This is our second time staying here. We love it! Very spacious, has everything you could ask for and that view - AMAZING!Sofie and Delores are great even after our nightmare journey to get there - arriving late. Nothing is a bother. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a comfortable house with great views. We also liked that we could go on trips with being dependent on our car. The trainstation is close by.

Lovely clean apartment with beautiful views great space and proximity to old town. Pool was a great extra and walk up and down to town kept us fit. Lovely holiday definitely come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofia’s apartment. The views were amazing especially on a stormy night and day!There is everything you could possibly need in the accommodation and the pool was lovely, never busy. We chose not to take a car and used the train to explore all the different areas which worked perfectly.We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and Sofie checked in with us before, during and after our stay which was lovely.Thanks again

Location location location

My wife and I had an extended stay at this extremely well located apartment with amazing views. The apartment is on the second floor of a large apartment building with beautiful gardens and an excellent pool. The owner was easy to deal with and everything went very smoothly. We would go back.

Vacation

The apartment offers an amazing view on the sea and the historic center of Menton. Check-in with local contact went smoothly. Also the landlord was very responsive and proactive. Overall highly recommended.

Nice apartment with fantastic views

The apartment is nice, and the photos and description present it accurately, The views from the patios are fantastic. Even during a heatwave, the apartment and patios are comfortable. The pool and the entire building complex, including the vegetation, are well maintained. My family and I spent a nice vacation here.

Second vacation at this lovely apartment

This was our second time staying in the apartment. It's perfectly located with lovely views of Menton. It's a 15 min walk to the town centre, 5-10mins to the beaches and 5 mins to the nearest supermarket. The apartment is in a secure gated location with all the amenities you need for a vacation with children. We highly recommend.

Great stay

This was the second time we stayed in this apartment and we again found the experience truly wonderful. The apartment is wonderful and exactly as described: great location, very well equipped and with spectacular views across the Mediterranean and Menton. The communication with the owner Sofie is excellent. On site, Dolores helped us settle in and she also answered some questions we had during our stay. Menton is a lovely town and there is lots to see and do close by, by foot, bike, train or car. In sum, this apartment is superb and we would gladly come again!

Again quiet stunning and lovely days in Garavan

We had like last Xmas and New years lovely days in Mme Lauriers belle appartement .... see for details our review from January 2022. The only reason the issue cleanliness is not rated 5 stars this year, is an issue for which the owner had no responsability or knowledge of - which could be and was handled relaitvely easy. All of this to say -- hope to be back again - and if at all possible for a longer stay than six nights. All the best from Bingen & Svensson

Beautiful days again in Garavan

Third stay over New Years will hopefully not be the last for our family.In case need more details on appraisals and appartment - look up my two previous reviews. Lovely far reaching´and undisturbed views + 180 degrees from Italy towards Menton from the different terrasses and rooms - quiet immeuble (not many residents present this time), safe and very well kept garden and pool area (hope to revisit during warmer period soon) ... lovely walks along Garavan ... and this time even up via Super Garavan... so much to enjoy; on top of Mme Lauriers exceptional (and swift) hospitality. Only thing that keeps us from planning a stay in spring or autumn 2024 already is too few days in the year. Thank you Mme Laurier - and Dolores as well - from Maria

Absolutely Stunning Location! Stress-Free Vacation!

