Large Salmon Creek Home • Mt Hood Ski, Hike & Golf
Summary:
Salmon Creek Cabin is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still close to all of the amenities the Mount Hood area has to offer. Golf, Skiing, hiking, rafting, fishing all with in 15-min from the home. Many local family eateries just a short drive away. SkiBowl is great all year long. The home has a open floorplan with vaulted ceiling. Enjoy the covered patio for BBQ dinner next to the bubbling brook just out back. No TV is provided, but we have great Wi-Fi for streaming your devices.
The Space:
Salmon Creek Cabin is a 1960's cabin with lots of modern updates. The great room has large windows and a beautiful view of nature. The thoughtful placement of furniture gives everyone in your group a place to enjoy their favorite activities. A large dining table for family meals. The breakfast nook off the kitchen is a great place to socialize and cook at the same time. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes silverware, pots and pans. It has a large fridge, wine/beer cooler and dishwasher. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. Each bedroom has phone charging pads built in to the bedside lamps. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The large garage is available to park inside, if needed, and still has room to store your outdoor gear. The home is heated and cooled with a heat pump and mini splits.
Guest Access:
The entire home is for your use. There is plenty of parking on a level lot. Enough for 4-5 cars
The Neighborhood:
Tucked away off the main road in a quiet neighborhood. The road into the neighborhood can be bumpy so drive slowly.
Getting Around:
A car with clearance is recommended, especially when there is snow. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. No public transportation runs down this street and there are no taxis in the area. However, the Mtn. Express runs up and down HWY 26 so you could bike from the Thriftway to this home if you wanted.
Other Things to Note:
- No TV is provided, but we have great Wi-Fi for streaming your devices.
- Inside fireplace is Electric and usable.
- Exterior fireplace is not usable.
