This was a lovely cabin with awesome views. Very clean and an awesome stocked kitchen perfect for cooking. The owners were great at communication throughout our stay. We really recommend this beautiful cabin on the woods!

21st Birthday with Friends

We rented this cabin for our oldest son’s 21st birthday party. We got it because it’s proximity to WKU and UL so everyone could be there. The place was amazing, clean, and had everything we expected.Would definitely recommend the place.

Relaxing stay

Beautiful home! We enjoyed our relaxing stay. They house had plenty of room and was very well cleaned and furnished. We had young kids and there was not much for them to do on the lake but the swimming at the bottom of Clearwater ramp was very nice!

They thought of everything with this great vacation home. The lakefront view is amazing. The interior is super cute and clean. Loved everything about this house. Highly recommend!

Lake Cumberland Family Fun

We had such an amazing family time at this property. We usually are a beach family, but chose a long lake weekend instead due to my daughter-in-law expecting soon. The house was beautiful and bright. And sooooo clean. There was an abundance of towels/linens so we were not having to do laundry on vacation. Josh was very helpful with tips and very very prompt communicating! Above average property by far to rent!!!

Owners were extremely easy to communicate with. Property is spacious, new, clean, nice amenities. — Would recommend more towel holders in bathrooms, entry way rug so people don’t mess up your new floor..

Everything and more

Our party consisted of seven former teaching colleagues who have been celebrating as a group for over 20 years. This was our first time staying outside of the state parks. The owners were extremely helpful and responded quickly to all of our inquiries. We could not have had a more perfect weekend. The location and views were magnificent and the home was just as advertised. It was clean, spacious feeling, and had more gathering areas than we were able to use. We highly recommend!! A bonus was meeting the owner’s father who was delightful!

Retirement Party

7 adults and 5 kids under 10 spent 5 days in the house. Everything was as advertised. The weather was not cooperative on a couple days but we went to Mammoth Cave National Park on one of those days and had a game day on the second. The public boat ramp is very close and has a small, stony beach. Water shoes are a must for that beach. Rented a double deck pontoon boat w/slide at Conley Bottom Resort/Marina. The marina is 1.7 miles across the river but 53 miles to drive. The kids had a blast on the slide and the water was perfect.

Great Labor Day Weekend

Great house, great weather, and great friends made for an excellent Labor Day weekend. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed and lots of room for multiple families with different age kids. The two levels allowed kids to go to bed and have their own area downstairs while parents had the upstairs. I had lots of questions for Josh the owner and he was always super responsive and helpful. The house is new and clean and well equipped which was nice. I suggested a few additions that might be helpful for the kitchen but overall we had everything we needed. It was nice to have a few snacks and starter coffee materials waiting for us.

Creating Family Memories

We had a multi-generation family gathering here. The pictures are 100% accurate, and the home is lovely. It’s not HUGE, but it is spacious. The back deck, particularly under the ceiling fan, provides a lovely outdoor area. The main floor is QUITE noisy for those downstairs so take that into account with bedroom arrangements. If you’re a gourmet/foodie the kitchen is stocked well with basics, but not every imaginable pot and pan size so just pack appropriately. Renting a boat from Conley Bottom Marina and having them bring it to the Clearwater ramp (less than 5 minutes away) was worth every penny and the boat rental folks were as nice and informative as could be. The owners of the property could not have been any nicer to do business with and answered our scads of questions kindly and quickly. This is not an area with a bustling social scene, but we had a blast at Jack’s Axes in Somerset and The Chalet was a very upscale pearl in the middle of a small town. Heartily recommend this rental property.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week at Joshua's property. The communication was impactable! A couple of things I would note for future guests... it's a new house so be prepared the sound in the house carries like no other. If you have an early riser best to keep them on the bottom floor because you can hear a pin drop upstairs not to mention every footprint. But the house has two floors so nice for people to separate and get their own space for a moment. The house does lack some dishes, with big families (we had 9) there really wasn't pots/pans big enough to make good meals. Restaurants are anywhere from 30-45 min away. There is also no dock access, blocked off by gates that you cannot access as a renter so keep that in mind also. But we swam off the ramp on days we didn't rent a boat. We rented from Conley Bottom and had a wonderful experience. The house and the lake were ultimately prefect for our family, but I would recommend the owners get a vacuum, and some more rugs for the sound.

Awesome House, Even Better Owner

We vacationed here with a 3 generation family. It was nice to have the upstairs for the older generation and we used the downstairs for the younger generation to avoid the steps. With it being a newly completed construction, the property was very nicely taken care of with minimal nuances to throw you off. The kitchen is very well stocked. The only thing I would mention is that access to the lake from the house is not possible due to a very steep back yard. The decks are awesome and give a great escape to those who vacation here. The owner is awesome! Each time I sent a message, I got a response within 5 minutes. They are awesome and want to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The last thing I will mention is that if you want to rent a boat, rent in well in advance. We missed out on doing it because we were never sure about the weather, so take the risk and secure your boat early if you so desire.

Multi generational Vacation

This is a beautiful new home on the lake. Very clean and the contact responded very quickly to any need we had. During the summer, the view of the lake is limited by trees but we still enjoyed the beautiful deck. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling that way.
