We had a great stay at Twin Dolphin 1B! The location was perfect for the beach portion of our Costa Rica vacation with my wife and son. The property was comfortable, clean, and gave us a great home base for exploring Playa Flamingo, Potrero, and the surrounding beaches.We especially loved being so close to the ocean. Being able to walk down the beach and explore the area without always getting in the car was a huge plus. We also did a sunset catamaran trip while we were there, which was one of the highlights of our trip.KRAIN was very responsive and provided plenty of information before our arrival. Check-in was easy, and communication throughout our stay was excellent.After spending the first part of our vacation exploring the rainforest and Arenal area, this was exactly what we wanted for the second half of the trip—a comfortable place near the beach where we could slow down, relax, and enjoy the Guanacaste coast.We would definitely recommend Twin Dolphin and would happily stay here again!

Overall we loved this place! Such a relaxing place to end our time in CR. The check in process was a lot, having to fill out extra forms the day of arrival before receiving the address amend door codes. For someone just flying in, that would be tricky. The kids loved the pool and we loved being right on the beach with the gorgeous sunsets. The AC wasn't working well in the main living area. They sent someone to look at it right away but did not have the coolant to fix it. Thankfully the other units and fan kept it a reasonable temp inside.

Great L:ocation - Nice Stay

Property was clean, safe and in a great location. The pool was good and direct access to the beach was great. Everyone was great. The condo did provide beach towels. beach chairs and beach mats. We had a great week in CR.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: very nice indeed, but during our visit we had a lot of construction noice during the day , because they are improving the property.

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend!We were hesitant to book based on the mixed reviews but didn’t have any issues with noise (though we didn’t have anyone directly above). While the furniture/mixtures were dated it was fine for a short stay. Pros:- Location is tough to beat. I loved early morning and sunset beach walks. Our toddler loved playing in the waves though it was a bit too rough to swim in.- the interior was more spacious than we expected and the XL showers with tons of towel hooks was so handy with a kiddo- the little pool is nice for a quick dip and there are steps etc for kids- there are shops/restaurants closebyCons:- not related to the home itself, but we weren’t too crazy about the town itself. Felt like a main busy road with a strip mall feel. Aside from the beach, no cute pedestrian areas etc to walk around - while the beach was nice it’s definitely average for the area. There are nearby ones that were a quick drive away (10-15 min drive) that have white sand, calm waters etc

Stay away from this place. We made this reservations months in advanced. We were traveling with children and the day before our arrival they canceled our reservation without any justification. We were left stranded trying to figure out where to go and what to rent last minute. Probably because they sold it for a higher price after the fact. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE.

Obsolete and need urgent renovation

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: almost everything was in bad condition and obsolete. At first sight:except for the refrigerator and oven, every other electric appliance was or dirty or in a bad condition.Deteriorated dishes of unimaginable quality.Dirty: washing machine: full of mildew; Clothes dryer filter was full of lint and more; dishwasher was dirty and having door filled with crusted soap and needed to be cleaned three time before used; Laundry room is a storeroom for old empty plastic bags, brooms, empty plastic jugs etc... and very dirty. toaster was so dirty, filled with bread left over(crust)which take on fire....let see now for the living room: the sofa is ruined.Same for the patio set.Bedrooms: Store are unusable... and the curtains I let you judged by yourself their condition.it is not our first rental with Krain Costa Rica and were always satisfied.I think you must improved the condition of this rental if you want to keep your good reputation.

Reviewer Comments: En general el lugar, el ambiente y las instalaiones en general satisfacieron nuestras espectativas y podemos indica que estamos complacidos.Sin embargo si debemos anotar que las instalaciones no estaban totalmente limpias, encontramos restos de alimentos ya cocinados y en estado de descomoposició. Por otra parte nos llevamos la sorpresa de que una de las toallas de playa, la sábana de la cama grande y dos almohadas estaban impregnadas de sangre, lom cual nos molest{oEl Administrador nos atendió ante una llamada nuestra y se pudo arreglar una de las duchas que no tenía presión y nos solucionó lo de la comida, no así lo de la sangre porque no la notamos hasta un día después y no lo contactamos.El administrador fue amable cuando hablamos con él.A pesar de la situación presentada estamos satisfechos con el estamos de las instalaciones y el panorama fue muy bonito
