Great property to spend time with friends and see the area. We spent our long weekend seeking out vineyards and breweries. Coming home to enjoy great company, family style dinners and football games.

This place was magical! I have zero complaints and a million compliments. The electricity went out during the night because of the weather, causing a small snafu, and I was able to get ahold of the owner right away. She worked closely with us to make things right quickly. This home would be wonderful during any season. Just watch out for deer as you're driving during the day - it's a mountain adventure!

We had a fantastic stay! The home is beautifully decorated and was spotless when we arrived. The host was incredibly kind and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel very welcome.The outdoor space was just as amazing as the inside. The trail, hot tub, and endless outdoor seating made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Everything about the property was well thought out and comfortable.We truly loved our stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

This stay was better than I could have expected! It was our first getaway without a packed itinerary and I wasn't sure I could resist the urge to go out and explore the Harper's Ferry area. This home was so cozy and perfectly stocked for everything, we didn't have to leave for anything (except more snacks!) We spent our time swimming, relaxing in the hot tub and playing all the fun games. In between all of that, quiet time in the solarium with the plants was a great reset. This is a really beautiful home with lots of space and you won't want to leave! We will look forward to coming back again in the future. Thank you so much to our host, she was so easy and kind to communicate with and responded to my questions quickly. Much appreciated!

Getaway to Harpers Ferry

Beautiful house and grounds . The house was incredibly private and very clean with plenty of room for the whole family. Especially enjoyed the pool and the screened in porch. Just down the road is the Potomac river with easy access to Harpers Ferry. Thank you so much for a wondeful stay. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Wonderful Place

I’ve stayed in many rentals for various vacations over the years. This place is a winner. It’s not just clean, comfortable and well appointed. The property and ground are beautiful. I would return to this place.

This property was a gem! We loved being in the wooded area away from towns and still have all the luxuries of a resort: swimming pool, sauna, hot tub! We were a three generation family and found the property to be suitable for all ages: three bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms, one with bunk beds, on the lower floor. The temperature settings in the house made for a cool stay during the heat wave we experienced. We found many local places to entertain one three and one five year old: hiking the towpath and cave exploring, the creamery, and the train museum and train ride were a big hit! Thanks for the abundance of toys, games, and puzzles. The kids loved them!

Amazing house and property!

This house was perfect for our group! It was well stocked, clean, and homey. There were plenty of sitting areas to hang out. The screened porch was great for dinner and breakfast. The solarium was the perfect location to listen to the thunderstorm. The beds were super comfy and we all slept great. It was a quick drive into Harper’s Ferry or any of the local breweries and wineries. It is on our list to come back!

We loved our stay at this house. It is a beautiful home with lots of living area to stretch out in. We were a group of children, young adults, and grandparents, and there was lots of activities on the property to keep us engaged and having fun. Nicole was prompt in addressing issues we had and left lots of local ideas for us to stay entertained during our stay. The only downside is that the hot water ran out very quickly and many of us ended up taking cold showers.

The perfect oasis for our girls weekend

We couldn’t have asked for a better property or a better location. The house is gorgeous and spacious, outfitted with anything and everything we could have asked for (and even small touches we wouldn’t have even thought of!) Communication with our host was above and beyond, with thoughtful and detailed updates and answers to any questions we have. I won’t be surprised if members of our group rent this property again, either all together or for other reasons, in the future.

Fantastic Family Get Away

Our family had the most WONDERFUL stay at this house. The home was very beautiful and the furnishings and décor was perfect! The house had plenty of kitchenware and the owners thought of every last detail when it came to what one would need to cook a family meal. We initially booked this house due to its close proximity to downtown Harper's Ferry since we wanted to be able to take in all the sites and partake in lots of outdoor activities easily but I would be lying if I didn't say that there were times when we didn't want to even leave the house as it was so inviting and offered endless hours of fun for our family in the pool, jacuzzi tub and hiking on their land. We were sad to leave and I would definitely recommend this house to everyone. We can't wait to come back!!

This property is amazing. The house is beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped with everything a group would need, and then some (a closet full of games, extra blankets, towels, etc). The property has a lovely pool, hot tub, sauna, and fire pit, all situated on five acres of green woods. You cannot see any neighbors from the house or yard, which makes it a real getaway oasis.It is close to Harper's Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Charlestown, WV, all of which are worth exploring, especially if you are a history buff. Also, there are lots of restaurants and wineries in the area.The hosts are very helpful and responsive to questions. In all, we had a wonderful stay at Harper's Getaway, and we would highly recommend this property.

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful time on our girls trip. This was our first time using VRBO. The house was perfect for us. We had lots of room. It was relaxing and had all the comforts of home. Check in and check out was simple and convenient. Communication before our trip helped answer all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again!!

Family Vacation

The house and property were perfect for our family vacation which included an infant. The space options allowed all of us to be able to be together or do things apart as we wanted! Highly recommend this property!

Great getaway!

We spent several days here as a leadership team for our annual strategic planning meeting. It provided multiple spaces for us to work with. Upon arrival, our immediate thought was this would be a great spot to bring our families. The only two small things we noticed were the following: Prior to arrival the link to the address in the notification is incorrect. The address itself is correct, however, when clicking the link and opening the address in a map application, it takes you to a neighbors house several blocks up the road. 2) The internet speed is not the fastest, so if you require fast speeds, be prepared for a bit of a lag at times. Overall we loved the place and I would definitely return!
