Creek 'n Woods II is a Smoky Mountain vacation rental cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps 6-8 people, and is fully furnished-all you need to bring are your clothes and food. Pet friendly as well (Up to 2 dogs at $75 fee). The cabin is located on a creek (very kid friendly) in the woods. There are rocking chairs waiting for you on the L-shaped covered porch. The hot tub is on the back deck, and at the end of a full day of exploring all that there is to do in Haywood County and the surrounding areas, it's a great place to soak away the cares of the day (or the sore muscles and possible bruises from skiing or snowboarding). A gas grill with an extra tank of gas is also on the deck for your use. Down on the bottom deck right next to the creek we a gas firepit to relax and warm up under the market lights. There is fooseball, movies, books, puzzles, and games for your enjoyment, WiFi and expanded cable are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The cabin is just minutes from golf at the Maggie Valley Club, The Wheels Through Time Museum, Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and The Biltmore Estate.

Also nearby are Harrah's Cherokee Casino, Cherokee Museum, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, fishing, gem mining, shopping, music, and more. Nothing is too far from Maggie Valley!

What a great property, loved the outside spaces! The space and beds were comfortable. The indoors could be freshened up a bit and have some TLC. A few things need to be fixed and 2 of us had allergic reactions to something in the house - carpet, bed linens?? Overall a great place!

We stayed at this cabin at the end of October 2025 and had a great time! The cabin was clean, neat, and tidy. There is a fire pit, hot tub, and great (and spacious) porch area. The inside has a nice kitchen area, nice living room, and good size dining area. There is a gas fireplace (which we used a lot!), and plenty of room in the bedrooms. The hosts leave you plenty of activities if you have kids, including foosball, puzzles, checkers, and other games. The cabin is near many food options (I highly recommend Joeys for breakfast and J Arthurā€™s for dinner), the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is in a neighborhood with houses on each side but it was very quiet; there is also a nice little creek that you can walk down some stairs and access. The hosts will email you driving directions but know that Google is wonky and the road to get to the cabin is one way around the block with an incline to get to the cabin (and all downhill to get back to the main road).

Amazing stay

Very peaceful and beautiful! When you're out back in the hot tub or by the firepit, you feel secluded even though you're in a neighborhood. Had everything we needed for our stay and is VERY kid friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Cozy overload

This nice cabin is so cozy with magnificent decks leading down to creek with fire pit. The creekā€™s sounds were so relaxing and refreshing. Hot tub was a nice addition. We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin.

A perfect place to stay

What a beautiful cabin! We stayed in March and the stream was full and flowing. It was very peaceful, and a great location. The teens said it was their favorite part of the trip. Would definitely book again!

Pet friendly creekside cabin

Tom and Sue were very helpful and great hosts. The cabin was in a great location in the heart of Maggie Valley and in close proximity to stores, restaurants, and activities. The creakside location with wrap around porches created the perfect relaxing atmosphere!

What a great place to stay, the kitchen has everything you would need including spices. The grill, fire pit and hot tub were all in working order. The rooms and living spaces are large and yet cozy. The decks have great views and we spent a lot of the day on the bench by the creek watching our dog enjoy the outdoors. Close to restaurants and bars. Will definitely rent again.

Peaceful setting

Though this home is in a neighborhood it is very private. We enjoyed listening to the creek while sitting by the fire pit and the hot tub atea was also private and peaceful. Beds were comfortable and the living room was cozy. This was a great spot and we were very happy to have the opportunity to stay here!

Lovely creek side escape

Stayed at this property for a week with our family and dog. Communication with the owners was above and beyond. Very family and dog friendly! We particularly loved the creek with the gorgeous deck lit with Edison lighting and hot tub. Set on the end of the street so it provides a bit of privacy, even saw a deer in the back woods!

Our Second Stay!

This was our second stay at this property in Maggie Valley. Even though ownership has changed, the property and communication with the new owner was perfect! We love the location of the cabin. My two sons loved staying in the loft and playing Foosball. The creek is perfect and well maintained. They loved playing down there. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Maggie Valley in the future. Thank you!!

Home away from home

Our family of four along with two dogs spent the week in this home. Great location, stocked with everything for a home away from home experience. The house was very clean, the beds comfortable and the gated wrap around porch a treasure if you are traveling with dogs or toddlers. We appreciated all the little extras such as the supply of Starbucks coffee, the gift of home baked cookies and paper products ( paper towels, toilet paper) being provided for us. We would definitely recommend booking one of Tom and Sueā€™s four properties for a wonderful stay in the Smoky Mountains.
