Stay the night in a brand new, insulated and air-conditioned, one-of-a-kind Luxury Glamping Cabin! Our Luxury Glamping Cabins are fully furnished and have everything you need to stay comfortable including foam mattress beds, linens and towels, kitchenette comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, firepit and more! If you want to enjoy the great Texas outdoors without the setup and hassle of tent camping, while having all the creature comforts of home, our Luxury Glamping Cabins are for you!



With a Luxury Glamping Cabin rental, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of Sonā€™s Blue River Camp which sits on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree studded banks. Sit ā€˜round the campfire at night and gaze at the big, bright, Texas starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches which makes for a great outdoor get away from it all experience!



There are 24 Luxury Glamping Cabins in total, #ā€™s: A -H come with:

2 queen sized bed with foam mattress. They also feature a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans, and blender. We do not provide silverware and dinnerware, so be sure to bring these though linens and towels are provided. For inside entertainment and relaxation, Guests will find a TV & DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seating, hammocks, fire-pits, BBQ pits, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water and electricity.



We also have 16 Luxury Glamping Cabins #ā€™s 1 ā€“ 16 which are similar in every way but have 1 queen bed and a twin daybed. Be sure you are booking the type you want!



The unique design of our Luxury Glamping Cabins allows you to open up the entire front wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family.



There are three 5-unit bathroom trailers by our glamping cabins, thatā€™s 15 full bathrooms in total with hot water showers, for your use. Each bathroom is a bathroom unto itself and is lockable.



While at Sonā€™s Blue River Camp, guests can add a riverside cabana or covered picnic table for the day to their reservation or evening and go tubing, kayaking or fishing! Hang out at the river, lay in a hammock, tube, kayak, BBQ, play beach volleyball, swim, fish, roast marshmallows under the stars and more! Son's River Ranch has it all!



Son's River Ranch is 2 miles upriver and is our tubing/kayaking put-in location. During the warmer months we have shuttle vans and buses shuttling guests between the two properties so they can enjoy a nice float down the beautiful San Marcos River! The trip takes around 2 hours to tube and is very enjoyable!



We are located in the country but we are easy to get to. There isn't much in the immediate area as far as restaurants and shopping so it's best to bring your own food and plan to cook and BBQ. There is a convenience store and Dollar General located a few miles away as well a local favorite restaurant called Franks. A little further out you will find some of the best BBQ in the state in both Lockhart and Luling! Blue Lotus winery is also not far away as well as BS Brewery.

Great Getaway

We had a great time taking a weekday staycation at the river. We loved the location and the glamping accommodations. The facilities were very well maintained and the restrooms were very clean. We loved the camping tent set up, we had everything we could have needed. I definitely recommend it and we will be back for sure!!

Girls trip

Everything was absolutely perfect , until I went to take a shower Omg ! The shower/bathroom smelled soooo bad I gagged and almost threw up ! It smelled like someone had pooped in the shower ! Went to the one next door same thing , went into the one next door to that one Omg ! Same thing ! I would suggest they use bleach and pine sol to do an extreme cleaning ! šŸ˜©

Total surprise!

It was really pretty great! Super family friendly and such a gem just a short drive from Luling or San Marcos. I was so surprised how quiet and serene everything was. The glamping was so nice too. Great room, love having AC after a long day floating and the convenience of all the kitchen items to make a hot meal. Go check it out!

I was born and raised in this area and grew up floating the river, going to the nearby lakes, catching concerts at Gruene Hall and White Water Amphitheater. There are plenty of exciting attractions including Schlitterbahn and many other fun activities in this area!



I love going out to eat and trying new places with my Husband Jesse. I can recommend places to eat and exciting, fun places to visit. My main focus is to make sure your cabin is clean and your stay with us is comfortable and convenient! Please let us know if you need anything.

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

Son's Blue River Camp is located on the gorgeous and family friendly San Marcos River near Fentress, TX! This part of the river is ideal for tubing as there are no dangerous dams or rapids and the river flows at a nice pace allowing you to float with little to no paddling!



This section of the river is also ideal for families. You won't find the college scene here. Instead, floaters will find a beautiful blue river, outlined with majestic cypress and pecan trees which creates a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable float. And since the San Marcos River is spring-fed, the river flows nice all summer long and doesn't dry up or slow down like the Guadalupe and Frio Rivers do.



Son's River Ranch is located 2 miles upriver and is our tubing/kayaking take out. We have shuttles that run between the 2 properties every day in the summer, on most weekends in the spring and fall and by reservation in the winter. Tubing and kayaking are a must if you come to Son's Blue River Camp.

The fishing is excellent! You will routinely see Fly Fishing Guides guide trips from Fentress to our takeout. Anglers catch small mouth, large mouth, sun perch, catfish and more!



We have some of the best BBQ in the state in the local town nearby. Be sure to try City Market in Luling and Smitty's in Lockhart when you come! It's finger-licking good!



We are surrounded by large farms and ranches. Itā€™s peaceful and relaxing and the stars shine bright at night! There is so much fun to be had and things to do on the San Marcos River and Sonā€™s Blue River Camp!