Back from the vacation, we are missing this apartment so much!  Sofie is an amazing host & owner of this lovely apartment! She has a very dedicated staff / Dolores, who not only does the house-keeping for this apartment, but also understands how to go above and beyond in hospitality on behalf of Sofie!  It was very easy and simple to communicate with both. Dolores was very kind to help us with the arrival to the apartment. She gave us a very informative tour of this apartment related to all functions of screens, safety, appliances, trash disposal, etc. Everything was awesome. Very well decorated! Fantastic views of the Italian border, the mountains the sea and the basilica, Menton centre-ville. It could not get better than this!! While we were curious to figure out about the local transportation system, we found an excellent file-folder created by the owner! The amount of effort it must have taken to include all information about every need of the guests! It was an amazing collection of useful information in that file! The furniture was comfortable and very calming with interplay of the colors of the Cote D’Azur! The Blue Mediterranean colors were displayed in décor very beautifully! We loved the garden, we enjoyed the balconies and garden patios, the sun-rise and sunsets from this beautifully located apartment! The building is gated, and very safe. The swimming pool was very clean and grand, although we did not use it. We enjoyed the proximity to the grocery store, although returning uphill was a challenge. But it was all fun as a part of the vacation! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Clean wooden floors. Kitchen was very well-equipped with all the stuff you need! I love the colorful mugs!  There was also a welcome Rose’ Wine bottle in the fridge. Cheers!! Overall, we had a fabulous vacation! We have lovely memories of this apartment! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und perfekt für unsere 4 köpfige Familie. 2 tolle Schlafzimmer beide mit Bad, Meerblick und Zugang zu einer grandiosen Terrasse inkl Balkon. Der Ausblick war phänomenal und besser als auf den Bildern zu sehen.Die Anlage verfügt über einen Pool der perfekt gepflegt und im grünen eingebettet ist. Für uns war die Lage perfekt, etwas außerhalb aber alles fußläufig zu erreichen von 10 Minuten Strand bis 15 Minuten Stadt. Menton ist wie aus dem Bilderbuch malerische Altstadt mit schönen Gassen und Treppen jede Menge Restaurants und Bars.Parkplatz unmittelbar vorm Haus das sich in einem geschlossenen Komplex befindet. Das Auto haben wir für einen Großeinkauf und Ausflug zum höchsten Küstendorf Europas (must see) benötigt. Für Monaco, Nizza und andere Ausflüge empfehlen wir den Zug. 4 Personen für unter 15Euro nach Monaco wirklich supergünstig.Grüße an Dolores und Sophie wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist grandios. Die Wohnung besitzt einen sehr großen Balkon mit einer super Aussicht auf Menton, den Strand und den Yachthafen. Die Wohnanlage war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Direkt außerhalb der Wohnanlage gelangt man bergab über eine Treppe direkt an den Yachthafen / Strand (Gehzeit ca. 15 Minuten). Der Check-In gestaltete sich auf Grund von Verständigungsproblemen (kein Englisch) etwas problematisch. Wir hätten uns im Wohnzimmer einen weiteren Sessel gewünscht. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt und sollten wir noch einmal nach Menton kommen würden wir sie erneut buchen.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir waren zwei Wochen lang zu dritt in diesem tollen Apartment und fanden keinen Grund, uns zu beklagen. Zwar wohnten wir ca. 60 m über dem Meer, doch war der Weg dorthin recht kurz, wenn auch für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht geeignet. Dort befindet sich auch ein Supermarkt, der alles vorrätig hat, was man normalerweise braucht. Die Wohnung ist superb. Zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder; was will man mehr. Aber das absolute Highlight sind die beiden Terrassen mit Blick auf das Meer und die malerische Altstadt. Jeden Abend kündigte uns St.Michel Punkt 7 Uhr an, dass nun Zeit für den Apéritiv ist, was wir ausgiebig genossen, bevor wir uns in der bestens ausgestatteten Küche an die Zubereitung unseres Abendessens machten bzw. auf den Weg durch die wunderschöne Altstadt zu einem der vielen Restaurants.Besonders praktisch ist die fantastische Bahnanbindung: sei es nach Nizza, Antibes, Monaco, Ventimiglia, Sanremo und viele andere Orte zwischen Marseille und Genua. Wir haben das Auto nur ein einziges Mal für den Großeinkauf im Hypermarché hinter der Autobahn gebraucht, der Bahnhof Garavan ist quasi um die Ecke.Mit anderen Worten: perfekt!

Traumblick über Menton

Ich kann mich den vorherigen Bewertungen nur anschließen: Die Wohnung ist wirklich schön und die Aussicht vom Balkon bzw. von der Dachterrasse ist phänomenal! Auch der Pool und die Lage der Wohnung (ruhige Nachbarschaft und gleichzeitig fußläufig zur Altstadt, zum Badestrand und zum Bahnhof) haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank auch an Sofie und Dolores für die freundliche Kommunikation!
