Enjoy the recently added hot tub in a fully-fenced yard with a spacious sectional and fire pit – perfect for cherished moments with your furry companions. Your exceptional getaway begins here. Located in downtown Spearfish, two blocks from Main Street, we've lovingly transformed our 24 x 20 sq ft hobby garage into a cherished home, adjacent to the original homestead.

*Dog friendly with approval first. * Pet fee is $30 per trip, up to 2 dogs allowed, you are responsible for all cleanup and damages. Not allowed on beds and furniture. Must be crated if left inside while gone from the property. PLEASE MESSAGE ME FOR DETAILS.*

The bed is a Queen bed. The couch is also quite comfortable if needed for sleeping (let us know and we can provide bedding for the couch as well).
If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking during your stay and need to know what kitchen supplies we have, just message me and I can send photos of cabinet contents.

Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels and subscription is provided.

This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.

We have a strict no smokers policy (no smoking inside OR outside) as I am asthmatic and can have episodes with even second-hand smoke.
We want you to know that there is no laundry on location but the laundry mat is about 5 blocks away.

The parking for this property is free 24-hour street parking.
Important note for showers: The water heater is a tiny-home water tank so there's about 15min of hot water at a time (it takes about 1 hr to fully reheat).

We are located less than 1 mile from award winning Dough Trader Pizza, a few blocks from Spearfish Creek, a mile from Lookout Mt Hike, and half a mile from stunning Spearfish Canyon and the beautiful City Park.
House Rules

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our
guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.

IMPORTANT: No Smoking of any kind is allowed on the property as secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack for the owner. This includes pipes, cigarettes, e cigarettes, etc Should this rule be violated we will need the unit cleaned by a professional smoke restoration company and guest will be liable for the $2,500 dollar charge.

Pets
We charge extra fees for pets if there is damage or additional work. We would love to keep the home pet-friendly for all our future guests as we personally know how hard it can be to find pet accommodation while traveling. With this in mind, please pick up after your pet (shedding hair, pet food, feces in the yard,etc).

● Up to two dogs are allowed by pre-approval only. Guest must let us know they are going to bring a pet BEFORE they arrive for check-in.

● Dogs should be friendly and house trained. Any dog that becomes disruptive will need to be removed immediately. We love our neighbors and communicate with them regularly to make sure they are not being disrupted.

● Dogs that utilize pee pads are NOT allowed. Any “accidents” inside the house the guest will be charged a $150 cleaning fee per accident.

● No pets on linens or furniture (bed or couch).

● No chewing on anything in the house or the outdoor patio furniture.

● Your dog must be supervised by you at all times or kenneled in the studio if left alone.

● Must pick up after dog feces in the yard. Doggy bags are provided. Any feces left in yard will be charged $5.00 per pickup.

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other
The space you are booking is for 1-2 people. More than two people are allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed
by the homeowner before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.

We may leave consumables such as S’more supplies, coffee, and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and
inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting
neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.

My wife and I came up from Colorado to spend some time with family. Short driving distance to them and close to downtown Spearfish. Very peaceful. It will be our first choice when we come through again.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for us and our two pups. It is small, but utilized the space perfectly and updated so cute! It has everything we needed. It is in a cute quiet neighborhood and close to all the attractions. We wanted to be close to the Deadwood, the Blackhills, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument but not in a busy area. You can tell the owner takes pride in their home. It has lots of extras such a hot tub and cute outside sitting area. The biggest plus for us was the nice fenced in backyard for our pups. Also, it is air conditioned which is not common for the area, but it was actually 98 while we were there and were so thankful for the AC. The shower is tight but no big deal for us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental.
