Bring the family and make lasting memories. If coming for just the weekend to ski arrive early and check out by 6 pm the day you leave. This is a gated community. If the lake is frozen and smooth ice skating is a possibility.

Enjoy some time away from the crowds on this 201 acre lake. Views are magnificent from this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home fully stocked home, plenty of room for the family. Enjoy the lake, private beach and firepit to make family memories. Large open living and dining room, 3 bedrooms, two baths, sitting area. Huge wrap around deck.

What a perfect lake house. The house was even better in person than in the pictures. It was so warm and welcoming, clean, and very well-supplied. Loved the huge sofa in front of the gas fireplace. The whole living area was the perfect size for our group of 6. And the view—-stunning! The lake is beautiful, surrounded by fall trees. And I loved getting up in the morning and the house was ablaze with sunlight. Woke me right up! No depression lurks in this house! The dock is a nice size and we used it every day. Fishing was tricky because of the amount of lake weed, but we caught perch, crappies, blue gills, and small mouth bass. House has a large rowboat, two heavy kayaks that seat three, and a peddle boat. Plus two paddle boards. Nice little beach and a fire pit on the beach. My favorite surprise was being visited two mornings by four does. They came right up to the deck steps where I was sitting. Made my trip. I would go back right now in a heartbeat if I could! Just a terrific getaway.

Peace & tranquility by the lake

Wonderful property! Exactly as shown in the photos. We loved the natural fire pit on the private beach (plenty of firewood) and gas fire pit on the deck with our morning coffee & evening wine. Birds & deer visited us every day. Kitchen has lots of spices, appliances, & place settings for many people. Thank you Dave & JoAnn!

Absolutely Lovely Lake House

The Lake House is exactly as listed with a stunning view of the Lake. We stayed in February and enjoyed the frozen lake, skiing and Kalahari Water Park all during Presidents Day holiday weekend. The hosts are extremely responsive.

Long weekend getaway

The house and views are beautiful! We needed are relaxing vacation and this place delivered. Great place to fish! We enjoyed using the paddle boat and kayaks. The house owner was great and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay at Big Bass Lake

The house was very nice. It was so homey, cozy, and well equipped, with everything you needed. The bedroom was nice and comfortable. We had plenty of towels and shampoo etc…David, the owner, was easy to get ahold of for any questions. We were there for a relaxing get away for my husband’s birthday, and we relaxed !! We made a nice steak dinner in the kitchen and really enjoyed it. We had some friendly visitors that came one evening. Four very sweet deer! Oh, and the view is outstanding!! Would love to go again!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Great cabin getaway

My friends and I stayed at Dave’s cabin for a few nights. Great place. Well-stocked and comfortable. We were able to fish a little, grill, and have a great time on the dock, deck, and in the living room spaces. Dave was a great host and communicated very quickly and clearly. Looking forward to staying there again.

Very Nice Stay

We found the property to be clean and comfortable. Location and view are nicer then revealed in pictures. Large deck provided a great spot for our group to relax and enjoy the fall afternoons and evenings. Large master bedroom on the first floor and 2 fairly spacious bedrooms on the second floor provided very firm beds. Kitchen is well stocked, neat and efficient making meal prep very easy. David was very accommodating and helpful when contacted. We all agreed that if possible, we would visit again.

My wife and I enjoy the outdoors and are big fans of the lake, beach and the mountains. We spent our honeymoon in Vermont and loved it there enough to eventually buy a vacation home. We have rented our Vermont home for a few years now and decided to also purchase a lake front home closer to home in the Poconos. While we spend a fair amount of time at each we also enjoy sharing our investments with vacationers so they can enjoy the beauty and make treasured family memories. We invite you to stay at one of our homes and enjoy them as much as we do.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

The views of the lake and the tranquility are breathtaking. If your looking for noise and lots of hustle and bustle this is not the place for you. It is so relaxing and our escape from the world. We fell in love at first sight and bought this house May 2020 during the height of the pandemic.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

One the lake, great views year round from the living room, loft and deck.. Close to Kalahari waterpark and Mt Airy Casino. We are also a roughly a half hour from Camelback, Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski areas. There is nothing like waking up and seeing the view, or looking out the large windows and seeing the lake.
