Summary:
A magical & cozy cabin in the woods awaits! Remove the cares of the world. Soak in the inviting hot tub, tell stories round the campfire, play games around the table or spin discs on the record player! Central to all the amenities of Indian Mountain Lake you're also a short walk from Boulder lake it's great beach, kayaking, fishing, & swimming. A short drive gives you access to great hiking, skiing, shopping, restaurants, historic Jim Thorpe and the Pocono Raceway!

The Space:
The cabin is small and cozy so perfect for reconnecting. It's located in the gated community of Indian Mountain Lake with it's many lakes and activities available seasonally. There is a new hot tub in the cute shack out front and patio dining and firepit for guest use. The lofted entry/living room is filled with cozy seating and a propane fireplace and smart tv with AC in the summer. The kitchen is equipped with everything to cook great meals. The private bedroom is on the first floor and includes one queen bed next to the cabin's only bathroom. The bathroom is newly remodeled with rainfall shower. Upstairs is the cozy loft with 2 with 2 twin beds, a futon couch, and 2 comfy bean bags. The loft also boasts a tv and record player with a limited selection of lp's provided. In the summer, Stand Up Paddleboards are provided for guest use on the lakes.

Guest Access:
Guest registration is required in advance to access the cabin through the gated community. Parking for 3 cars is available onsite. The home is accessed by electronic keycode provided.

The Neighborhood:
Inside the gated Indian Mountain Lakes and only 1/4 mile to the amazing Boulder Lake and beach. Walking trails are also only 1/4 mile from the cabin

Interaction with Guests:
Co-host is available to respond via text, call or in person as needed. Otherwise access is granted via keycode and guests privacy is respected.

This place is adorable. The host set it up for us ahead of time so we were greeted warmly with the fire on and a lovely Winter Wonderland on the screen. Host was very responsive on a difficult weather weekend. Cabin is well appointed with a beautiful new bathroom.

Everything was fantastic. The fire was going when we arrived. Hot tub was on. The cabin is extremely clean and well equipped. I highly recommend.

Great little cabin thatā€™s perfect for a short weekend getaway from the city. Highly recommend for couples. Tons of things to do nearby, and the community is nice and quiet. Canā€™t wait to go back!

Wonderful getaway

My partner and I needed to get out of the city for a few days, and this was a wonderful spot for that. Relaxing in the hot tub was a definite highlight. The cabin itself was nice and cozy. We'll def look into this spot again. Also, check-in instructions and communication were excellent and the host was very responsive.

The house was very relaxing, well decorated (for Christmas), and just right for our anniversary weekend.The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lack of privacy. The hot tub is nice, but the windows don't have any blinds to, in the very least, close for the windows that face the street that is about 5 feet away. The bathroom has a window in the shower, but only the bottom of the window has a frosted cover, meaning you just have to hope that the steam of the shower at least partially obscures you while showering since the bathroom light has to be on so the shower fan works. The master bedroom has 2 windows that had fairly translucent drapes on them, so we ended up hanging some blankets over them for some privacy while in there.All-in-all, it was a lovely house that could just use a little more privacy.

Honeymoon

We went to the Poconos for our Honeymoon. The cabin was beautiful, clean, there was a personal welcome message on the chalk board inside the front door. We enjoyed the hot tub, we stayed at another place and there was a lift to help move the hot tub cover off after you flipped it halfway. Upset that it is located inside a gated community, which wasn't disclosed in the listing.

There's an attention to detail here which makes this property stand out from the rest: from the fully appointed kitchen with cooking vessels and utencils, to the bed linens, extra blankets and pillows. It's truly a spot that's Cozy, comfortable and full of charm! The upstairs sleeping loft also provides a wonderful additional group space for movie watching!

Lovely work-action spot

My partner and I ran away to this cottage during the work week to have a change of pace and celebrate Valentineā€™s. It was the perfect spot to work by the fireside during the day and enjoy the nearby hikes and the hot tub at night.

Fantastic Winter Getaway

My wife and I had some time off before the holidays and booked a stay at the Gingerbread to get into the Christmas spirit before all the Christmas chaos. It was a wonderful mini-vacation. We spent three days at the cabin and used two of the days to make day trips to go to the Bethlehem Christmas Market and get some snow tubing in. It was pretty chilly during our stay (with the snow adding to the Christmas vibe) so having the warm cabin and the hot tub to go back to was extra special. Highly recommend the Gingerbread for a quiet getaway!

Quaint Cabin

While our individual experience was met with weather circumstances beyond anyoneā€™s control, the experience in relation to Devin and the cabin was great. The communication was timely and helpful.The only drawback we found was the hot tub room could use a little more privacy in that there are windows on all sides and itā€™s rather close to the neighbors.Our goal was rustic but close to civilization, which the cabin provided. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we were unable to stay for the duration of our booking. But I would definitely book again if I plan to be in the area.

Amazing time

Love spending time here good communication with the manager. Very peaceful clean and so relaxing. I love seeing all the deer. An awesome time paddle boarding for the first time. Coming back again with my daughters most definitely would recommend this

Great cozy winter weekend getaway

My girlfriend and I booked a stay for the Valentineā€™s weekend and it was lovely! Everything was as advertised. The host was very responsive and helpful to all of my questions. The hot tub was amazing and we were able to use the fire pit despite all the snow. The cabin is located in a gated community and it was quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommended!

Such a great house

We enjoyed staying at this house so much. It is in a beautiful private development. We loved the waterfall hike which was close by. Jim Thorpe is 25 minutes away. Blue Ridge Winery is 25 minutes away. It really is in a beautiful area of PA. The house had such and warm and cozy feel. Very clean. Thank you so much for a great stay

Perfectly Peaceful

I enjoyed the gingerbread cabin so much and will rebook! It was a nice peaceful retreat for me, and I only wish I had booked for longer! I had an animal get into my trash the first night and Devin had somebody come out immediately and take care of it! Aside from that, no problems or complaints.

Great Get Away

This was a wonderful quiet trip for my family of 4 plus our dog. Everything we needed was there. We did bring some groceries so we wouldnā€™t have to leave, and we did not! Water was walking distance to fish, and the roaming wild life was awesome for us city dwellers. Host was readily available for my inquiries prior to the trip! We will be back.
