Welcome to Santa Rosa Dunes, where the sun never sets!

Romantic 1 bedroom/1 bath condominium on the third floor overlooking Santa Rosa Sound and Pensacola Bay. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bath, plus view of the Gulf of Mexico and beach. Our Living Room includes a queen sized pullout couch to accommodate 2 extra guests. The living/kitchen area is roomy and bright with a large balcony to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails as you watch sailboats glide and pelicans dive. TV in living room and master bedroom. Full-size washer and dryer in the unit frees up your time to hunt for hermit crabs in the lapping waters of the sound or walk across the street for fun time on the Gulf of Mexico. Santa Rosa Dunes complex has an Olympic size pool, tennis and shuffle board courts.

If you don t feel like cooking, Peg Leg Pete s is within walking distance. Free weekend trolley service runs Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Come spend a week or a weekend and take home great memories for free! Wireless internet.

While daily housekeeping service is not provided, the unit is stocked ONCE with the following amenities. (1) Sponge • (1) Palmolive Dish Soap • (1) Surf Laundry Powder • (1) Dishwasher Detergent • (1) Regular Coffee & Decaf Coffee • (1) Condiments Kit • (1) Kitchen Towel • Paper towels (1 roll) • Facial Tissues (1 pack)

Great Pensacola Beach Condo/Property

Everything was nice about my stay. Great location - Across the street from the beach and the pool and tennis courts were nice amenities to have. Overall would highly recommend!

Perfect for a couples getaway

Me and my husband went on our first ever kid free vacation, and the place was perfect just for us! The view of the ocean was gorgeous from the balcony, and from the front door you can see the beach! We had parking under the building, and an elevator to easily get to our room. The beach was just a walk across the street and so was an amazing restaurant called Peg Leg Pete’s!! If you’re looking for a basic place to stay for you and your significant other, this place is perfect for that!

Short getaway

Stayed here for a long weekend. My husband and I came in town for an event and had our 4 year old twin girls with us. The space was perfect for the 4 of us. The ONLY downside is the hallway exterior light stays on all night and if you are used to sleeping in pitch black darkness, you’ll have trouble sleeping.

Nice place

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was exactly as expected. During check in, we didn’t realize that it was off site in another part of town, I would recommend letting guests know that. They let us check in early, which is very nice! There were very few pots and pans, but enough for simple cooking. The listing stated a bathtub in condo, but it was a shower only. Not a big deal if you don’t have young children. Overall a great place to stay! Short walk to the beach.

Perfect for kids & a short getaway

Condo was straightforward and had everything you needed for a beach stay when the beach is priority. It wasnt overly cluttered or decorated so it was perfect for toddlers and walking kiddos. The bed was small when sharing it with a kid but if you like your significant its the perfect size. Honestly no complaints on the actual condo. Just the day before leaving the elevator was down and was told it would be down for the next couple months which sucked for packing up and leaving. Overall I recommend this condo for any family and would book again. We love the property grounds and the pool.

Small things would make a big difference

The condo was in a nice location. It was just the amenities like coffee maker was a mini Mr Coffee very cheap. The towels were sparse and no dish rags no iron as stated on line. Usually we’re we stay beach towels are provided, not here. No chairs nothing really. The bed was tiny a double haven’t seen that too much. The worst was the AC was so loud the first night we could not sleep. We ended up sleeping with door closed and a fan on to drown out.

Convenient condo

Very convenient place to stay for the blue angels show. Didn't have to sit in traffic after the show. We were across the street from the beach. Very nice place to stay.

VRBO review for Santa Rosa Dunes

The checkin process was a pain with 2 little kids. It states that it’s guaranteed by 4pm or earlier if it’s clean. We went around 2 and the front desk lady stated it wasn’t cleaned yet. We told them our situation, we didn’t hear anything back at 4:50 so we went back and they said the inspector hasn’t been there yet and won’t be able to bc she was so backed up. Very disappointed, but the place was nice and when we requested for an iron they got it to us right away. The air conditioner prob needs to be replaced bc it’s so loud so if u hear everything this wouldn’t be the place for u.

Santa Rosa Dunes Rental

The condo was very nice unfortunately the elevator was not working properly and we got stuck in it three times and had to call the fire department one time. Very upsetting!

No elevator

Could not get in Condo. Lady the rental place came and opened door, later fixed. No elevator . Rental lady carried my luggage up. 2 rolls of paper towels, 1 dishwasher soap, terrible spatula. My son bought spatula, paper towels, very old skillet, horrible pull out couch. I expected more paying what we did for the condo.

Take a Vertical Hike

The biggest issue was the management company and I assume the owner was aware that the elevator was inoperative and has been that way for a long time. Since Hurricane Sandy to be exact. According to a resident, it has worked occasionally but not for a long while. This should have been disclosed on the website for all to see before finalizing booking. . This would be a deal breaker if someone was elderly or had a physical disability. It was annoying enough to have to drag luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs as well as any groceries. From a users stand point the unit was functional but seemed to be operated on a shoe string budget. Exactly 2 garbage bags provided, a K-cup carousal with a couple of K-cup pods but no K-cup device. A cheap Mr.Coffee type with 2 decaf packets. One of the doors to the laundry area was removed and put in a closet, Door to toilet closest was removed and not on site. Storm door had no retaining rod / bracket so beware on windy days it will ripe your arm off when the wind catches it. Towels and linens were of poor quality and quantity. Location was fair. As advertised near Peg Leg Pete's but the boardwalk was 1.6 miles away. A long walk until the summer trolley starts operating. Beware of the inoperative elevator unless you are in good shape and wish to do 3 flights of steps frequently.. No repair date in sight and got "the part is on order and will be in any day now." Yup, hear that from every contractor.

Nice, but boring

We really liked the property. It was in a great location. It really wasn't much to do though. Even for couples besides walking a tiny strip. No clubs, not really entertaining unless you go further out from the beach

Best ever!!

I've been vacationing in Pensacola for over 25 years and this trip was by far THE most enjoyable time that I've ever had! The condo was perfect. It was immaculately clean, very well appointed, and so convenient to everything we enjoy here!! I'm just sad the week went by so quickly. Can't wait to book again. Thank you Vrbo!😉

Staycation
