Tincup Cottage / 4 Bedroom Home close to the Resort! 10 Sec Walk to Shuttle!

Stepping inside this mountain home you can`t help but feel relaxed. The owners have gone out of their way to furnish Tincup Cottage with the most sumptuous and comfortable pieces available. From the leather couches and chairs to the one of a kind cabinets and artwork, this is a home that will help you forget work and totally relax. However, staying connected in this home is easy with the high speed WiFi and flat panel TV`s. Not into technology, then pull up to the fantastic game table in the club room and deal out a hand of poker, or go fish (depending on your skill level). This home is setup for family and friends with the ability to sleep 8 and room to spread out!

Do you ever get tired of climbing stairs just to bring in the groceries in CB? With this home there are no worries, with a ground floor living, kitchen, and dining, you are assured of the whole family joining in on the festivities. Sink back into the luxury leather furniture in the living room or sit around the farm table with family to share a meal while the gas fireplace takes the chill out of those great mountain evenings. The warm colors and the hardwood floors all combine to provide total relaxation.

Downstairs is a wonderful club/media room with game table and a great leather pit group with large flat panel TV for watching movies. Also on this level is the bunk room with two sets of bunks and a full bath. In addition, there is a full size washer and dryer should you have the urge to do laundry on vacation!

The 2nd floor of the home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king with it`s own private bath. The second bedroom has a queen and the third bedroom has two twins.These two bedrooms share a full bath just outside their doors. With walk in closets and leather seating in all the bedrooms, life couldn`t get much easier. So load up all of the family and close friends and head over to Tincup Cottage. Your vacation home away from home!

There are parking spots on the back side of the home for 1 small vehicle in the garage and one larger vehicle in the gravel parking spot parralel to the back of the home. There is additional public parking in front of the home during the summer months from April to October. No trailers. ATV's, Snowmobiles, or RV's may be parked or stored on the property per HOA regulations. Thank you for complying with the 2 car maximum parking rule in this neighborhood.

Great space and perfect location.

We loved our time at this property. The space was big enough for 2 families of 4 and it was in a great location. We took the bus to the mountain and were able to walk home at the end of the day. We will look to stay in this place again on our next trip to Crested Butte.

Great property with easy access to ski shuttle.

Great house for a family vacation with friends. Lower floor has the perfect space for kids to sleep and hangout. Very convenient access to the ski shuttle bus (about a 5 min walk on a slow day)

Great spot

We loved it. The house is very comfortable and felt like home. Wish the colors were a little lighter or better lighting...felt very dark. That is the only criticism I can think of! The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable, bathrooms had enough towels etc. One of the best rentals we've had in a long time!

Everything was very well stocked and clean! We had a couple issues but at least one of them was resolved very quick. When the washer broke on day 2, it was kind of a bummer having to come home with so much dirty laundry! But all was great!!

Great stay in CB, would definitely recommend and/or stay again. Close enough to ride bikes to resort, or into town. Bus stop is very close to house, so that was also a great option for transportation. House was very clean and stocked with all of the basics. We were a party of 9 and the grill was not large enough for us to cook dinner for everyone at once. A larger grill and some type of blackout window coverings for the queen size bedroom would be our suggestions to make this house a 5-star rental!

Great Home in Crested Butte

Very large home, lots of beds, can sleep 10 with ease. Shuttle to the base ski area is right next to the house, very easy. Staff was always very nice but there is a delay in leaving a message and when they'll get back to you. Also, you park in the back but the programmed lock is on the FRONT door...so you have to walk around the block to get there. Why not put the programmable lock on the back door where everyone parks? Only other rec would be to add a hot tub. Otherwise we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay there again.

There were no screens on the windows so we couldn’t keep all the windows open during the heat. After the third toilet clogged, I called the property management after hours. Brandon came out and fixed the toilets. I asked why there were no screens and he found them in the basement and installed them. He was fantastic and the last two days were perfect. We were just miserable, especially at night with the heat and bugs coming in, the first two nights. The house is wonderful, great location, and fun for teens.

Great home that was comfortable for our extended family of 7! We cooked dinner every night in the kitchen and it had all we needed. Check in and out was easy. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect location!

This property was half way between the mountain village skiing and the town of Crested Butte. The shuttle to the ski hill was an easy walk down the road. From there, you could stay and ski or catch a bus into town. It made it easy for each person in our group to be on their own schedule!

Great experience all around.

Great experience. Iron Horse Property was easy to work with. Description of the house was accurate and the location in Pitchfork was wonderful, neighbors were all welcoming and kind. Internet was a little slow, but who cares…stop looking at your phone or computer and go outside. Would definitely stay again.

Cute neighborhood stay

Property was perfect for us. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Location was in a sweet little family friendly neighborhood between town and the mountain which worked well for us. As others have noted the main living space feels a bit dark but not a huge deal. Kids enjoyed the bunk room and movie setup in the lower level.

Great house and convenient to town

Loved the house. As described , clean and everything you need . A bit dark. Could use higher watt bulbs in lamps. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely time at the Tin Cup Cottage - Pitchfork.

We had an absolutely perfect time at the Tin Cup Cottage in the Pitchfork community. The house had everything we needed to celebrate family and my oldest daughter's wedding. We could socialize at the house, share meals and then retreat to comfortable bedrooms. Neighbors were welcoming and I can't think of a single negative element. The location is great because it's a quick jaunt to Crested Butte and you're right at the mountain for all the amenities. The Tin Cup Cottage was simply wonderful.

Best Crested Butte Getaway

Our family LOVED the Pitchfork Cottage. It was homey and comfortable. From cooking family meals to board games at the table we had an awesome time. Everyone had an actual mattress to sleep on - always a plus. The shuttle was right around the corner. Eat at The Secret Stash if you love pizza! We enjoyed mountain biking and hiking. Will stay here again if it is available.

Truly felt like a home away from home!

Our family was in total awe of the home. We do not know why we had not considered renting a home before but will in the future. The home truly felt like home away from home. I had planned on using a crock pot while there and was going to bring mine from home. I was assured that there would be one in the home and I did not need to bring one (and there was one, yeah!). We will absolutely rent from Iron Horse again. As in life things happen but Steve was able to turn what could have been a bad situation into a wonderful stay. In the process we were able to get to know him and things about Crested Butte. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

Christmas in Paradise

We have had a wonderful week in Crested Butte. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It is beautiful! We were here with my in-laws and sister-in-law. Our girls loved sleeping downstairs. We could not have been more comfortable. It was a fantastic place to spend Christmas. Santa even found us! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!
