Cozy and perfect!

I came to Marshall for business reasons and stayed by myself. This place is a little slice of heaven. It is so cozy. It had everything that I needed. So much better than staying in a hotel.Beautiful views!

Great place, wonderful vista’s. Just as described.

A girls getaway weekend. We had a blast shopping in Marshall and ate a local eatery. Casino at night. Walked the beautiful property amidst the glorious color this weekend. My friend took the bedroom and I took the futon. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would go there again!

Great short Christmas Visit

We really loved the property and my kids were excited to find the miniature ponies in the back. It was conveniently close to downtown Marshall and 94 which made it a great stop for us while we did some Christmas travel. My kids were really disappointed about the chickens not being there, particularly after the message from owners gave directions for finding them (they eventually responded letting us know that the chickens had been lost to a predator after another guest left the coop door open). It would've been better to know that in advance. Overall it was a great space in a good location, despite a bit of highway noise.

Cute Place

The Hay Loft was cute as can be. Loved sitting on the rockers on the balcony enjoying the stars at night and the farm in daylight. The Hay Loft was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Wedding weekend

We stayed at the hay loft for my nephew’s nearby wedding. Thankfully we knew the people in the main house as the stairway up was right outside the sliding glass door to their kitchen. The loft was very clean and adorable but definitely doesn’t “sleep” 6. Our adult daughter was on our air mattress. There is no door on the one bedroom so that was little awkward but we made it work. Also, access to the bathroom is only be going through the bedroom. Could be a bigger issue depending on who you are staying with. Perfect little spot for an individual couple.

Great for two

Nice property, very clean and great owner. What wasn't clear in the description was how the bathroom is in the back and you must walk through the 1 bedroom to get there. The beautiful hardwood floors are very creaky by the bed in route to it, and there is no door separating the sleeper couch from the bedroom. The only other issue was the 3/4 fridge which had no freezer. The kitchenette was well equipped but no disposal or dishwasher. The bed and pull-out were comfortable and we slept well unless someone needed to use the restroom.

Wonderful mom and daughter getaway

My daughter and I enjoyed everything. There was everything you needed for your stay. We enjoyed the horses, chickens, and the beautiful night sky.

Piece of Heaven.

My daughter and I lived the loft. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Just what we needed to recharge. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home.

Had a opportunity to stay at the peak of Fall colors. Had such a wonderful stay. We hope to make the trip up from Tennessee stay every year. The chickens & mini horses was such a treat. Thank you.

Cute little place!

This place was great! We had a hiccup with the heat because it was the first time it needed to be on but the owners came out to fix it right away!!! The rest of the stay was wonderful. The kids loved getting to pat the mini horses and get eggs from the chickens. It was also super close to the tesla supercharger. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Michigan!

A dreamy farm stay

We really loved this place - it was clean and beautifully designed, the AC kept us cool from the heat, and the hosts are very thoughtful. Our kids had such a blast feeding the chickens and the mini horses, as well as catching lighting bugs. This place is truly special.

Warm golden days and cool blue nights at the farm

It's a little piece of country heaven for folks like me, looking to get away from the buzz and bother of the city. I miss the friendly chickens and their fresh eggs, and the little horsies too! It's a clean, pretty, well-designed space inside. Hard to imagine better!

The Hay Loft is exactly as depicted on the site. Very clean and everything I could need or want!

This property is minutes from the highway a quick drive into the quaint town of Marshall, but might as well be miles away. It's a beautiful midwestern farm complete with big red barn, miniature ponies, free-range chickens, farm fresh eggs, barn cats and more. The Hay Loft itself is very clean and just lovely. So quiet and peaceful. The hosts are just wonderful. Very thoughtful and helpful, but also very respectful of privacy. The bed is very comfortable as well. They've done a wonderful job with renovations and mixing old with modern. Weather it's a quick get-away for yourself or a couple or small family with kids, you will love the Hay Loft and the farm!

Their place was perfect for my getaway alone. The size was great and it was extremely clean. I enjoyed feeding the animals and having fresh eggs for breakfast. I highly recommend this location.

Quaint and cozy

The house was beautiful, very clean, nice view of farm property, convenient location off I69 in Marshall, MI. The bed was very comfortable and clean, bathroom was modern and spacious. We will probably be back to use it for our kayaking trips nearby.

Cozy Long Weekend

We had such a spending time. The property is gorgeous and very kid friendly. The ponies, horse and chickens were wildly entertaining. My girls spents hours looking for the illusive cat. The property is so chic and beautiful decorated.
