Visiting for a wedding in Austin

This was a very pleasant place to stay. Clean, neat, stylish, travelling around to North Austin wasn't as hard as we expected. Great place to stay. Totally and highly recommend staying here. Worst part of the trip was parking garages in downtown Austin. šŸ˜†

Austin in December

Visiting family and needed a house to accommodate 4 adults with location close to everything. This house was perfect for our needs. It was clean, well stocked, comfortable and was easy to get anywhere you want to go. Host responded quickly to all communication . Easy to get into house etc. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect!

Gwen was extremely accommodating and in touch to see if there was anything we needed. House is very close to our activities and very well appointed. Extremely clean and great showers. Would stay again easily, and recommend highly if youā€™d like to be near wildflower exhibit, downtown or south Austin music and fun. Thanks Gwen for Al you did to make our visit great!

Excellent all around

Property itself was great, plenty of space, well stocked with everything you could reasonably need. I did not have my child along, but the presence of child toys and plates/silverware was a welcome sight knowing how helpful that would be if they were. Everything was comfortable and both check in and check out were an easy process. The real star though is the host. They were accommodating and ensured everything was going smoothly and see if there was anything we needed. Greatly appreciated to know that they care.

Perfect for Bachelorette

We had the best time staying here for my bachelorette. The neighborhood is a little older and is half run down half remodeled houses but that seems to be most of Austin. When we walked in we were shocked by the size of the house and the rooms because the pics make it look on the smaller side! It was so spacious and we all are still talking about how comfy the beds were. The host was super accommodating too and responded to everything quickly. We loved this house and wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay again.

Cozy House, perfect for a small group.

Clean and cozy place with a relatively easy commute to downtown and surrounding areas. The house was as photographed. Our group of five had plenty of space. While we never heard from the property manager, it was easy to reach the owner, who was very friendly and professional, through the app for check-in. The place had all the instructions for arrival and departure. The house is located in an older neighborhood and felt safe and private. Also, it was very close to the airport. Perfect for early departures.

The property looks pretty much exactly as it does online. Itā€™s well stocked with towels, cutlery, basic spices, and kitchen and laundry supplies. The location is central to many of the popular spots in Austin. We were just adults but this would be a good option for families as it comes with a crib and games. I took off half a star because it does need a few tweaks, the main one being that the door to the in-suite bathroom doesnā€™t close all the way,, it stays open by an inch. Wasnā€™t too much of a problem since I had the bedroom and bathroom to myself, but that may be a problem for other guests. Other minor issues being one luggage stand in one of the bedrooms was broken and so was the ceiling light in another room.

Fantastic Location

House looked exactly like the pictures if not better. Ample supply of towels and bedding available. Beds were very comfortable and blankets were super soft. Both AC and Heater worked great! We needed both during our short stay due to the drastic change in temperature during our short stay. Hot tub was nice and hot and clean! Check in and check out were super easy. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location/neighborhood was great! We were less than 20 minutes from everything. The only downside is that the house is located right near some train tracks that were very loud, we didnā€™t immediately realize it was the sound of train, but we got used to the sound of them pretty quickly.

Comfortable Overall

This house has a nice big kitchen which made it easy for a large group. All of the appliances in the kitchen are in good working condition and the kitchen is sufficiently supplied. The family room is big also and lots of seating. The beds are comfortable and the location is convenient to downtown and Barton Springs. There are a couple maintenance items that need to be cared for. The water pressure in the master bath sink is very minimal. There is a very loud squeak on one of the bedroom doors that woke others up in the night when using the bathroom. Also in the same room, the closet door is broken. The bedrooms have no dressers for clothing storage and there were no hangers in the closets which made it challenging for a week-long stay. We borrowed hangers from our Austin-based family members. Overall, the house was good for the price. With these maintenance items cared for, particularly the squeaky door, the house is recommended.
