Enjoy one of the best kept secrets in the Resort's Village at Baytowne Wharf! Our 3BR-3BA Pilot House condo features 1,413 square feet of well-designed living space. With an open floor plan and balcony access, the main living area is a comfortable family gathering place. Enjoy relaxing on the outdoor lounge furniture and take advantage of our outdoor balcony beverage bar! Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal, and there is a stackable washer/dryer in the unit.

The master bedroom is delightfully furnished with a king bed and offers an adjoining master bath. The cozy second bedroom features a queen bed and is conveniently located across the hallway from the second bath. The roomy third bedroom ā€œlock-offā€ studio is complete with two queen beds, a kitchenette, an adjoining bath, and a doorway that connects to the main condo. There is a separate entry door for the third bedroom which makes it perfect for vacationing with friends or teens.

The Pilot House tropical swimming pool complex is perhaps the most spectacular on the Resort! There is a kiddie pool, hot tub, cold tub, grill area, play yard, picnic area, and fitness center located just a few steps away!

The Pilot House is located at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The village is the hub for dining establishments, boutique shopping, live entertainment, a playground, zip line and more at the Resort. There are also events in the common area including concerts, movies on the lawn and weekly fireworks.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ants were everywhere, they had any killer under the sink so they know it's an issue. Needs updating, beds hard, pillows worn, carpet in bedrooms needs to go. Nothing special, Gets the job done.

Great Condo- parking issues

Our family came into town for a wedding. We chose this rental due to location in the village area, as well as the fact that there were no stairs in the unit since we have small children. Check in was easy and communication was good. The unit was clean and we had a good amount of space for our family members staying with us, as well as 1 bathroom per room which is great. The unit had everything we needed. We took the shuttle to the beach which was great. The beach was packed but thatā€™s to be expected. The parking was a bit of a nightmare, which we didnā€™t realize would be the case ahead of time, as the listing said there would be one spot available for the unit. The designated lot was full on multiple occasions, leaving us to park around 1/4 mile away in the overflow lot, which is obviously not ideal in the Florida heat. We also had issues with the air conditioning. The management company was responsive and sent someone out the following day. Ultimately, it was a good rental, but the parking situation would deter us from staying here again.

Girls Shopping

The room was really spacious. We loved the shower in the primary bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. Very close to Baytown Wharf. Going this time of year, it was very quite down the hallways. Would definitely reserve again

Wonderful Family Vacation

The condo in the Pilot House was amazing. We squeezed 10 adjusts and two little ones in this beautiful 3 bedroom space. Some dishes were dirty and tears in one kitchen chair were not ideal. The blue wicker swing on the deck needs to be replaced as it sheds none stop. Other than those few complaints, it was just wonderful. Sandestin resort is gorgeous and we made the most of our time on this vacation. I would definitely come back again.

Family vacation

Not a accurate description of the property/location. There was no way the condo was 1400 sq ft. The second bedroom did not have a king size bed. The third bedroom had its own air conditioner and thermostat, we could not get it cold in there. The dryer did not dry properly. Pool on third floor was not as large as the pictures made it look. Overall it was a ok experience. Not interested in returning to this location.

Lovely Condo in Baytowne Village!

We just returned from a stay at the condo and it was wonderful! Communication with the owner was the best I've experienced with rental properties. He replied quickly and provided coolers with ice when the fridge needed replacing at the start of our week. The rooms are comfortable; one king, one queen, and lock out unit has two queens; plenty of closet space; well stocked kitchen for dining in; carpet in bedrooms probably needs replacing at some point; easy beach access via tram practically outside the front door of the Pilot House; lots of fun restaurants in the Village (highly recommend the Crazy Lobster), One parking space per unit and the garage fills up quickly during busy season and weekends! Overall a great vacation and we highly recommend this lovely condo. Many thanks to the owner for being so helpful!

The pool was fun and we loved being so close to Baytowne. We never had to drive our car. Only downside was that the condo could use a little work and updating. Porch looked rough and dirty when we got there and carpets could use a good cleaning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our trip to Destin and this unit! Loved the convenience of the unit. Close to the festivities, but little to no outside noise. The dryer took several cycles to fully dry items and the AC unit in 407 was very loud (kids were in that side, however, had adults been staying there, it would not have been tolerable). The kitchen was well stocked and the master bath was wonderful!
