This private garden condo is on the first floor of the south side of the building ...about 60 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

Just steps from Keawakapu Beach is Hale Hui Kai unit 102 with a full kitchen, an open floor plan living area, as well as both an indoor and outdoor dining space. Each bedroom is equipped with with a king size bed, air conditioning, and noise quieting windows. This condo has two full bathrooms, one with a shower bathtub combo and the other has a walk in shower. This rental has a high efficiency Split system AC, one unit in each bedroom and one in the living room. At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun.

Bello Realty, Inc. has been managing vacation rentals on Maui since the 1980's and is the premier on site management office at Hale Hui Kai. Our staff is available to assist you during your visit with any questions you may have as well as local recommendations and booking a return visit!

30 yards from the beach!

Terrific location, quiet end of Kihei. Mellow surf, great beach. Apartment was clean, well be stocked, including coffee grinder! Plenty of towels. Cool patio.

better than expected

Location was fabulous. Office really helpful.Well stocked kitchen Beds comfortable,addition linen available in unit.Loved the Lanai. Great beach chairs and umbrellas and boogie board. If I had to be picky -the iving room chairs need some stuffing in the seats. Bath room in master bedroom has a partially open toilet area just fyi. We loved this place and are planning on coming back

Great Beach Stay

We had a great time here. The complex was fantastic, right on the beach. We loved being able to walk down the path and snorkel in one of our favorite spots. We enjoyed the main complex lanai and spent an afternoon watching kite surfing when the winds came up. The unit is very quiet with limited natural light. It's well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. We liked being at the end of the path and the condo lanai felt very private. As others mentioned, there was a musty, unpleasant odor in both bedrooms. We informed the property manager and had them remove a few pillows, which helped a bit.

Location, location, location!!!

This place was simply amazing. Kitchen was fully stocked with popcorn makers, blender, spices, can opener, silverware, pots, pans, coffee pot, just everyrhing you could need. Beds were comfy, not just cheapo spring matresses at all. Having individual ACs in the bedrooms made customizing sleep temps even better. Right on the beach. Less than 30 mins from the airport. Close to shopping, food, bars, and all. The condo does have quiet hours from 8pm-8am, which was perfect for us 4 ladies (ages 38+) staying there, but might not be great for families with smaller children. Same for the pool rules, no jumping, no splashing, no loud noises or games with noises....great for us, but again might not be good for families with small children. Place was amazing!!!

Nice and Tired

The location is wonderful. Easy access To the beach. That said, the back bedroom has a musty smell to it that doesn’t go away, with a feeling if dampness. The safe was broken and unusable. The furniture pillows were tired and it was a little difficult getting out of the living room chairs. I’ll stay at tye location again, as I have many times In the past. However, I’ll be a Little more decisive to not use this particular unit again.

It is close to all restaurants, and lots of fun things to do near by.Definitely I recommend the location, but I would like to have an ocean view next time!The condo was good but you don’t have a lot of natural light coming through, and the condo definitely needs an upgrade in furniture, bedding, appliances, etc. The condo was not thoroughly cleaned as I had to vacuum some rooms myself and wipe down some counters as well. Luckily, there was cleaning products provided. It is very expensive and I would like that to be reflected in the quality of stay, and this condo did not meet those expectations. However, the location was amazing. 5/5 stars on that.

Wonderful Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was great. This is the second time staying in 102. The only suggestion I have is to have some type of runners (carpet) along the bed sides. It’s the beach right, but no matter what you drag sand into your bed. We found ourselves remaking the bed to get the sand from our feet out. Having a a runner gives you something to wipe your feet before climbing into bed. Other than that I would recommend and rebook condo 102.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in an ideal location for our family, on the beach, close to all the south Maui beaches. It couldn't have been any better. The condo itself was nice. We did not appreciate the bathroom being in the main bedroom without a door to separate the two. That's just not our style so that was a definite drawback for us, but we swapped rooms and it all worked out. We didn't enjoy the tiny little bugs all around the kitchen sink area. I don't know if the bug traps in the kitchen are for them or other bugs, but looking at the bugs and then the bug traps every time we made food was a little irritating, but again, not the end of the world. We loved seeing the sun set from the common area and even had a birthday dinner with my son there. The grounds and building are very well maintained. We definitely appreciated the wooden hanging rack on the patio for wet swimsuits and the check out process was as simple as the check-in. We'd definitely go back, but I think we'd find a different unit that had a different bathroom set up. As for activities, we went snorkeling at Molokini and did a whale watch boat trip, both left from the boat dock just a 5-minute drive away. And if you like sea turtles and sunsets, go to the boat dock area around sunset. We were lucky enough to see the beautiful sunset in the background and 3 sea turtles sound asleep on the beach in the foreground. It was awesome.

Beds were comfortable and we ate more than 50% of our meals in because it was so comfortable and equipped. The location on bottom floor is in the back, we were worried about trash noice or noice from people coming and going to cars. No problems at all. Privite patio is great for kids

Magical Maui

We had a lovely time. The location is perfect for relaxing, swimming and enjoying the sunsets. The decor, kitchen and design of the place is lovely. The beds are comfy. We love this place and can’t wait to come back next summer.

The place was clean & we liked the set up & patio. We ate breakfast every morning out on the patio watching the lizards & listening to the ocean. The one negative was we had to kill 2 smallish roaches in the kitchen during our stay. We alerted the grounds keeper & he gave us some traps to put in the kitchen. We didn’t see any others afterwards. We alerted the property manager & she told us it’s a common pest in such a tropical area & they spray to keep them away. Thankfully we did not see any in our bedrooms. I would stay here again b/c of the location & amazing beach just steps away!

It was only steps away from a clean and inviting beach -- so nice to just come out of the water and into your own shower without driving. The hardworking staff was always busy keeping the walkways and pool clean, and everyone was extremely friendly. Kehei prices, but right on the border of upscale Wailea. I'm already about to book again for next year.
