The Adventure begins at Spearfish Cottages - we are happy to host you during this amazing journey!

Cottage #11 is a delightful 1-bedroom, 1-bath duplex cabin, complete with a charming little front porch that's perfect for spending your evenings. This comfortable retreat offers just the right amount of space for any traveler, along with all the essential amenities you could wish for.

You'll find a rejuvenating escape right on your doorstep with our inviting shared hot tub.

Discover the wonders of the region, as we're conveniently just an hour's drive from the iconic Mt. Rushmore and the Rapid City Airport. No need for long journeys; your adventure begins right here. Three blocks from BHSU!

Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels and subscription is provided. Free WIFI.

*Dog friendly with approval first. * Pet fee is $30 per trip, up to 2 dogs allowed, you are responsible for all cleanup and damages. Not allowed on beds and furniture. Must be crated if left inside while gone from the property. PLEASE MESSAGE ME FOR DETAILS.*

Bedroom:
Queen bed. Rack and hangers for clothing. Luggage Rack. Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels and subscription is provided.

Living Room/Kitchen:
Couch, compact oven and fridge, Keurig, Toaster, Free Wi-Fi, basic kitchen essentials for cooking (ask for more details if you have specific needs!).

Parking:
We have our own private parking lot right next to the cabins! If you are bringing a trailer or large moving van, etc, message us for more parking details.

Check in/Check out:
Our check-in time is 4pm, check-out is 10am sharp unless approved by one of us in advance. We will send you your check-in info with the door code and parking directions the morning of your check-in.

Fun things to do at the property:
- HOT TUB! There is a large decked area with a privacy fence around a community hot tub.
-Spearfish Creek. The edge of the property is on the border of Spearfish Creek. Great fishing!
-A nice, flat screen smart TV with Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels subscription provided.
-Walk paths! We are in the center of town so there are several paths to walk the dog or take the kiddos to the park (several within 1 mile).

Amenities:
-Highspeed Wireless Internet. We currently have the highest speed the VAST sells which is advertised as 1 GB/sec.
- Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels and subscription provided at no additional charge!
-Kpods, and Creamer there for your enjoyment at no charge
-Shampoo, Conditioner, and Bodywash in the shower
-Bath Towels, Hand towels, and washcloths
-Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Broom, Cleaning Products
-Kitchen has dishes along with a Sauce Pan, Skillet, Strainer, Cutting Board, and Mixing Bowls. Most importantly we have Coffee Mugs and Wine Glasses so you are prepared to wake up and fall asleep.
-Fridge, Microwave, Keurig in every unit

Property Rules:
--This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.
-No Smoking or Vaping of any substances. If we find evidence of any kind of smoking or vaping in the property there will be a minimum of $250 added to your stay. The property is smoke free.
-Please respect neighbors by being quiet after 10pm and 8am. Our guests' sleep is important to us! You are in your own house with no shared walls so it is pretty easy to meet this expectation.
-If you choose to use the hot tub the hours are 8am-10pm. No drinks or food allowed for sanitary and safety. Please shower before using the hot tub. It is a community hot tub so please respect other guests who may be using it as well. There is no lifeguard on duty and by using the hot tub you are accepting responsibility for your own safety.
- Parking is allowed along the edge of the property on the gravel parking area. Please no parking sideways on the street or large trailers. If you need trailer parking, the property along Ames St is our parking and can fit 2 trailers. Otherwise, trailers must be detached and parked the same direction as other vehicles.

House Rules
As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.

IMPORTANT: No Smoking of any kind is allowed on the property as secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack for the owner. Should this rule be violated, we will need the unit cleaned by a professional smoke restoration company and the guest will be liable for the $2,500 dollar charge.

Quiet Hours after 10pm

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners, and portable device chargers.

Other
The space you are booking is for 1-2 people. More than two people are allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed by the homeowner before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.

We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Pet friendly Spearfish Rental
It was a clean and nicely decorated rental with all the necessary amenities (except for an oven) and perfect for my husband and I as well as our dog! The neighborhood is primarily residential and the creek does run by the property however to see it and/or hear it well, you should go a block over to the walking path. The neighbors were a little noisy which cannot be controlled by management. Overall very pleased with the accommodations and would cinsdiern staying here again. For those who may wish to have the luxury of TV in the living room we will note the TV is in the bedroom without additional seating.
