In the Heart of Marquette
One of the best features of Four Square House is its location.
Step outside and you’re just half a block from the vibrant Third Street district, home to local restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and unique boutiques. Downtown Marquette is an easy five-block walk, while Lake Superior’s beaches, parks, and shoreline are all within walking distance. Northern Michigan University, Marquette Mountain, the South Trails, and UP Health System–Marquette are only a short drive away.
Whether you’re here for outdoor adventure, a family vacation, a wedding, NMU events, or simply to relax along the shores of Lake Superior, you’ll be perfectly situated to experience the very best of Marquette.
Stay Like a Local
As longtime Marquette residents, we love sharing our favorite places—from hidden hiking trails and scenic overlooks to local restaurants, beaches, and community events. Our goal is to help guests experience Marquette the way locals do.
We also own the beautifully restored Hewitt Onion Tower, located next door. Guests staying at Four Square House are welcome to request access to the shared fitness room located on that property.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home and sharing a little piece of the Marquette community we
