Peaceful Scenic Pond & Home Close to Beach/Sports/Entertainment

Our fairly rural peaceful home is newly remodeled with 2100 sq ft living area aside a picturesque pond (catch & release only, bream & large mouth bass) and pecan orchard remnants. (Rental only encompasses 1 acre of what is the yard around the house.) Once was our childhood home and now a second home. Fully furnished newly remodeled kitchen, living area, sitting room & front and back porches, 2.5 baths & 3 bedrooms with nearly all new bedding, sleeping up to eleven. Spacious and open great room with two separate sitting areas each with a 65" Roku TV, one with game console (Wii) and a great multitude of games or bring your own console and games for hookup. Easy access to Gulf Shores Beaches (30 min, 17 mi.) and OWA Amusement Waterpark & Entertainment Destination (10 min., Foley, AL), Foley Sportsplex (18 mins), The Wharf Amphitheater (25 mins, Orange Beach) or even Florida Beaches (less than and hour). Relax on the front porch or back per your viewing choice of spacious front yard with flora or back patio with pecan tree backdrop, pasture and pond with soon to be added canoeing, all at your fingertips.

Family beach trip

We would definitely stay again. After all day at the beach, there were plenty of games for the kids. Great open space.

Nice stay

It was a nice and beautiful property very clean host was nice answered all questions very fast...would definitely recommend...unless someone has a frog phobia..lots of frogs and lizards due to the rain.

Glorious stay

Loved the house, location and accessibility to the owner. He was so responsive and the price was phenomenal! If you want access to any part of the Orange beach/Gulf Shores/Florabama area this is the place! Beautiful outdoors and indoors! Definitely a five star stay!

Great guests to have. Young ladies softball team even made use of the town ball field for for their practice and were welcomed there. Love supporting with lodging the Foley Sportsplex tournaments. The beaches and OWA Entertainment & Amusement and restaurants galore are a skip and a jump. It was great to have you and your wonderful sport-minded group. Come back! 😁

Family Home

We had a wonderful stay at this family home. It was perfect for our large family, there was plenty of space and games for our 5 children ages 1 to 11. It is perfectly located away from the hustle and tourist traffic. With a short drive we were at the beach or any desirable restaurant. Our hosts were so welcoming and easy to reach. We have already been discussing our next trip.

The only knock we had is the length of the grass. Wish it was cut down. Aside from that, zero complaints.

We were really glad to have had this group and would welcome them back. The grass was cut less than a week before. We'd have loved to have come and made an extra cutting if only we'd have kniwn it would have been desired. Lots of rain this year means lots of grass. And we'll always come remedy anything we can if we know of a concern. Wish this group all well, nonetheless.

Great snowbird retreat

Everything was just as described, the house was large and well equipped. Comfy beds and plenty of kitchen utensils, hot showers and clean bathrooms. The property is very large which was a bonus feature for us, we're used to being in the country. Nearby Foley had very good restaurants, with Pensacola also a short drive. David is an excellent host, with lots of local knowledge and quick to respond to questions. Thanks for the stress free winter get away!

Great place in the country

This was a nice house in the country. Only 25 minutes and we were on the beach. Lots of room with the open concept. Two tvs with couches plus the diningroom table with the kitchen so everyone can visit and enjoy time together. We even built a fire in the firepit and made smores one night.

Peaceful haven

The host, David, is very available and helpful with any questions. The house is perfectly situated and has a huge private backyard. It is very quiet and clean. Very spacious and well laid out. I would highly recommend if you prefer being a little further out from the busy beach but still within easy reach. We had a lovely time and made some unforgettable memories. Thank you

A Great And Enjoyable Stay

The place was exactly what we needed. We had 17 people and we fit in just fine. There weren’t enough beds for all of us, we knew this in advance, so we just brought some extra blow up beds. It worked out just fine. The house and yard is very spacious and was clean. We had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of stuff to keep us all entertained (two large TVs, foosball table, ping pong table, video Game Center, board games, etc.). The yard was big enough for us to have a kickball game. Overall we had a great week staying here. David and his wife were great hosts. They communicate with us often to make sure our stay was pleasant. We would stay here again if we have the opportunity to come back to Alabama.

Great place for a large group

Love this property!!

Loved staying at this property! The property manager was fantastic and so great to work with! House was amazing. Fully furnished and just close enough to the beach and stores to make for a fun relaxing vacation. When we come back down this will be the only place we will stay! —see you soon!

Very spacious & clean house. Great location to experience OWA, Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.

Will definitely return to Elberta. Sweet little town with a great local butcher in the grocery store. We were away from the hustle bustle of the beach crowds & noise. This house made us feel like we were in our home ♥️♥️
