Beautiful private community on the top of Gatlinburg on Ski View Drive. Panoramic views of the mountains around and a private pool

This cabin is located near the peak of Gatlinburg, a few kilometers up the mountain. Downtown, Ober, and the National Park are all easily accessible!

Reward yourself with the BEST VIEWS!!! The roads can get windy and a little steep. Despite being mountain roads, they are well-kept. Any car can manage it, but in the winter if there is snow or ice, you will want 4WD!

Unless accompanied by a parent, ALL GUESTS must be 22 years of age or older. A maximum of six people may be present. Your reservation will be cancelled without a refund if you violate either of these conditions.

Across the street from the cabin is the pool. It operates on a seasonal basis, usually from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The opening and closing of the pool is beyond our control.


PETS NOT ALLOWED - This is an HOA rule and they strictly enforce it.

There is a basic supply of toilet paper and paper towels provided, but you should plan to buy additional supplies. There are no provisions for spices, coffee, filters, oil, food items, shampoo, etc.

The breathtaking view from this cabin requires climbing of mountain routes. Although they can be windy, they are safe in any car. Only a few miles of mountain roads lead up from downtown Gatlinburg, but you'll need 4WD if there's snow or ice on the roads.

My family and I had a lovely time in the Smoky Mountains and really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and organized and had breathtaking views of the mountains. Kitchen had all of the basics and our kids loved the arcade games. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool across the street. Host was welcoming and responsive. It is close to the national park and to Gatlinburg. We would definitely rent again.

Great Place - Family Friendly

This was a great place. I wanted to give my kids a new experience and great views and this place delivered. The house had a main level bedroom for grandma, a lofted bedroom for the kids and bedroom with a balcony for my wife and I. The key for us was that with grandma and the dog we needed somewhere that would work for all people involved. This place fit the bill. The host was great and easy to communicate with. The road up isn't for the faint of heart if you aren't familiar with driving in the mountains, but it's paved and lit. I had no issues at all, but I know it made my mother in law nervous. Go slow, take your time and it's worth the views!

Very beautiful and peaceful!

All pictures were accurate and property was as advertised! Such a beautiful view, I want to come up during the fall foliage! The road up was definitely an adventure but worth the trip up. We will definitely be booking this again

AMAZING!!!

The house was absolutely beautiful and the view OH MY GOD so worth it with the view. We had issues with hot tub and they were very attentive in getting it fixed for us. We celebrated my daughters 12th Birthday and they did everything to make it work for her birthday! I cant say enough awsome things about the place and the owners. We will be back soon!!! Very sad we are gone!

Absolutely loved staying at this cabin! The views are amazing and so was the host. She was very quick to respond and checked in to make sure everything was going ok. And seeing the bears in the backyard was such a cool experience! Cant say enough, just book it if considering!

Nice place

The property was very nice and well kept. We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and sauna were very nice. The location of the jetted tub was kind of odd and not private., but to fit all the rooms I understand why it was put where it was. Be prepared for a long windy road to get to the property but the view was amazing.

Top of the World was just that!

We had a great and enjoyable time in Top of the World chalet! Everything was just as described and we felt right at home. It was peaceful and high above the busyness of the town. The property manager kept in contact and was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Beautiful View

The view makes this place! We stayed during a snow storm in Gatlinburg and it was beautiful. However, the place is in need of serious updating. The chair in the LR is worn out and dirty, the couch has a broken end and the downstairs bedroom mattress needs replacing as it is flat and saggy. (There are two other bedrooms upstairs but we did not use so can't comment on those.) Kitchen towels were old, stained and frayed. However, bathroom towels were clean and plentiful. Also, there is mold in the downstairs bathroom shower (Tilex might help). We did not use the hot tub or jacuzzi but they were clean. We did not complain to the host about the issues because there was nothing she could do at that point but maybe our review addresses things to consider for the near future? On a positive note, the location of the home and the killer view really makes this place! Laura was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions.

Quick Mountain Get Away

We found this property fairly last minute though it was booked all around our dates we were just looking for a few days away before Christmas. My husband and I and our two daughters and newly arrived German exchange daughter made this location our base for exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge along with our little cavapoo. We had to get used to the swirly steep roads leading to the rental and were thankful it was not snowy or icy but the views from our deck made it all worthwhile. It was a short drive to Gatlinburg where we got an Ober wristband for a day and a short drive to Pigeon Forge for the Dolly Stampede. We also did nearby waterfall hikes and explored the Elkmont campground where our dog was free to join. The hot tub on the deck was a nice touch and the video game was also fun. We had tons of space for the 5 of us and enjoyed using the well stocked kitchen and full sized fridge to eat in a couple of times. We had good communication with the owner/property manager and all was smooth.
