Great stay, very private, plenty of parking, dog friendly. Just bring a portable fence for you fur baby. Everything not far to drive to.

My kids loved this place. The only downside was that it is about 35 minutes to the beaches which is stated in the listing. There were plenty of beds and it’s very spacious.

Overall a nice place that met our needs. Our youngest Grandson started walking while we where there and the nice open space really helped that. Everything was clean and pretty comfortable. Smoke detector in the kitchen needs to be relocated away from over the nearly direct heat source. You cook bacon and it goes off. Water pressure is okay, not great and we lost internet for a few hours. I found the WiFi hotspot and power cycled it and we got the DNS refreshed and everything worked including the TV's. Off the main road so it was quiet except for something (not sure what it was) that started up and ran for about 20 seconds every couple of hours which woke me up every time. I would recommend this place for anyone needing space for a family gathering!

This was a great rental. The space was comfortable and very clean. Plenty of space inside and a huge front yard. Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of room for the whole family. The property is located in a very quiet and relaxing area which is great at the end of the day when you want to get away from all the noise and people.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The property had numerous cleanliness, maintenance, and safety concerns that significantly impacted our experience.The cleanliness was disappointing. We found a dirty mattress, dried blood on a pillow, clothing from previous guests between the bed and wall, bird droppings covering the front porch, and the grass around the home was extremely overgrown.There were also several maintenance issues. The plumbing did not function properly, with toilets flushing slowly, the kitchen sink gurgling when other fixtures were used, inconsistent hot and cold water in the shower, and a persistent sewage odor—especially upstairs and whenever water was running. The Wi-Fi was much slower than expected, a hair dryer advertised in the listing was not provided, and the bed configuration did not match the listing.Most concerning were the safety issues. Stair railings were loose or broken, the stairs themselves had inconsistent step heights, and there were privacy concerns that made us uncomfortable. Because of these issues, we chose not to use one of the upstairs bedrooms.While the location was convenient, the number and severity of these problems outweighed the positives. We hope these issues are addressed so future guests have a safer and more enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed the spacious, peaceful, charming , beautiful Barndo. We loved staying away from the busy city. This location was perfect, minutes away to GulfShore , and Pensacola which most of our favorite spots were easy to get too. We also loved the Barndo because it was pet friendly which was a plus for us! Mark was quick to respond and accommodate us with extra fans for the upstairs room.

Sibling Trip

My siblings and I recently stayed at the barndo and it was an amazing time for all. The house is very spacious and was able to comfortably sleep our large group. We loved being away from the traffic but close to everything in the area. I would highly recommend the barndo for your next trip. We’re already hoping to plan our next stay.

Where do I begin..location was good and the home itself was nice just minor cosmetic stuff. But when I got there- grass about shin to knee high. When finding the key- Under vs in something does make a small difference. Then first day, my daughter finds an open pocket knife in the couch! Which I left there and put it by the sink in case anyone wants their knife back. Thanks. There was NO wash cloths. Had to buy my family wash clothes to shower. I was tempted to use the one for the sink but they were damp (insert vomit face). There was a lot of towels. You had to search everywhere to find blankets for the beds. There was one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and two very used rolls as back up. The master bathroom sink didn’t drain worth anything. water stayed very hot for the showers so that’s a plus. Over all- for the price paid, wish there wasn’t hidden weapons in the couches, mowed grass, and more wash cloths. Maybe update the photos on here to actually show what they look like now vs whenever those were taken.

This place was perfect for my husband and i and my two kids. back away, peaceful and exactly what described in the listing it was absolutely beautiful inside as well. We were here for a baseball tournament and travel between Foley, Pensacola, and orange beach and it was perfectly located in the middle of all of them

Peaceful and quiet

The location was perfect. It was close to the things we wanted to do around gulf shores without having to stay directly on the beach. Mark was a great host, he responded quickly to any questions that we had and was very polite.

I loved the Barndo, very spacious, clean and tucked away nicely. I loved hearing the tinks on the roof, it gave off a very peaceful ambiance, especially while sitting on the porch. There were ducks and dragon flies galore... 1 literally sat next to me for like a good 15-20 mins.

Gulf shores trip

Mark was so responsive with any questions i had! Loved the house and the privacy. The house is wide open and was perfect for our bug family. Didnt have to worry about the kids being on the front porch on this huge property

There were holes in the couches, contacted the owner and he knew about it didn't contact us to let is know, properly wasn't clean sent pictures with e idence of bugs, gum and just overall not satisfied with property. Lots of damages to walls and proprty. Hot water in showers were not hot. We rented property for a month owner didn't seem to care about our satisfied. Owner was on and off the property during the stay wasn't the slucluded trip we were looking for after all the money we spent. We left the property in a spotless condition and even did all the laundry oher than the sheets but we did strip the beds. Overall just not the experience or cozy place we wanted.Here is a polished, professional version of your message that clearly explains your concerns while still sounding firm and reasonable:We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon arrival, we noticed there were holes in the couches, which the owner later admitted he was already aware of but did not disclose to us prior to our arrival. The property was not properly cleaned — we provided photos showing evidence of bugs, gum left behind, and overall unclean conditions.There were also numerous damages to the walls and other areas of the property. Additionally, the hot water in the showers never got hot, which was a major inconvenience during our month-long stay.We rented this property for an entire month and expected a comfortable, secluded experience, especially considering the amount of money
