Welcome to the "Sand Dollar Inn"! this is the perfect family friendly home that sleeps 8 and is a 4 minute short walk to the Village/ Siesta Market and 9 minute walk to the beach! This back yard of this light and bright home is a tropical paradise with heated saltwater pool and spa with screened porches overlooking it all. You will find everything you need to make your stay unforgettable from the large assortment of bikes, beach toys, tents and chairs to gourmet cookware in the gourmet kitchen. Large cabana room off pool with designated office space including desk, chair and computer monitor.

We are 5-star rated hosts and we are fortunate our home remains perfect after the hurricanes . We go the extra mile to make sure you have an excellent stay in our home. You will love your stay here at the Sand Dollar Inn! Open dates spring,summer and fall of 2026

This is a beautiful home! We had a wonderful time and it's so close to everything. They had everything you needed for a perfect vacation. We will definitely stay there again.

We loved this home!

This property was perfect for our month stay. We enjoyed every aspect. The location is great, the home and pool were fantastic, and all the little extra (especially the bikes and beach items) made it the perfect place for our family. Beth is awesome and has done this rental the right way!

Great stay and location

We just got back from a 10 day trip,, the house was great. It had everything you could need to make your stay great. Plenty of beach stuff to use and pool toys for the kids to keep them busy. The location was fantastic being so close to the Village and not having to worry about parking at all. They even had wireless chargers in the bedrooms for phones, honestly I don't think there was anything they didn't think of. The communication with them was fantastic with everything going on with the hurricanes coming through. Thanks again for a great trip!

Family Vacation

Fantastic property! We have visited Siesta Key many times through the years, staying at different locations and sometimes repeating a location. We are so happy we found this property and it was everything we hoped it would be! So much space! Close to the village and many beach entrances! No rental car necessary. Great communication from the host. This will be a repeat! Thank you to the host for allowing us to stay at your home away from home.

Perfectly splendid

The Sand Dollar Inn is awesome! Great location with easy walk to village, siesta market and multiple beach access points. The free trolley is a bonus and there’s a stop at the siesta market. It will take you to points all over the island. The house is well stocked with all you need to cook meals in. The rooms are generous with comfortable beds and great bathrooms. AC and Wi-Fi work perfectly. There are nice screened outdoor spaces and the pool/hot tub area is great, especially for little ones. The main floor laundry and downstairs bonus refrigerator made life easier. Beth is a great communicator and allstar host. We look forward to staying again. Thanks so much for sharing your home!

A Happy Place

My family and I stayed at the Sand Dollar Inn for 11 days. Our group consisted of parents, our 2 adult married children and their children. We had more than enough room. We all loved the pool. Which is warm and you can set to your liking. This home also has a large hot tub. When I say the owners have thought of everything I mean everything. From toys for the children to discover to bikes to ride. A crib set up and ready to use Everything you need is ready in the kitchen. The house is very clean , the beds are really comfortable, bathrooms are modern with good strong showers. The house is a very close walk to Siesta Village with cute shops and restaurants. It is a short walk to the beach Arrival and departure were easy. Host could not have made our stays better. Very friendly and easy to work with

Siesta Key Sanctuary

The house was perfect for our family! Everything you could think of was already at the house-all cookware, beach chairs, buggy, bikes etc. Quiet neighborhood but only two blocks from the village and the infamous mini donuts! If you haven’t been to Siesta Key before, let me tell you how lucky it is to stay close to walking distance of the village-parking is a nightmare. The house felt like home and we will definitely be booking here again. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay! Couldn’t be happier with our accommodations during our two week stay!

Beth and I are life-long Indian Lake Pennsylvania residents with an AirBnB there and one in Siesta Key FL that is listed here on VRBO. Beth's grandfather and father were partners in the development of Indian Lake at the start. Our 3 grown sons were all born when we lived year-round in the house next door to our AirBnB A-Frame and we still spend most of the summer there. Otherwise, we live in Pittsburgh. Beth keeps a large and lovely garden between those two houses at the lake. Jeff plays guitar and sings for fun and has been known to strum it fireside from time to time... Siesta Key has been a vacation destination for Beth's family since her grandfather made a wrong turn on the way to Venice back in the 50s and wound up buying beachfront property just off the Stickney Point Bridge near the Point of Rocks. In 2021 we realized our dream of having a place of our own in this beach paradise. Beth is my way-better half of 30+ years. Our houses reflect not just her decorating style but also her vision for a total rework of a building's structure. If you're impressed with the results of her vision, you'd be blown away to see her in action as she does much of the work herself including demolition, drywall, painting, carpentry and tile. I always say Beth should host her own HGTV show...

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We love the location and how family-friendly it is! It's a very short walk to the Siesta Key village with all the fun that has to offer. But it's not so close to be disturbed by the noise late at night. We also love that it's so close to the beach. It's just a short walk (and a very short bike ride!) to several of our favorite beach spots including the sunset pier (directly west of the village) and access #5 near the Beach Tower at the lower end of the village. It's 1.4 miles to the public beach if you're wondering but we're more accustomed to the beaches near the village which are very close.

This house is perfect for us whether we're enjoying it alone or having friends and family (we have 7 grandkids now!) visiting.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

In the garage there are 12 bicycles of all sizes for kids and adults plus a trailer bike and a towable bike trailer that'll fit two kiddos. Helmets, bike locks and bike lights abound :) And an ample supply of beach chairs and toys plus a popup beach tent and a beach cart to lug it all back and forth are there for your use. The in-ground heated saltwater pool has a neat "splashpad" area with seating most of the way around the pool and the hot tub is an awesome way to relax any time. You can control the lighting and temperature to tune it all just the way you like. A two-story screened-in porch (pool level and the main living level) are perfect for enjoying the breeze while keeping any bugs away any time of the year.
