The third floor is a crowā€™s nest that overlooks all of baytowne and a perfect spot to sip wine while watching the sunset or watching the sunrise with coffee to start a wonderful day.
While staying in this pristine penthouse, your right in the center of all the action the Baytown wharf has to offer,such as fantastic restaurants ,bars and plenty of shopping.The kitchen is fully stocked if Your in the desire is to cook a gourmet meal.Plenty of seating for a dining experience as a large table for six and four chairs at the kitchen counter.

Nice, very conveniently located inside The Wharf of Baytown. We enjoyed all the amenities the penthouse had to offer including the restaurants and shops just steps away from the entrance. The pool area on the 3rd level is of the building is wonderful. The beach is only a few minutes away with sugar white sand emerald green water not too mention Itā€™s a wonderful place to stay.

Wow!

This property is incredible! It was perfect for our group of eight. The location is absolutely perfect with access to all Baytowne Whaf has to offer. The fireworks show from the Croweā€™s nest is unbelievable! Everyine had their own private space, but the living space is just the right size foe family gatherings as well. It comes equipped with everything you need for the week and the trams to the beach are very convenient. I canā€™t recommend it strongly enough!

Spring Break 2025

We had a lovely stay at this property in Destin. The location cannot be beat and the views were stunning. The host is lovely and very responsive. The listing does say there are two bedrooms with king beds but there is only one master with a kind bed. We would definitely consider this property if we decide to come back to Destin in the future.

Very nice property

The location was excellent for our tennis group and we enjoyed sitting in the crowā€™s nest at night. The size of the property was perfect for our group of 7. We would definitely stay there again.

Home of the crows nest

Plenty of room for 10 people. There was enough seating for all 10 of us to enjoy a meal together. We all had a great time and would stay again.

We stay here every year, itā€™s our favorite when we visit. The property owner is more than accommodating and very helpful if you have any problems. Location is perfect if you like to eat, nightlife, beach , and is a short drive to Destin. Iā€™m sure we will enjoy this location for many years to come.

Bachelor Trip

I took my son and his groomsmen on his bachelor trip and chose this location so that we didn't have to all stay together 24/7. With so much to do, right there in one location, everyone could do what they wanted when they wanted, without having to all pack in cars and leave. We did play golf each day which was also convenient from this location. It was perfect.

Great time in Sandestin

Prime location in Baytowne Wharf. We went in June so the beach was very crowded. Cost $80 a day to rent an umbrella and 2 chairs since we were not Sandestin Club members. The condo was a good fit for the 9 of us. It was easy to catch the shuttle to the beach. David was an excellent host. He was available to answer all of our questions and I asked a lot of questions! I would highly recommend this spot.

Rude management, not near beach at all

I had to leave midway through the 4 night trip. I have in writing, on my phone, that the management would take me off all liability and costs for the remainder of the trip. Once I had left the property and flown back home, he tried to retract his statement and hung up on me. Also it took us, on a Friday afternoon almost 30 minutes to even reach the parking lot for the beach. Then forget about the treck to the ramp that then leads to the beach!

Iā€™ll start with the bad. Upon check in we noticed the couch wasnā€™t usable. It was a hide a bed couch and had previously had a damaged bar and wouldnā€™t fold up right. Called Dave and within 2 hours he called and said he had arranged delivery for a new couch first thing Monday morning. This was on Saturday at 6pm. Thatā€™s some hustle. He had to jump through some hoops for that one. Itā€™s really not even worth mentioning but I wanted to highlight his character with how he handled it. And he bought us dinner that night for the trouble. It really was the perfect location for us and the balcony and crows nest loft was amazing for the fireworks and drone show. Could sit on the balcony and watch all the shows and events every night in the plaza. We were pleased with all the restaurants in Baytown with the exception of one. It was a big help to stay here and have so much to do with golf and everything else. Would definitely love to come stay here again and this host was more than accommodating and always available for questions leading up to our arrival. I canā€™t really comment on utensils or any of that as all we used was the coffee pot microwave and toaster. But a nice big table to sit at and dine if you did want to cook. We used it to play games some nights and was really nice. HUGE tv in the living room the pics didnā€™t do that justice. We were able to keep up with some ball games. Oh and the player piano is a really cool touch. Sunset in the crows nest with soft piano

Great location and space for everyone

Let me first say the property owner is absolutely the most pleasant I have ever rented from. We travel alot and have come to destin every year and mr. Gaffney was so pleasant and easy going and very prompt with communication. The location for our boys who ranged from age 14, 20 and 25 loved going down to the wharf in our down time and shopping or just grabbing ice cream. We all had enough space to spread out and enjoyed the large round table for playing uno our last night. There were 7 of us in total. The ease of access to the beach across the highway was easy and we always chose to drive our personal vehicle and never had any issues. Overall the space and location were great. There were some cosmetic and cleanliness issues that need to be addressed. There was a large knick in the sheet rock and it was on the floor when we got there. The master tub was dirty and one of the master sinks wouldn't drain. The 2nd bedroom downstairs was hot and the oscillating fan that was available didn't work. Upstairs the queen bedroom was warm as well and really could use a ceiling fan. My guys enjoyed the crows nest and the overall space was good. More cooking utensils could be added to the kitchen. The refrigerator had a crisper bin that was broken and needed to be replaced. Overall the unit needs some tlc to bring it up to par in my opinion. Overall I would recommend this property.

Fun and Food

My experience renting this property was nothing but spectacular. There is so many food options in the area including yummy ice cream shops. There is fun for the kids and many different shopping options for souvenirs. It has spontaneous views from the balconies including the town below and the bay in the distance. Our penthouse was very spacious with pretty decorations and morals on the walls. Overall a great place for a family getaway with things to do without getting in the car.
